The facility and staff are clean and helpful. This is NOT a facility that can transition into assisted living. If no need for those services loom in your future, a great place to be.

We picked this community, because of the friendliness and cleanliness....and the fact that it felt like a cruise ship! They loved it. Making friends was easy, she was comfortable and always looked forward to the activities.

We toured with Evergreen Crossings and it was nice, but in a busy location and the library was not as nice (my dad reads a lot). But Evergreen Crossings would have been our second choice out of the places that we looked into initially.

I love Copper Springs Retirement , it has been a great experience for me. The food is good and the staff here are very accommodating. The apartment sizes and accommodations are very nice!

On all categories this a very good, safe place to be. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping is good. The food is better than average. My only thought is that it is a little pricey. I really love my one bedroom and cherish my privacy. I would recommend it to anyone who wants their family to be well cared for.

My loved one is a resident at Chartiers Bend Retirement Resort and it's been a good experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The residents are mostly very friendly, too. I really haven't had much communication about anything, since we haven't needed it. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

It's an absolutely beautiful facility. It's kept up very well. The staff is great. I think the biggest distraction for me was it was built as a retirement resort, yet fully at least 50% of the residents are either in walkers, motorized carts, or wheelchairs. They're parked all over the place. Having to navigate all those mobility devices negatively affects wait time standing in line for food (often up to 30 minutes). Also, when they're all parked on the second and third floors, that's a recipe for a catastrophe in the event of a fire or emergency situation. I would call it more of a nursing home atmosphere, whereas I expected a more vibrant community of retired people. It's still a really nice place. Housekeeping is fantastic. The concierge - all 3 of them - are fantastic. On weekends, they do work a little short staffed in the dining room, which makes for longer lines. Most of the people are really friendly, although It takes a while to get to know everybody.

Emerald Oaks didn't have any availability for our loved one.

Our family had an in-person tour and we thought it was a really nice tour experience but the apartment our loved one was looking at just did not have a patio, and we wanted her to have a patio with a nice view.

We really love Emerald Oaks. My father-in-law has really enjoyed it and has embraced the social aspect of it, despite going there saying he wasn't going to make friends and wanted to keep to himself. It has really helped his mental sharpness to stay engaged with people - playing games, going on outings, etc. It has been a really good experience for him. We love the apartment. It's roomy, so he can fit a great deal of furniture in it. He's very comfortable there. As far as the food, some of the dishes are good. But the vegetables tend to be bland and mushy, and the food in general is lacking in flavor. While it's not great, It's not terrible either.

Huntly Springs was very nice, the price was better than another community we toured, but the facility was too big and my loved ones would have had difficulty finding their apartment.

Maple Ridge is a good place for me, providing everything that I need. It would be nice to have comfortable chairs in our entrance area, the ones we had were removed.

Wonderful place to live.

I found that Stone Oak has all the ingredients to keep healthy and live a happy long life. Good variety of food, social interaction, fun, mental stimulation and exercise.

I am happy here - for the time in my life (my age 95) - this is a good place to live - the only real issue is the shower design - the activities are great and varied - the best part - you choose if you care to participate.

Our mangers activities director and our head conceirge is awesome. They work so hard to make life so much fun. I appreciate their efforts. They deserve raises.

They are looking for a new chef. The new managers, husband and wife team, used to own several restaurants. He is an excellent chef and has told me that he expects excellent food there at Stone River he feels the folks need to get what they're paying for, and he & his wife eat there as well since they live there. I would say it's A Beautiful Residence. Very inviting looking, even the hallways & seating areas on the different floors (with comfy chairs & fireplaces. Also has a lovely room with a pool table. Mom and I call it the cruise ship. There's a soft serve machine or you can get ice cream 24 hours a day! And it has a movie theater with the marquee! Personally I love the place and would live there if there were a pool. And if we were older. The residents appear to be 70+ years old with maybe a handful of younger folks.

I toured this facility and it was nice. Very pretty, but outdoor space for resident use is limited in size.
