The staff is excellent and helpful. The dining room is well organized and meals of service enjoyable. Games and entertainment excellent - also bus service, medical help, apartments well cleaned. I'm lucky to be here and have no complaints!

This home exceeds my expectations in every way. It is very safe, clean, comfortable, friendly and appealing. Most of this is because of the very excellent staff. They are all kind, efficient and present. It is very smart to have them have open office doors and to pour coffee at the fine meals. It means constant contact with the entire house. They create a warm, consistent atmosphere. All residents know what to expect. It fills us to be helpful to others, participate in activities and stay as well as possible. We feel like family!

After my husband passed away, I stayed in my home another year. This was not good as I was eating alone and watching TV or working crossword puzzles. Here at Venetian Gardens where I have made lots of friends and can have them to eat my meals with. I'm always playing cards or attending exercise classes. We have nice entertainments. By the way in two more months I will have lived here 10 years. Time has flown by, I'm contented.

We are so glad we chose Elmcroft. It was literally the best decision we could have made. The former facility where the parents had been had a major change in staffing, all the way from the top down and the care went downhill considerably. After 3 years at the former facility and both parents almost dying due to lack of adequate assisted living care we had no choice but to look for another facility. We toured 2 other facilities and neither worked, for various reasons. Elmcroft is the perfect size, about 48 residents max. Staff ratio is 2 med techs to each wing (2 wings), a supervising LPN. It is all one floor going in a circle so no one can get lost. No stairs or elevators like the other facility which was a major problem. Everyone, and I mean everyone from the executive director on down has been fabulous since day 1. No problem is too big or too small to handle. Staff communication is wonderful, phone calls, emails and no unwelcome surprises like we had elsewhere where there was no communication. There is no dementia unit here at this point and no skilled nursing but if you are simply interested in assisted living with meds given by the staff and wonderful food, activities, residents and staff this is the place for you.

Elmcroft is a first rate place to live. My sister raved about the food and the staff. The rooms and all the surroundings were beautiful. The staff was ever so thoughtful as we dealt with a difficult situation. My only regret is that my sister didn't get to enjoy the facility for very long.

[Name removed] did a wonderful job of taking us through the facility. Met with and had lunch with an ambassador couple who gave us a complete run down of the facility.

Director gave me a tour. Love this place too! Very warm & friendly. Even have music events here. My loved one would thoroughly enjoy that! Chef is very flexible and can accommodate unusual requests for residents. Hard to choose between this one and Paramount. Both are excellent.

This is the facility I chose. I was most impressed with the amount of time they spent with me. How prepared they were for my visit. They answered all my questions, they were up front and did a great job making me feel that [name removed] would be safe in their care.

Poets Walk has taken care of our Uncle until his passing last week. He was in independent living until mini strokes robbed him of his abilities to talk and communicate, a lot of his memory and ability take care of himself. We had nurses seeing hime 2x day but after a while he was too much of a fall risk hence the move to Poet's where he had 24 hr care available for his rehab and safety. The staff and rehab people kept trying to work with him until it was necessary to turn him over to Hospice care 5 months later. Hospice came in and worked the entire time with Poet's team to make sure that his last days there were comfortable as possible. They all took the heavy burden of worry off our shoulders so all we needed to do was visit with him and know that they were at first working with him so he was safe getting around, using his walker, eating well and being with others. When the time came, they all kept him comfortable. and attended to him and his hospice nurse was at his side when he passed. Thank you to all of you who cared for Al, he was a fine gentleman who lived his life well thanks to you.

Very pleased with Brookdale. The staff is very nice and caring. I’m thankful that they don’t over react with my Dad which helps me because he tends to do that. I can call them and they will go and calm him down so I don’t have to go up there at 6 am. They have worked with us and his pharmacy benefits so he’s able too keep our cost as low as possible. They have allowed me to plant his flowers and just treat us with dignity.

Workable. Will visit again and check out activities and dining Folks were very friendly. Had lovely outside areas for setting.

Living here is like living in a Classy Hotel. Plenty of TLC. When Management steps in to help when shorthanded, you know they have your best interest at heart.

I have nothing to add. So far so good for my mother.
