I liked the environment at another community better than this one and the staff that were there.

Our family had an in person tour and it was nice but it was just to expensive

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff is really good. The caregivers seem very caring and responsive to my loved one's needs. My loved one seems happy here. Some of the activities have been scaled back due to the pandemic. [name removed] is phenomal and she has the residents involved in activities, and makes my loved one feel special.

This seems to be a good place. They have been short staffed since my loved one moved in here. Bingo, outside entertainment and more are some of the activities available for the residents to participate in.

Our family had a virtual tour and everyone we spoke with was very responsive, we had no complaints.

It's been a good experience. Staffing has been an issue due to Covid. They've had some challenges with the director, just a lack of communication upfront. But I think most of the staff is very supportive. Repeatedly, they've lost clothes in the laundry process. But all in all, it's been really good experience.

Our family had an in person tour and our first impression right away was that it is old and needs some updating. The rooms were dark and kind of old but they did have a full sized refrigerator and a little bit more of a usable kitchen then other communities we saw.

I would tell others to be very sure when you place your loved one that you get a good evaluation. They do not have a high tolerance for behavior issues and were quick to send my husband away and they asked us to move. The community fee was very steep. Since they asked us to move, I thought that should be partially refunded. The cleaning fee was also 3 full days of rent. It was a very expensive short stay. I do wish they would have given him more time to settle in because it is a lovely facility and everyone was very nice.

We chose Benton House of Blue Springs because of the friendliness of the staff members, the facility itself is beautiful, and her room looks out into a courtyard. Her bathroom is very open so if she ever needs a wheelchair there will be plenty of space for that. Staff here are very caring and attentive. I do think that they be more encouraging to residents to participate in activities and they could provide a better variety of things to do. Their shuttle service is $50 even for in town appointments and I think that is a little steep, we figured that would be included in the rent. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

I would recommend the community to other for their loved ones. The administration, cleanliness, and being well maintained are all things that stand out to me about the community. They have activities available for the residents to participate in.

Benton House is such a beautiful homey community, and it is extremely clean. The physical appearance right when you walk in is so warm and welcoming, everything is beautifully decorated. The community is modern, but not to modern for the elderly residents. There is a nice big piano in the front. The staff is very friendly, only one small complaint our loved one has is that some of the lower level staff do not have the sensitivity training, so they don't ask the residents how they would like to be addressed when spoken to. The meals initially were great, but now our loved one isn't the biggest fan. Our loved one does have a nice sized apartment with a pretty full sized refrigerator and freezer so we are able to get our loved one food so she has different options. Also, Benton House is all on one level so its very easily accessible for residents who may have walkers and wheelchairs.

Our family was able to have an in person tour, but that the time the community was on a pretty strict lock down. They did however open up the balcony doors so we can peak inside and see some of the rooms

The facility was clean and clear of any odors. [name removed] and all of the staff we encountered on the tour were friendly. The location is perfect! I believe this is the one!

We chose Benton House because they were taking new residents during covid and it was close to our home. The room sizes here are small compared to others. I do not get to go inside but I would recommend them to others looking.

[name removed] was very nice and sent me lots of information. She will be calling me again today. This place is very nice but not sure we can make his finances work.

We chose Benton House of Covington because of the feel we got when we walked in, it felt very homey and non-institutional. The room sizes here are good size. I have eaten here and the food is great, they serve is restaurant style and it if chef prepared from a menu with choicfes. I would say my favorite part about the community so far has been the availability of the staff members when you have questions or concerns. I would recommend.

We chose Benton House of Newnan Lakes because when my grandma toured here she liked it and didn't want to look at any others. I would want others to know when looking into the facility that to me they give good care, but it is not excellent for what they are charging. There has been a lot of miscommunication since COVID as well. Overall, I would still recommend as long as you don't mind the price tag.

Really nice, new facility and good sized rooms. No exercise room at this time.

mom loved this facility. she can have her dog there. it is however too far being about 40 miles

Benton House was a very nice facility with spacious accommodations and all the support facilities I expected to find. The drawback was the requirement than hospice care could not be continued to the end of life at this facility. They required the patient be moved to a nursing home if they become unable to ambulate on their own. That provision defeats the whole purpose in spending the extra money to provide a high quality of life for the terminally ill patient to the end of life.
