My loved one's biggest complaint would be, "There's so much for me to do here, I can't think!" So many activities! They go shopping, they go on rides around town, they go on fishing trips - so many things to do! This is a smaller place, so the staff really gets to know the residents, and everyone socializes well. When we toured, they even invited us to see the back of the kitchen where they prepare the food. The staff to resident ratio is small, and there's great communication! Medications are delivered there, which is a time saver! Also, instead of keeping cash in the rooms, they have an in-house account where you can withdraw money for things like shopping trips! He's so happy there, which makes us happy!

Our uncle needed a place to be safe and well cared for. The level of care he receives is extraordinary and the help is top, top notch. The food is excellent (I want their mushroom soup recipe! ...no kidding)! Lakeview Terrace is not one of those large, impersonal places. It's cozy, clean, friendly and comfortable.

It is an awesome community. They have been so good to our loved one. They are very helpful and accommodating. The have not faltered a little bit. They are open to suggestions and they really listen to the customers. I have nothing but praise for them right now. Monthly is about $3,200 for semi private. I would recommend this community to anyone.

They have memory care too and it's great. If A Place for Mom doesn't work with them already they should definitely look into it because they are a top notch facility!

I was very impressed with my tour at Berry Park, the staff were so friendly. The location did not work out for me, my family would not have come to visit.

Moving Mom from her Assisted Living situation to Memory Care has been a true blessing. Her emotional state has improved significantly since she has moved to the Preserve at Beavercreek. In spite of her significant constraints, hearing, vision and memory function, at age 99 she is making friends, developing new routines , and appears to be adjusting well. And this is all despite rather significant turnover in leadership roles in the few months she has been there. The entire staff at the Preserve is trained and knowledgeable about how to support her dementia -- a key difference from Assisted Living, where some understood instinctively, but none were trained.

Best Assisted Living I have recently... Visted with a family friend during happy hour, had a blast! Loved how all the residents were engaged with the employee's. Very clean, family friendly community. Would definitely recommend this community to anyone.

Great place under new management! Quality caring service for Seniors!!!!

They have communicated very well and they have let me know what is going on with my loved one. Their care seems to be very good; if there are any issues they contact me. I would say the only thing I would like to see improved is some more planned activities.

I am in the facility nearly everyday to visit my mother, who has been a resident for about 2 months. I have found the staff to be not only professional, but very friendly and kind. I am amazed at the scope and quantity of activities that my mom has to chose from on a weekly basis. My mother became ill recently and the staff called me quickly to be involved in the decision of how to get her to the hospital. She was admitted for about 8 days and received visits from the center director about every other day. We are pleased with the care and attention mom gets. I visit several of the other residents every day that I am in the center and find them to be happy and engaged with one another. I only don't give straight 5 stars because there is always room for improvement...but my days are more peaceful now knowing that since I can't be with her constantly, someone is caring for her when I am not there.

The Ridge is doing a great job. Making my Dad as comfortable as possible. Communication has been good.

The meals are very good. I even go frequently to visit my dad and have a meal with him. The place is very clean. They've recently remodeled. The executive director of The Ridge at Oregon City is trying to bring in more residents. Some residents have died and some have moved out because of health reasons. I've even gotten to know some of the residents there. The new activity director has many varieties of activities available as well as field trips

Things I would tell others: The free Wi-Fi isn't strong enough to use. You'll need your own Wi-Fi if you want to use it. It is good for basic things on your phone or laptop, but not strong enough to stream movies. The thermostats in the room are inefficient and tough for my grandmother to use due to its location and the style is hard to turn, especially for old arthritis hands.

The director was wonderful and the knowledge they had was amazing! One of the only reasons we didn't go was that the community had lots residents and the community felt dark. I believe the care would have been great here and the director seemed to really care about the residents in the community.

The front entry canopy is in bad disrepair/dry rot and paint. My friend has had troubles with getting issues fixed within his room such as faucet drips, needing a light switch replaced, and most recently he has a live wall plug that pulled out of the wall and is hanging from the live wires. The food is my loved ones biggest complaint, he purchases from the grocery stores and chooses to eat most meals in his room.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. There is a management change, and they have been forthright in this scenario and all the information and if they are more than willing to fix anything that is brought to their attention. The staff are very nice to my loved one. My loved one is eating, and eating different kind of foods. My loved one looks better, and the staff are keeping my loved one well hydrated. Laundry, transportation, snacks, meals, housekeeping, and the room is included in the monthly rate and the in house doctor. There is an individual that comes in to cut my loved one's hair. The community works well with Hospice. This isn't a giant community. The staff gets to know the residents and family members. The community has plenty of room for the residents to roam.
