Great place, a bit expensive, but yes we would recommend Julian Woods Retirement to other families based on the experience so far.

The staff: always friendly and very accommodating. The dinning room is always clean and they work to make sure the residents are well feed and satisfied. There is always some type of activity going on for residents to participate in.

Really caring and dedicated staff that go out of their way for the residents. Wonderful amenities and activities. I would totally recommend Daniel Point. It has given us great support and peace of mind.

It is very nice, good people, friendly easy going. It can get boring sometimes , but that would be your fault as they have different things to do every hour. I would like to add that it is a very nice, first class, environment.

Care services - through outside agency's that have presence at BP. Everyone is friendly. When I speak to the residents, they all are very happy with their situation.

The staff was always helpful, compassionate, caring, and treated us like family. They all went out of their way to know our name and say hello in the halls. [name removed] and is wife [name removed] were exceptionally kind and efficient. [name removed] was very professional and helpful and kind. [name removed] took such good care of mom and her cat! Mom liked the food and was grateful and so happy that they gave her the option to eat in her apartment. They were the greatest team and we would have stayed if she had not needed more care around the clock. We would recommend this to EVERYBODY looking for independent living, no reservations!

Make sure you know exactly how comfortable the mother is on her own. Mine likes being in her own place, but does not use all the amenities. She is shy

This place is the greatest place in the world for us. This is in our minds the best place we could be in at this point in our lives. Fairly new, BLD , pool with walk in ramp, house keeping, gym, theater, 24hr sandwich- snack, soft serve ice cream, clean , friendly and well run. We are very happy here.

Everything is on the premises. Postoffice, beauty shop, gym, shopping, theater, pool table, bingo and of course, FOOD. Doctor visits and most procedures can be done onsite. X-rays, IV's physical therapy, etc. Transportation to medical appointments and fun outings. Definitely the place to be!!

I have enjoyed my time living at Stone River. The staff is very accommodating when I have requested help I suggesting minor questions. They are listeners and helpful meeting my needs. I plan to live here for many years to come.

I am very happy here. It is very nice. The people are very friendly. There is always something to do. If you want to be busy. The food is good. I would recommend it to anyone.

The facility is wonderful and located close to shopping, doctors, restaurants, etc. The staff is very considerate and professional.

Everything was good. Just not our type of place. Would recommend. We just did not like fixed meal times.

Caring staff and management lives on site. So, if you need anything or have any questions about your loved one, they can be there in minutes. St. Clair hospital is right down the street and the paramedics can be there within 5 to 10 minutes.

River Valley is a great place for people to come, live, and enjoy. The people are very friendly, and I was made to feel welcome the first day I arrived. I have been at River Valley a year now. I have made a lot of new friends and this has been easy to do. There is a lot to choose from in terms of things to do--from Bingo and Scrabble and other games, to movies, trips to local stores and nearby entertainment, and programs where entertainment and interesting lectures come to River Valley as well. The rooms are quite spacious, compared to other retirement complexes I visited. And the food is good as well. I couldn't be happier, frankly.

[name removed] at the front desk is an amazing helpful person. The community is located near grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and medical doctors. The one-bedroom is very spacious. The first floor has tall ceilings. The bathroom should have been designed closer to the bedroom. Amenities are great. The food is average.

I have a wonderful apartment. Also, great neighbors and friends. I feel like I picked up my little house and set it in my apartment at Stone River ! It was a good decision to come here. I would recommend it to anyone.

The management there is fantastic! Their completely separate Endeavor program (for when help is needed) is excellent, flexible and affordable. They allow you to enjoy independent living, and if you need some assistance, you can book help for as little as 15mins whenever you need it. The building and grounds are Beautiful, and everyone loves to come visit!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Residents are all welcoming and watch out for each other. Great food and plenty of diverse activities. Something for everyone. Great response and aid from the staff should a resident have an issue.
