Prestige Care

Prestige Huntington Terrace is excellent. It's an elderly community, and the activities and everything else are related to the age of the people who live here, as you would expect. Everything is as advertised. The staff are very helpful. Regarding cleanliness, you could not demand more. The food is good, what you would expect for this type of place - nothing grand, but it's healthy, tasty, and well presented.

In the early part of December, I spent 2 weeks at Prestige. We worked primarily with Prestige’s superb marketing director who allayed any of my anxiety. She took responsibility for setting up my room to be perfect for me. Everything was just the way that I needed it to be. I was able to have my small dog, Lizzie. (This made a huge difference for me.) All of the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. This extended throughout my stay. It was very clear that the staff was there for the residents. I saw ongoing acts of consideration and kindness. Prestige felt like a huge extended family. There were plenty of group activities in which the residents were free to participate, or not. A big bonus for me was having places to walk. The area is lovely and very peaceful. While at Prestige, I was in good health, had good balance (a major issue of mine) and plenty of energy. I personally am very grateful for Prestige. And I see it as a real asset to Corvallis.

We had kind of a different situation. My loved one has dementia, and we decided to give assisted living at Prestige a try. Prestige was on board with that - we were very open with them about it, and we all mutually agreed it should work out. But then once we moved him in, he fought the whole process and regressed. And they're not really set up for that. It just wasn't the right setting for him, which is no fault of theirs. He needed to be in a locked facility. But in the time that we were there, the staff were very concerned and did their best. And the assisted living residents without the dementia challenges my loved one was facing seemed happy there.

This is just a nice clean and friendly community that I would for sure recommend. I also have other family that states they The staff so far have all been great with me and my loved one, they are also very helpful. The tour at this community was great and the guide was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. They also had good follow up after the tour. We are happy to be with this community.

It has been a good, positive experience. The only frustration is when they go on quarantine because staff or residents are Covid positive. But the staff are really friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help my loved one. And I find the apartments to be very nice and clean.

I like living here. I enjoy getting new puzzles, popcorn and candy. Workers do a wonderful job. I like the nice staff.

Workers at the facility are approachable, happy to meet clinicians that come by at the front desk and RN office. Workers seem to be happy and like their respective roles.

My mother is very happy living here. She likes the staff and the food. The staff keep us informed about how she is doing and are very friendly. We feel very lucky to have found this place for our mom.

The Christmas decorations are top notch. The spirit is so festive and is contagious. I'm in many facilities as a hospice nurse, and Southern Hills staff and themed decorations are always top notch. The residents really enjoy it.

My father has been a resident of this community for one and a half years. He is always talking about how much he loves the staff. He says they treat him well and he feels well cared for. He smiles when they come into his room and when he passes them in the hallway or dining room. As a family member, I am kept updated on their observations and assessment of his needs. As family members, we are treated with respect and encouraged to visit and ask questions. They managed the necessary COVID-19 restrictions very well, and though there were long periods when we could not visit indoors, they did a great job of accommodating us outdoors, or through a window when the restrictions were at their tightest. There are a wide variety of classes and activities for residents run by caring and competent staff. I would highly recommend this community.

It was a great tour. The facility itself is a little older and not as fancy as some others we saw. The staff were all very friendly and answered all of my questions. They are a facility that takes Medicaid.

We really loved our tour with Huntington Terrace. The staff we interacted with were great. We are back to looking for our loved one as he needs more care, so we will be back for another visit soon!

As a first time experience helping a parent Transition to their next steps in life, Prestige Riverwood and their staff was a God sent. Look into this facility as part of the placement process of a loved one, the bar is high as it should be for a family member.

The community is a perfectly suited for me. I would rate the staff at 10, they are caring professional, and immediately at my needs. Everything here has been done to suit my needs. There are many activities available for the residents. There is a strong emphasis on health and fitness at this community. I'm 100% satisified.

We chose this facility because of the amount of care he was able to get here, they had everything here he needed to get better. They have been very good with communication throughout covid. My father loves the staff here and he is very happy with the food. this We have had a very good experience with Prestige Senior Living Riverwood. I would recommend them to others looking.

This past week they have started to allow us back into the community. The food has been being delivered to the resident's rooms. They are starting to reopen the dining room. It is a good option for both personal and financially reasons. They only have 2 year private pay before Medicaid. I would like to see some updates of the community; however, to my understanding they will be making changes. The windows are hard to get up and down for our window visits.

My Mom is able to have an active and interactive life and home base at this facility.

I am not sure what we would have done with out Prestige. They made room for my Dad when we couldn't find anywhere for him a few years ago. He could not longer take care of himself at his retirement home and shortly after the passing of my Mom I was staying with him and caring for him while also working full time. Prestige took us under their wing and helped us make sure our Dad was safe. He had to live in another town for awhile and then as soon as we could he was moved close to us in Corvallis. Since then, we have been blessed to know he is in good hands. Since the COVID lock down it has been very hard. Prestige employees have been working hard to make sure our Dad has what he needs and is safe. As a nurse, I know that being a care giver is challenging and things aren't always perfect. I still know that my Dad is in a place that cares, regardless of these trying times. The Director [name removed] is so kind and caring also! I would highly reccomend this place for a family member.

Our virtual tour with the facility representative was great. The concept of "resident through end of life" as one of the biggest positives to the environment. The move in fees were a little higher than our first choice, but in our decision process, they made it to the final round.

The folks at this facility are excellent, professional, warm, and caring! As my father's memory issues began to become a problem, the staff here were understanding, patient, and knew how to work with his limitations. I found everyone who works here to be trustworthy, kind and wonderful people. I recommend this facility enthusiastically.
