[name removed] was also very helpful and understanding of my situation. Elmcroft is a smaller facility and has a more homely appeal. The room I was able to tour was a very nice size. The facility was also very clean and the residents happy.

Poet’s Walk is outstanding! My Mother has been here for about 8 months and I could not be happier about the care she is getting. My Mother has Lewy Body Dementia and the entire staff is highly trained on how best to interact and care for her as well as the other residents with different dementias and Alzheimer’s. Everyone there is warm and caring to my Mother. And I mean everyone; whether they are a nurse, personal care assistant, front staff, cook, hairdresser or housekeeper, they treat her with warmth and caring and always make her smile. They know that each memory care patient has different needs and have their own program to help identify and tend to those needs (for example, who needs a hug, who needs some structure, who needs some music, etc.). I also like that they have a “Family Ambassador” which is someone you can contact with any questions, concerns, information, etc. and you can be sure they will coordinate with everyone else on staff. I have also been extremely happy with the nurses who communicate a lot with me and let me know if there are any changes or concerns with my Mother. There are also lots and lots of activities; when I go to visit my Mom, just about every resident is in the central living area doing activities, watching old movies, or just visiting. While they all have there own nice apartment/room, most of the time they are all in the central living area enjoying themselves. There are many, many more positive things I could say about Poets Walk and I am so happy that I chose this place for my Mom!

Excellent facility. 42 rooms. Intimate, home/family atmosphere. "Age-in-place" environment...no moving from one section to another as residents' needs change with aging. Minimal respite care... mostly LTC.

My aunt has been here for a little over 2 years. The staff at Elmcroft is amazing, caring and professional. The place is very well run. It is immaculate. I appreciate how everyone at Elmcroft takes care of my aunt.

Loved this facility. It offered everything we hoped for. The financial part is something we had no idea about. We will check to see if we can make this financially affordable.

My mom lived here for 15 years until she was almost 100 yrs old. She loved having her own 2 bedroom apartment where my sisters could come visit often yet stay in a separate room. Mom liked to make morning coffee & toast in her apartment then go to the dining room for all her meals and to see her many friends. The staff is friendly and loving and treated my mom like she was THEIR own family. This is a beautiful well kept building - very safe and secure. There are lots of activities if one wants to participate.

My mom lives in the independent section at this time. It is such a comfort to know that if 24 hour care is needed she doesn't have to leave this facility. It is a beautiful, clean facility with many amenities. The staff is wonderful. They are all very compassionate and caring. I highly recommend Tanglewood to all. When my mom moved there 2 years ago she was having a hard time adjusting. Everyone went out of their way to make her feel at home. Now it's home and someplace she loves.

We went on our scheduled tour of the facility today. "[Removed]" showed us a couple of options for my grandmother. We filled out the paperwork and got approved. The facility is very nice, well-maintained, and clean. They had games going on for the residents and I watched them try to get as many people to participate that came by (it was a beanbag toss game for which they toss a beanbag into laundry baskets, then, if you scored any bags in the baskets, you got to go to the 2nd floor to try from there to get it in the basket that was still on the 1st floor! It looked like fun!!). They all were having so much fun, smiling, and laughing. [Removed] set us up (there were three of us looking at the facility for my grandmother) a free lunch where a resident who lives there ate with us to answer our questions. Very nice experience. They were not pushy at all which I appreciated. They were very kind and were well accommodating to everything we asked. (Oh, the food was REALLY good!)

My Mom seems to be doing very well here. She had a hard time at first, but they were very patient with her and worked with her to make sure she’s settled and content. I’ve had lunch there a couple of times and the food is very good and nutritional. The facility is kept up with very well cleanliness wise and housekeeping comes by her room once a week to vacuum and clean the bathroom. They have a lot of activities going on during the day like bingo, games, outings, and sometimes they’ll have speakers come by to talk with the residents. They even plan parties for the holidays! I definitely recommend this place.

My mom lived here for about a year and it went well. Her needs ultimately changed so we moved her to a different facility but the staff was wonderful during her stay. I tried the food a couple of times, and sometimes it seemed a bit too fancy, but overall it was good. There were a few activities they provided for the residents like crafts, musical entertainment, and Worship entertainment. The building was kept pretty clean, I never had any issues with that. They really did a lot of good for my Mom, I would recommend them.

I toured the place with my husband. I loved it and can think of nothing better for the price, even those I looked at that were more expensive were not as nice as this place. It was beautiful, well-located, and the staff seemed to be willing to provide for one's every need. Of all the places I looked at, this is the tops, and first on my list.

The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions about the facility. I’m hoping to see you again in the future.

I love the place I live in. The entertainers are great and I love the food here.

I’m an activities director at another community. I’m also friends with the activities director of the Crossings. We are always exchanging ideas. I toured the place once and it was cleaned and staff was very friendly.

I volunteer here once a week. I love calling Bingo and spending time with such happy folks.

I enjoy all the activities. The maintenance the one of the hard worker.

I ran into some residents in the bowling Alley. This was what brought me into the place. I just love the interaction between the staff and residents. Now I’m hoping that my sister-in-law loves the place when she comes from California to tour the facility.

My mom lives here. She’s very happy. She loves especially how the maintenance group keeps the facility clean. If something breaks they try to fix it right away. She also likes Happy Hour. Although she doesn’t like to join other activities she finds them very interesting.

My Mother has lived here for 7 years. We have been very happy in all aspects.
