Staff is always knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to follow up with any concerns. Very clean.

My mom has lived in the community for nearly 5 years. I feel she receives good care, from kind people. I feel there has been much improvement in communication and services over the past year. I would recommend Wells Point Lodge to any friends looking for a place for their loved one to stay. Because there is always room for improvement, I give WPL 4 stars.

I've been told that this is an usual great place to have a "home" away from home. I have experienced this myself for almost 2 years. My husband and I have been treated well the food is great and activities are food. No place is perfect, but they are trying.

It seems to have gotten a lot better. Changing ours to Wells Pt. Lodge. The staff seems happier. The activities director is the absolute BEST! Always has something fun for the residents. She posts pics on FB so family can see what is going on. We like having family council meetings. It keeps us in the loop on all happening around the lodge.

While looking at numerous places for my loved one, this facility came pretty close in my top choices. While we toured the facility, the apartments here seem to have more room for your money which should appeal to others. The facility itself is really good and homey as well.

As a guest and use the ladies room by the bingo community area, the bathroom is out of order too frequently. My father complains of too much chicken on the menu. The staff and caregivers are friendly and loving toward our father and to me and sister.

I am comfortable here. I feel safe and at home. It is a very friendly place.

Weekends are not good. (Anonymous Name) has a hard time getting baths. Good place to live and it is very safe.

We had a nice tour of this community. Everyone was very kind to my family, and I. The community was well-kept from what we saw. The staff we met was helpful, and our questions were answered overall. It was a good experience, but unfortunately this was not the one for my aunt, and her needs.

I think this is a great community, and I'am satisfied with my fathers move to this community. I know he is safe, and in good hand overall. They have a great staff at this facility. They have been supportive, and they are very in tune with their residents. When I visit the community, and his room are well maintained. The meals look fantastic, and they offer good activities for the residents. This is a community I would recommend to my friends, it is nice facility.

I highly recommend the Ashwood Court, and already have, because it is a great place. What I like the most is that each staff member does not have one job, they all share tasks and take very good care of my father. When I go visit, they all tell me he's doing good and check in on him when needed. The community, as well as the room he is in, are kept very clean and organized. The meals are very good.

Ashwood court. The staff is not attentive as we would like. The community seems to be alittle dark inside. I did not see activities for others to participate. The staff was nice and friendly and answered all of my questions. They do offer assistance with financial care.

Clean well lit facility. Staff very pleasant and easy to work with. Location is close to our home so visiting dad is convenient

Things are going okay. My Mom is kind of having a hard time with her roommate right now. I am going to give the administrative staff a little time to see how they handle the situation, so we will see how things work out.

Ashwood had good reviews online and seemed clean & tidy, but it was approx. $3,000/mo., roughly $1000/yr. more expensive overall than the other location that I toured. The advantage of Ashwood would be the size room & private bath. However, if Margie needed help bathing or diapering, it is unaffordable. The rates are much higher than when my mother was last there in Dec. 2010; it is now $600/mo for diapering & $1200 if the person were to need all three meds, bathing/dressing, & diapering.

Trash is often left in the hallways, and I've noticed food on the dining room floor. Sometimes my mom's needs don't seem to be communicated very effectively internally between the staff. However, we are relatively new to the community and we have seen some improvement so far,

They did a great job with my loved one and making him feel welcomed when he arrived at the facility. They go out of their way to make sure he is in the activities and participating because it has been a challenging transition.

Overall I think they do an excellent job at Heatherwilde Assisted Living. The facility is clean and well kept, and the people who work here seem friendly and professional for the most part. I've had a few issues with their medication service, which isn't as reliable as I'd hoped, but generally it has been a good experience.
