One thing that is a positive is the email explaining their safety and procedures for the hurricane coming. Also, they made a personal call to verify [name removed] would be staying here. As I arrived today, I could see preparations under way for the upcoming hurricane. Makes all the family feel less anxious! One thing that was a negative when [name removed] first moved in was the staff was always assigned different residents instead of [name removed] always having the same few. It took extra time for them to get to know [name removed] and her needs. It caused a few problems for the first few months. Now, that she has been a resident for a while, this is a positive. All the workers at the facility (whoever sees her and wherever they see her) know her and her situation. So, the negative became a positive!! I would have future residents ask about the wait time when the residents push their button for help. Providence was very honest about it. Sometime quickly but other times can take a few minutes. I feel no other facility would do better with this!

5 on everything! Providence Living is a great facility and the staff members there are great...I would highly recommend Providence at Hunters Creek community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

It has been a nice place for us I would say it's a very nice and friendly place to live.

The toilet paper/paper towels/trashbags etc is not included in rent. I think it should be. The sales guy we initially met with was great. It is a very clean facility. I would recommend Sonata.

After mom being there a year we feel confident that she is being well taken care of. She's not an easy person to please at times but they all have smiles and warm greetings when they see her and us. Primarily we choose it for location but also for how the surroundings were kept up and the people who work there attitudes and demeanor. They are always pleasant.

The staff is great. They call me and keep me informed. The place is very clean. The move in process was simple and easy.

When it comes to the meals and dining service, the service and the time you have to wait to place an order which is one and half hour more than once has happen. 30 minutes or more most of the time.

Our families with Ambiance at Maitland review

After looking at several different memory care facilities, I decided on Ambiance of Maitland for my mother who has dementia. Transitioning mom from her home of 42 years into a long term facility has truly been the most difficult decision of my life. Everyone at Ambiance (management, staff and maintenance, etc.), have shown care, comfort and kindness to me and my mother. [name removed] has been a huge help in this transition. Her professionalism, and knowledge of memory care has been outstanding. I know now I definitely made a good choice in choosing Ambiance of Maitland.

Tessera is all fives. They have been great!!! Mom desperately needed 24 hour a day care and Tessera has provided that. Cost is only about 20% of what it would have been in her home.

My mother is currently a resident at Sonata Hunter's Creek and most everything has been great for her at this facility so far. The only complaint has been the food. The quality and variety are not great, according to my mother. It's a lot of common frozen food that changes very little, especially considering a legitimate chef is in charge of the kitchen. Plus the facility is very understaffed for the dining room. There are usually only one or two servers for the entire dining hall. The meals take an average of two hours to complete because of the slow service. Because eating is usually the highlight of an elderly persons day, this should be corrected because everything else at Sonata Hunter's Creek is excellent.

Our loved one was only at Sonata Hunter's Creek community for 2 weeks for respite care, however she was on the memory care side for two weeks and the staff members working there were very good.

Our family had an in person tour experience with Sonata Hunter's Creek and the facility was a 5/5. We were able to see people doing crafts in the care wing and they looked happy.

My mother is at Providence and the experience has been nothing but positive. I was worried about transitioning my mother into a new facility because of her Alzheimers, but Providence made the transition so easy for her and I. My mother is thriving there, she finds purpose now everyday! The activities are engaging and well thought out, the premises are beautiful and the rooms are very spacious! All of the staff there have been patient, kind and nurturing. An Alzheimer’s diagnosis is scary but Providence helps my family understand this journey we are on & provides top notch care for their residents. My mother is happy, and not just looked after, she is truly cared for. She is safe, engaged, smiling again & finding joy. I wholeheartedly with confidence recommend Providence for those suffering from dementia related conditions. They are what all memory care facilities should strive to be like.

Very happy with Tessera of Brandon and would highly recommend. They are very accommodating. Very clean, staff friendly, meals are delicious. Dad has adjusted well. Also I want to thank [name removed] for all the help. He was great

We are very pleased. They are always willing to take time for us with questions etc. It is a well kept up facility, staff is friendly and quickly get to know you and your family. Everything your loved one could want or need is right there.

I really liked Sonata Hunter's Creek, it was a toss up between this facility and the one we ended up going with, we left the decision up to our loved one. The tour guide was FANTSATIC. He was so easy to talk to, thorough with his information answered all of my questions. I could tell that the residents there all looked very happy and well taken care of.

I would rate all categories a 5 except maybe Activities. I would give them a 4. But they are working on that. Like today they have alpacas visiting! They have music every week. Lots of Bingo unfortunately my Mom is not a bingo player yet. Lol There's a new Director and she is awesome [name removed]. Receptionists are wonderful. ALL the staff are very friendly, helpful. Residents all seem happy. Lots of hellos & smiles. Med techs are fantastic and very kind. Kitchen are very willing to help with menus & special diet my Mom has. They are very accommodating & willing to make anything better. We are very pleased. This is Mom's second apt. Pulled her out of [community name removed] after 5 months, unfriendly staff & no help in the kitchen. Food was awful.

We picked this community because it looked the best. They can improve the care services by adding more people.

They're maybe a little understaffed for the number of customers they have, but the staff that is there are good. And the facility is the best.
