Oak Park is phenomenal!. I’m speaking as one who has a loved one in the facility, and I have researched until I was blue in the face to find somewhere that was a mix of the things she needed, and what she could afford. Katy area senior living is very very expensive. Hands down, this place has the most bang for the buck in the Katy area, and if you are considering a home for yourself or for a senior in your life, PLEASE go see for yourself how nice it is. Although they do not provide nursing assistance, the residents are able to bring in their own helpers, or can use the company that the apartments work with. A lot of the residents use helpers to provide safety with bathing, ext. First off, the staff is also exceptional, all of them. They are all extremely caring, talkative, and accommodating to all the residents and their guests alike. I’m there a lot, as my mom is in a wheelchair, and I take care of all her needs. She has lived there 8 months now, and I have never had a interaction than was anything less than top notch. Second, it’s all bills paid, and all meals are included, and prepared by an actual chef! They are REALLY good, and they encourage other family members to come eat with the residents (it’s only $8, less than the cost of a fast food lunch!) There is also weekly housekeeping and bed linen changes, transportation to doctor appointments twice a week, and ACTIVITIES every day. The activity director is full of energy, and she works her tail off to keep things interesting. My mother has made so many new friends, and again, the residents that live there embrace newcomers with open arms. Everyone is genuinely friendly, not “fake friendly”, as I have seen at other places. The bottom line is this, once you have most of your daily needs taken care of, and you are in a stimulating environment with people that you come to call family, life is happy! There is so much more that I am not mentioning, you really have to see for yourself, take a tour, and find out the abundance of “extras” for yourself.

Great place. This is a sister location to Walnut Grove. Based on location, we prefer Walnut Grove. Will continue looking at other places as time permits. Two year goal right now. Thank you

Excellent location for us, definite Resort feel as you enter, lots of services and facilities available for residents. I especially like the medical services offered as needed, on an ala carte basis.

Just toured yesterday and the “WOW” factor is there the moment you enter the door! From the concierge greeting to the soothing coy pond! After touring here, no where else will come close! You need to go see for yourself! The lady that showed us around was very helpful and knowledgeable about the process! Thanks! Highly recommend!

After residing in "Copper Springs Retirement Resort" for only sixteen (16) days, we are very satisfied with our "independent living" status here. The entire staff and fellow residents are friendly, personable, and professional, making us feel like we are part of a large, friendly, extended family. While the dining room cuisine is largely okay, my wife and I appreciate all the amenities here and reasonable monthly rates with no extras to pay for. We do not regret, in any way, our decision to move into Copper Springs Retirement Resort, and we highly recommend this facility as a retirement home for "seniors." Thank You, [name removed]

this could also be a perfect community, lacks curb appeal around the main entrance but it is still new. inside beautiful apartments..lovely dining room with lots of food options. has a very lets be social vibe. some apartments far from elevators if you have mobility issues...stlll a contender.

Best retirement living in town. Excellent food, exceptional staff, lovely facility and SO comfortable. You feel at home the first time you walk in the door.

What a beautiful facility. Everyone was so friendly from the minute I walked in the door. The amenities were amazing. I am not sure my mother needs so much but it is nice to have these options.

I cannot say enough about what a sensational job [Removed] are doing at Walnut Grove. They are caring, professional, and excellent communicators. My loved one's dementia was unfortunately worsened when we had to move her from her home, but [Removed] went above and beyond the call of duty seeing to it that she was safe. She was so good at assisting us in moving my loved one out of her house. Walnut Grove was head and shoulders above the other communities we toured, and I would enthusiastically recommend the community to anyone. It is a first class establishment.

The place was amazing. It really is like a cruise ship inside. It was a good idea to bring my mother. She really liked it. It fit with her specific needs. We are going to look at others to make sure its the right place.

My Mom lives here currently and, overall, the experience has been positive. The facility is beautiful and has a great group of people working for them. The staff members are very nice and seem concerned with making sure she’s happy. The facility is strictly independent living; however, they have a home health group that rents space on the first floor. They’ve been very helpful in getting us connected with the right people to help my Mom with her needs. They have food available 24hrs a day and 3 set meal times. If a resident doesn’t want to go to the dining area, they’ll bring the food to the room at no extra charge. They have activities going on all the time with happy hour (social hour) every afternoon. I would absolutely recommend this place and have already done so numerous times.

My wife and I are very happy here. The other residents are very nice and friendly, the staff is great, and we really couldn’t ask for anything better. The staff is right on beck and call. We put in a request with the manager to have someone come up and help us set up the TV and move things around to our liking. The maintenance person came and did everything for us just how we wanted it to be done. We also have our own washer and dryer. Every staff member knows us by first name and the service in the dining area is great. The food is also great. I really like that we have an ample amount of time to go to the cafeteria and eat when we want to. Right now, this is the best independent living facility in town.
