We like that they keep the communitive festive with holiday decorations - right now they have their fall decorations. However we are not allowed to see the meals our loved one eats so we do not know what they are serving, they also have activities but from what we have see it is very little. Also our loved ones clothes have gone missing so we think they could improve on internal communication, engagement and organization.

My loved one is not involved in too many activities. I picked this place because it was the only place that was availble at the time, they had an opening and my loved one got in right away. It's a safe environment, and three meals per day was an important factor for my loved ones care. Overall, they are well taken care of.

We are not sure about the activities, we do not think our loved one participate and we never saw a schedule of what activities were available. I would not recommend for a mobile, generally-healthy senior. Our loved one did not like being locked in, and he was very frustrated that he had to knock on the front door a long time before he was let in. Since he does not have dementia of any kind, this seemed like an excess of security and caused frustration for him. I know that other families may need that sort of security, so I don't mean that to be a criticism. Just not a good fit for my dad.

Cottonwood Manor is a nice small community which is something we really like

The activities are good. The need to get more enthusiastic, with those who are not mobile, so they can engage more in the activities. Overall, be there at the facility to interact with your loved one.

I toured Harvest Home & Inwood Crossing, and the person who spoke with us was very good. We chose another community because the size of their rooms would have been too small for both of my parents.

Everyone is extremely cooperative. The leadership is bad, but the people who work there are wonderful. In regards to leadership, they are inconsistent. They usually fire the good people, while keeping the bad people. They do have a variety of activities, which is what I like. They activities range from spiritual to physical and the level of quality is great as they also offer entertainment. My loved ones apartment is a studio, and its not that it isn't spacious, it's just that they never replace anything. The appliances are very old and maintenance requests are extremely timely as well. The people who work for the top people are genuinely concerned for the residents, but its just too bad that the people who run it are not.

This is an alright community. I would suggest to check places out, but this community is okay. If you have a relative that is still able to leave it is perfect, but if you have someone that wants to stay there and do things - there is not a lot of things for the residents to do in the community. They had an exercise room, but they closed it due to not enough people using it. The residents here speak with you and try to make you feel welcome.

The staff is wonderful. I cannot say enough about how friendly they are. There is a lot of vacancies right now. They are making an effort to improve on the food, but that costs money and we are concerned if they do what we want that our rent will go up. There are no balanced meals at all, it is all carbs and proteins.

My first impression was the facility seemed a little outdated. The guy who did the tour was very nice and friendly. But he was also very sales-like, and the presentation felt kind of canned and not as authentic. I did not get a good feeling there at all.

With a community I feel like you get what you pay for with my mother I felt that there was just different care needed. Nothing negative about the community at all just not the right fit for our loved one.

Pets are not allowed to reside at Rockbrook

There has been some inconsistency, sometimes when I go to visit they have me stay in the dining area and other times they will let me go back into the other areas or her room. I do not know one day or the next which it is going to be which I do not like at all. I like when things are consistent.

This community has lost a lot of staff members which we know everyone is struggling with, but the staff we have met with are very nice and very calm. The maintenance team is very quick to respond to our loved one. The meals and dining service is holding up okay, right now it is simple cooking because they recently lost their chef. They do have activities like arts and crafts, bingo, games and exercise classes. Our loved ones apartment is beautiful and she is enjoying making new friends.

If you want to live in "the wheel that squeaks gets the attention" this is the place. A complaint is assigned to someone to fix . If it isn't resolved you have to complain again; there is no follow -up by anyone other than you. As a resident; you are not informed why a task is not done. If you complain or ask; a multitude. of excuses are given

The facility is fine and the value for cost is fine, but we did have some challenges. We wish there was someone there to tell us what the expectations are regarding family members going into memory care and the different processes and levels of care with dementia residents. Also another big problem we had that led to our loved one having a fairly big medical challenge, so their juice they serve. They serve this juice almost similar to Gatorade instead of water and it has a very high level of sodium in it. The residents get water but usually if they only get it themselves, and we wish they would push for more water and less juice.

It's okay for me because I'm working. So I don't often spend a lot of time here other than for sleeping or eating. And even then, I only eat a few of the meals here throughout the week. I tend to keep to myself in my room. I like my 1-bedroom apartment. It's very nice. The bedroom and bathroom are very closely associated with each other. It's very simple to move around in it, and it's not cumbersome for me. Sometimes I feel the staff is slow to respond to requests. But there is one individual, the front clerk, who really goes out f his way when I ask for help. I wouldn't discourage anyone from looking here because the cost is very reasonable.

The grounds and building needed some assistance. They did have pleasant staff.

River Point is a very beautiful place and they do have a lot to offer for the residents there, however as far as the administration goes we would not give them high remarks and we had a major problem with one worker there that we actually pulled our loved one out due to how they were treating our loved one. The director of the center and the RN is just a joke, they do not use their resources, we had no orientation when we first moved out loved one there, and they are very disorganized. Other than the administration and that one individual all of the other workers were super super nice.

Stay away. They brought my loved one in at one rate then after getting moved in they rose the rate about 500 dollars, They have bad communication.
