I cannot say enough good things about Arbor Landing at Compass Point! My parents were in crisis because my 85 y/o father broke his ankle and my mom was taking care of him. This place was a godsend, so well run, the Director, [name removed], made it so seamless to get my parents in quickly, the apt was beautiful and just what they needed for respite care. The staff was friendly and competent, a wonderful home away from Home. Clean, beautifully and superbly furnished with handicap bars and large bathrooms. Food delivery if necessary and always[ a helpful person if you needed anything. Highly recommend!!

Great staff. [name removed] was very accommodating. We were scrambling to get my brother in law tranfered out of rehab into an assisted living facility. Falls river went out of there way to meet are needs and get us situated and established in a nice room with good food and friendly staff. Family is very happy with facility

The staff is fabulous, the only complaint would be the quality of the food. Definitely has gone down since mom first got there. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

The vast majority of staff are very friendly and helpful. The facility is beautiful and homey, very comfortable. As far as the food goes, I think that the menu could be more varied, food could be served hotter, and better quality meals.

I don't deal much with the staff since I'm 3,000 miles away. My ratings above are based on daily phone calls with Mom plus our twice a year visits. Because she's in a 2 bedroom apartment paying one half of the total cost. Her portion is less expensive than a one bedroom apartment, although she's very lonely because they haven't replaced her apartment mate who had to leave due to health problems.

We were very pleased how Carteret Landing served my Grandmother. We rally like the family atmosphere and really took time with my grandmother and her mobility issues. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we had.

All of the staff and residents at Arbor Landing Compass Pointe have been extremely friendly and helpful.

My husband passed away in November. I would give Arbor Landing a 5 in each area. They are simply the best...caring, conscientious and welcoming.

My wife's cousin is thrilled to be there & with the good care it offers. He couldn't be more pleased! It has been excellent in every way. It is by far the best faciltiy in Morehead.

Moving mom to an independent living apartment was of course very stressful. Chosing the right facility and getting buy-in from mom, who had a 3 bedroom 2 bath house by herself was sometimes tenuous. A place for mom helped to make the right facility choice. The fact that momcould take her little dog with her to Arbor Landing at Ocean Isle was the turning point. Mom's apartment is just right for her and the personal are great.

This is my one-month anniversary at Arbor Landing. I am very happy here. The staff is phenomenal, and the residents are very friendly and helpful. The activities provide an opportunity for the residents to communicate with each other. My decision to live here was the best choice for me.

I would recommend. The communication and interaction with the staff has been great.

The Director and the entire Staff are great. They are so caring, helpful, and are always around. They all take the time to talk with you and listen to your concerns and worries. Everyone knows your loved one and your name, greets you with a smile. When there was an issue, my Mom pushed her alert button, someone was there immediately. Interim Nurses were also great. Always checking in to see how Mom was and to see if she needed anything. Fe, the best, along with the other CNA's , always joked with my mom making her laugh. Had away to help her meet other residents. It was like they understood my Mom' s needs and treated her like a family member and with dignity. Physical therapists were also awesome. In a month and a half my Mom came along way. After searching for some time and visiting other facilities , we made the right choice!

Very pleasant surroundings, caring staff. They could use full staff on weekends but it's workable. My parents have settled in and are happy there.

Everything has been great, communication is excellent. It is indeed expensive, for sure. I would recommend the facility to others.

I believe there has been a recent change, but the food was good. Maybe a little more variety would be good. Christmas dinner was 5 stars! They have activities out the wazoo. The value for cost is great, you have to pay well for a good staff and less turnover. It's a lot, but worth it.

Thank you so VERY much for being so considerate, so attentive, and so professional while caring for my mom. My family is also grateful for the availability of qualified and accessible medical professionals! FIVE STARS!

I think they are as good as any. Nothing outstanding. My brother is local so that was deciding factor. I would recommend. The only negative is their food- mom says they use powered eggs! And I was there a Saturday night dinner was salad with chicken over it. Other than that the other standard items like hamburgers, this was 'dinner'. I was not impressed.

I would highly recommend Falls River Villages. The care is excellent, the staff are loving and supportive. There are plenty of varied activities to keep patients interested and involved. The thing that most attracted me to Falls Village initially was the warmth and sincerity of staff and this held true during my sister in law's entire stay!

Honestly, we are very pleased with Arbor Landing at Ocean Isle. They are able to do way more to make my Mom comfortable and safe than we could at home. Now we can visit her frequently as we want and can and still be her family and love on her without harming ourselves trying to give her the best, which she deserves!
