They've been there one month. I think a solid 4 across the board... So far. Friendly residents. Kind staff. Daily activities. Copperfield Hill is a unique and pretty building. I am glad they have medical care available onsite: primary care and nursing.

[name removed] in sales, [name removed] in services nursing/assistance/maintenance, have both been very good. [name removed] , who manages the place day to day, redid our POA and [name removed] , who runs activities, are wonderful! all good except the toilet problems, which will now hopefully be resolved when it's replaced.

I would've given it a five across the board, but they could really need some help with the painting of the common areas. It's looking dirty old outdated, and the cleanliness of vacuuming could be done more. (staff is wonderful).It's a great experience for my mother to live. There could use some TLC as far as painting and cleaning of carpet. Otherwise, it's a fantastic place.

I like the layout of the facility- there is a common area on the second floor that others can see from the balconies above the common area (the residents have meals in the common area, and play bingo or gather for other activities in the common area). There are chairs set up on the balconies for residents to look down on what is happening on the second floor. I found the nursing staff to be kind and receptive to our questions as family members, and pretty accessible when I had a question or a concern.

It's a great place and we love it. There's fancier places, but for the cost it's incredible.

I would recommend to others.

We picked this community because of the location, size of apartment and that it has a full kitchen. I would recommend to others.

Friendly staff, receptive to my concerns and feedback. The assisted living yes, the memory care side is very small and depressing . Staff are helpful and nice, but not all experienced with my dad's needs with colostomy and prosthetic leg.

Very friendly intake staff and activities looked great. And they took elderly waiver. I would say that it is a great place. Our only concern is that the activities director for the memory care unit has been on leave since my aunt arrived there which has been tough.

I am so glad I choose this one after searching in Austin and the WoodburyMaplewwod, MN area. What a great community! This place is close to the downtown area as well as the public library, a new out-of-this-world YMCA, and the Mower County senior center. The Cedars offers transportation to such areas if you don't have a car. There is heated underground parking if you do have a car. There are many activities to choose from at Cedars itself. Austin, also, has an inexpensive great bus service. Rochester and Albert Lea are 30 - 50 minutes away. There is a Walmart, HyVee, and Dollar Store but otherwise, the shopping is somewhat limited.

What stood out to me about this facility is the family oriented community. The service staff are friendly as well as dedicated to the welfare of the residents. They have a variety of activities for the residents at this facility. I would most definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

She is doing great at Copperfield Hill. The staff is very helpful. The residents there all love it and seem to be really happy. It is a very nice and open community The apartments are great size, the only complaint is the door going in is a bit rattly. Also the carpeting in the living room is hard to get around if you have a walker - hard wood floors would make it easier. I would definitely recommend Copperfield Hill to others.

Tour seemed to go lovely but mom wasn't having it she just doesn't want to be in a home.

My loved one's room was really dusty. They aren't seeming to take care of my loved one's room like it should be. Otherwise, he likes the food. He has made friends. He really enjoys it. They have a lot to offer as far as activities. Some of the things they have is a tavern. He has made friends just having that option to socialize. So far we think it is going really well. He seems to be really happy and they are taking good care of him. They found my mothers missing wedding ring and called us to let us know. That was peace of mind, you can't put a label on. Honesty at its finest.

I would give this community serious consideration again. The staff is great and make you feel at home. Wine and Cheese, movies, social events, and more for the residents to choose from for activities. My loved one likes the food and it is served hot. They do have the option of to go boxes to take to your room.

We've had a mixed experience due to the whole Covid situation. It's been a difficult transition because of that. I think they're doing the best they can under the current restrictions. There are times where I've called and have not been able to reach someone right away. But they did get back to me, not always as quickly as I would like. It's just a difficult time right now. But I would recommend the community. I think they do a very nice job. They're very caring individuals, and there are people on the staff who tell me they love my family members and that they care about them greatly and view them as friends. I'm very grateful to be connected with them, and to have a place where my family members are safe and cared for and loved.

My aides take very good care of me. One does my morning and one gives me my medicine and takes me to the restroom. The aides are good for bingo and prizes and other activities during the day, it's wonderful. I like the people in our group very much.

It is convenient and they give good care. They pay attention to the residents. The food leaves a lot to be desired. The room sizes are and layout good. They have outdoor space but not a lot of useable space. We have been disappointed that the air conditioning does not reach into the bedrooms so we have had to make alternate arrangements to keep them cool.

I've lived at Copperfield a little over a year now, It wasn't an easy decision to sell my house, but I'm glad I did. I love my 2bd apartment. I decorated just the way I wanted it. It's bright and homey. I've met some wonderful people. The staff has been accommodating and if something goes wrong, the maintenance people are right on it. Moving here was a good fit for me.

We have lived here for two years and the staff are very friendly.The kitchen meals are awesome. The cleanliness of the building is great.
