I think more encouraging the residents to participate in activities would help.... maybe make it a contest or something. The food my mom constantly complained about. Not much variety and she swears the eggs were powdered.... otherwise it was pretty well run.

It was a nice place for my dad to live once he relocated to Hampstead. I would recommend to others looking that they take a tour. I do not know what it is like now but if I was looking for an independent living spot for a relative in this area, I would take a tour.

Extremely friendly staff, very helpful, spacious apartments, clean. Only complaint is the food and wait staff

Staff turn over. Undocumented and / or reported incidents (injuries). Clothes not separated after the laundry process. We are exploring the idea to relocate to a new location.

The food needs to be better & warmer. More attention to bug control.

Mom is doing well enough. Arbor ridge is a nice place to live. Based on the experience our family has had, we would recommend them to other families as long as there isn't too much of a memory issue.

I would definitely recommend them. They have been a huge help for my mom and they treat her like family. They take care of the residents but there is always room for improvement.

It's a nice facility but needed skilled nursing for my mom. I would recommend it to others.

Some of the staff are great. Others are not good at all. Overall I would say the staff are very helpful and there for the people, but the few that aren't make it sometimes difficult. It's a beautiful facility but they have had some challenges keeping the cleaning crew for the apartments. The main areas are very well maintained.

The administrative staff is established and approachable . The staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is attractive and warm I chose this for two main reasons 1. It has independent living apartments under one roof with meals, activities, life alert, and opportunities for varied assistance 2. It has assisted living and memory care as well so my mom can move when needed without leaving the facility

Communicating between staff and shifts could be a little better. Yes we would recommend this community to other families, but they have let go of two Director level staff and we are waiting to see if new staff will affect things, positive or negative.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful. They made my Dad’s transition into his new environment very easy. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to find an independent living community for their loved one.

The Residents are friendly and the place is well maintained. I would say that the Apartment is nice, that the Staff is helpful and that the food is good. It is very good for the price.

Arbor Landing is beautifully appointed and the apartments are spacious. We love the additional advantage of a screened in porch . The place itself is immaculate and beautiful. The challenge Mom has had is that there is a staffing problem. Currently the new employee doing her apartment is terrific. There were just a few challenging weeks. We hope you will be able to keep some great people! It seems to be a challenge everywhere right now. Friendliness of the staff is a 10 - if that was available. Definitely a solid 5. Everyone is so sweet and friendly and always there to assist. Mom and dad have not really needed a ton of care yet, but what they feel well cared for. There have been good meals and not so good meals according to Mom. With the activities I can't really rate this. I'm trying to encourage mom and dad to take advantage of more of the activities. Mom thought the regular exercise was way too simple so she's going to try yoga. She had a more stringent exercise class a their last retirement community. I'm a little torn on the value for cost - I will officially give it a 5 as it seems all retirement homes are quite expensive.

Value for cost - Nothing to compare it to. It was the first one we looked at and my dad was satisfied. It seems expensive to me but I have no money of my own to put towards something like this so the only reference point I have is the 24 hour care my mother needed which was twice as much as my dad is paying for his care .

The facility itself is very very nice and the people there are wonderful. The community has very pleasant surroundings and we really like the size of it, its not to small and not to big/overwhelming. Their food occasionally is inconsistent but for the most part it is good. We do think they could improve on their activities - the department is lacking some and could have more variety .

Overall, very pleased with Arbor Landing. Good place, friendly, professional staff. Have a wonderful activities director in the memory care unit, works tirelessly with residents.

The staff work very, very hard. However, they are very understaffed. When my loved one moved in, the dining room was open from beginning to 7 pm. The dining room is no longer available anytime due to staffing concerns. The food is great! The community looks out for the resident's health. The dining room in assisted living doesn't have a window. Some of the residents can be very cliquey when it comes to the tables and sitting for dining. The staff including the med techs and aides are great! They really try to get to know the residents likes and dislikes of each. My loved one is safe and I don't have to worry at all with them being here. The nurse practitioner hasn't been able to see my loved one since moving in and this has been a concern for me. In addition the nurse practitioner hasn't responded to any of my emails. There lots of activities available for the residents to stay engaged with. The staff are good at trying to get all residents engaged in these activities. The physical therapy group has been able to work with my loved one and my loved one has shown much improvement with the therapists. The availability of the room and the quick assessment of my loved one by the community was wonderful! There are lots of entertaining and common areas for the residents to use.
