We have a litigation going on with them. My mother has dementia and paranoia. They took her to get her drivers license. They took my mother to an attorney and took over power of attorney and said I was abusing her. This place is horrible and I suggest you put a red flag on this place.

I waited 25min before I was toured. The place has a strong odor. I was greeted later by Ms. Wise. The place is more than an assisted living. As I was waiting one resident kept getting out of the building. This was not a safe feeling for me. The atmosphere was not warm and inviting. I want my mother to feel safe and secure. Touring the facility seems like the facility is more like a nursing home. One resident was walking around soaking wet the time I was there. Before I left I wanted to know the name of the Lady sitting in the office. I was told it was the Administrator. The Administrator actually let me wait 25 min on someone else to tour me. I was not happy with this place. I went to Lexington Gardens and felt that warm feeling. I was introduced to staff and they all were smiling and friendly. The Administrator gave me a tour and the entire staff was helping residents. This is what I needed to see and made my decision easier.

Did not seem interested in having my father as a patient. Gave me 15 minutes and was not expecting me today. Told me no need to go to CVII as it would not be a good fit for us. Patients parked in the hallways. This is an absolute no for us.

If your loved one is going into memory care and has any issues at all, even the smallest little issue, they will call an ambulance and send them right off to the hospital. They want their memory care people to walk around and sit in a rocking chair and not cause any kind of behavior. Any behavior at all, and they send them right out. And then they charge you while your loved one is in the hospital for over a month. After being back from the hospital for an hour and fifteen minutes, they then kicked him out. The day-to-day staff was pretty good, but the director was terrible. The facility was clean. But their utter lack of understanding and ability to deal with dementia behaviors has been completely damaging to our family. This is not a good place for memory care, and I wouldn't want anyone to go through what we went through there.

Do not go to this facility, it is owned by Navion and they do not care about the residents, only about the money.

My brother needed physical therapy after a stay in the hospital. Rivercrest was available. He was there two weeks. Because we could not visit, there was no accountability. No one was assigned to report his condition. Good clothing was left and they said they would put name on them. He was discharged with someone else’s cloths. All his disappeared. Contact to determine progress was impossible. Appears his hair never washed and teeth not brushed according to dentist.

My mother was put in a filthy room with a toilet that did work. There were cockroaches and mold. They left her in the hall way for hours and ignored her. They have a terrible reputation and have numerous citations from the health department and medicare violations. Staff would get angry when she was in need of something and generally ignored her. Do not put your loved ones here.

Obvious to everyone but management, there is a management problem. I have experienced many of them lying about what they have done or the times they do it with my mother. They barely staff, in visiting everyday, they make all employees serve meals from janitor to house keeper and it still takes forever. Halls and laundry rooms are always lent filled Upper management seems tight, althoughI have witnessed them repeatedly being negative about different employees, each other and residents. The RA s as a whole experience very little personality. I have discovered it is cheaper to hire a sitter to give medicines and pay the independent level. I have never experience anything positive from my interactions with the resident nurse. There is a constant turnover in staffing. If no one is in the office or answers your buzz, check the smoking place. I have met only one worker who is a CNA, but they still let them all lift and give medicines. As I walk down the hall, I see empty rooms. I don't want to write my full name for fear the immature staff will take it out on my mom.
