The staff at this community has been very accommodating to my mother and our family. This is a really nice community and everything is working out well. She is still adjusting to the community and the staff has been trying to help her with that. There is many activities through out the week for the residents. I tired the food on tour and the meals are great. I would recommend this community. I would just say to be prepared for the process.

I loved walking into Chateau because it was very welcoming and warm. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and they all went out of their way to make sure I felt at home. It is a very clean and organized community and I had a very positive experience.

They have communicated very well and they have let me know what is going on with my loved one. Their care seems to be very good; if there are any issues they contact me. I would say the only thing I would like to see improved is some more planned activities.

I have lived here for a little over one year and have never been so happy. I have a darling one bedroom apartment with a patio that goes out to a pretty court yard! I love the activities and the staff are all so nice to me and my friends

The staff at Avalon is caring, diligent, and friendly. They do a nice job providing care for my great-aunt. They are always helpful and are always willing to answer questions and address my concerns. I recommend Avalon as a place for your loved one should they require assistance with their daily living needs.

My mom has lived in Avalon for a few years. She moved to Memory Care more than a year ago, and since then, has done much better. The staff are kind and gentle with her and the other residents. I find that staff respond to my inquiries and want to help Mom be safe and comfortable. They are quick to ask questions so they understand what Mom wants and needs.

I am in the facility nearly everyday to visit my mother, who has been a resident for about 2 months. I have found the staff to be not only professional, but very friendly and kind. I am amazed at the scope and quantity of activities that my mom has to chose from on a weekly basis. My mother became ill recently and the staff called me quickly to be involved in the decision of how to get her to the hospital. She was admitted for about 8 days and received visits from the center director about every other day. We are pleased with the care and attention mom gets. I visit several of the other residents every day that I am in the center and find them to be happy and engaged with one another. I only don't give straight 5 stars because there is always room for improvement...but my days are more peaceful now knowing that since I can't be with her constantly, someone is caring for her when I am not there.

Very pleased so far. My FIL has been there 2 weeks and everyone has been super helpful. Way more staff on duty than anywhere else we looked at. Also the staff seem very happy with their jobs - always laughing and talking with each other - great atmosphere.

Avalon = peace of mind My very elderly mother resides at Avalon. It's such a caring community. Every member of the staff knows every resident by name and their actions show they really care. Mom desperately wanted to stay in her own home, but that wasn't possible. So she reluctantly moved to Avalon. The have been so kind in helping her adjust. They provide lots of activities and the facilities are so welcoming, clean and comfortable. To that add the friendly, caring staff and it brings me peace of mind as I live out of state. They keep me informed of activities and any problems she may be having. I'd recommend Avalon to anyone looking for a pleasant, safe place for an elderly person.

We are very happy with them. If I could give the staff a 10 I would. I have only eaten there once, it was okay, nothing outstanding. She complains about the food on a regular basis. They do get some choices. Drinks aren't always served right away when they are seated and sometimes they are seated half an hour before the meals are served. I liked that it reminded me a lot of where she was moving from, I liked that it was clean and updated. The people who I met on the tour were super nice, and the management, and everybody there always smile and says hi. They don't run around acting like they are busy with attitude. I liked that it was a little smaller than the place she came from. The apartments were very nicely updated, and I was thrilled with the bathroom, it's accessible and quite large.

Overall I am pretty happy with them. I can't really think of anything that they could do better. I can't really explain what set them apart, it's just a feeling you get. So many of them are so similar, the friendliness really stood out. It also seemed to be more active in the common areas.

I liked them very much. They had a friendly staff. They were very clean and I like the fact that it was small. I just seemed like a very homey atmosphere which was great.

The facility overall is good. Some miscommunication issues regarding resident care and incidents that occurred. Like most businesses there are some employees who do their jobs great and others that do not. We were fortunate to have a majority of good staff assisting my father and we also had the added benefit of Hospice so some of their care covered Peaks shortcomings. Hard to provide improvements for those. The food was not terrible - but somethings were better than others. Maybe a better variety As for activities - that is challenging as well since the residents are all at different stages/capabilities - so maybe suggest different groups for different activities based on their abilities. I was originally excited about their Tover option thinking that would have been beneficial, but they didn't seem to use it often at all.

I think our facility offers a very unique program. We have good help and caring people. We try to offer a positive experience for our residents.

For the most part it was great before it became the Ridge. That was about the same time I moved my dad to hospice.

The Ridge is doing a great job. Making my Dad as comfortable as possible. Communication has been good.

i have this a 4 star but it is becoming a 5 thanks to [name removed] !!! [name removed]has been fabulous she truly cares and understand what the residents need. when i have had concerns, i can contact [name removed]and she listens and immediately takes care of the issue! [name removed]has made changes within the building and with communication with staff, resident and resident care givers. i can’t thank [name removed] and the staff enough for taking care of my mother.

What we like the most about The Peaks is that it is very clean and they give very good care to the residents. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend them to others families.

It seemed to be the best fit for my mother-in-law. It is a smaller community compared to some of the others we looked at. She said it felt more like home.

They could do better at getting back to me with requests sometimes. The overall cleanliness in the facility is great. its just often a lot of crumbs on the floor and his tray table in his room that I notice. Also he shares a bathroom with his neighbor and that isn't always the cleanest.
