Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was very nice along with the facilities but due to our loved ones health they were just not able to accommodate him being there.

This was a good tour experience for our loved one and family. The staff were very nice. Our loved one wanted to be closer to family and friends.

First, the staff never seem to be mean to staff or inconsiderate or condescending. They seem to treat them with respect. We have had challenges with over charging mom, not being easy to talk with anyone related to billing - lots of passing the buck. Getting her laundry done is very difficult. Like it doesn't get done. Initially we think mom was telling them her daughter would do so so maybe the misunderstood but we were only taking it b/c they did not for over 2 weeks. Mom says the food was better at the start but lately not. Ex. Bland soup with very mushy, overcooked noodles. I think some of it is mom but also not sure how hard they try to get those living there to get to know each other & be involved in things. Again, some of that is my mom b/c she doesn't like group things & thinks she is leaving soon so... there is that.

The staff is very patient and friendly to the residents. They're very good at communication with me as well. The food is good, and they're good about serving a fair amount of fruits and vegetables. A couple of little things - the carpets look dirty. I'm not sure if they clean them but just can't get them to look clean? Also, there doesn't' seem to be a contact person on duty at all times, which is something I've noticed other places have.

A lot changed between touring and moving our family member in. There had been some turnover - the director was gone, and so was the marketing director. But they've filled those positions, and so far we've been happy. They had promised a one-bedroom and then didn't have one available at move-in, but they were nice enough to give us a two-bedroom for the same price and then allowed her to move to a 1-bedroom that was closer to the dining room when it became available. She has Alzheimer's but is in the assisted living section, and they come to get her for meals. There's a nice PT and his assistant who give exercise classes three times a week, and they usually come by and get her for those as well. Since those initial changes, we've experienced a consistency of staff - it has been the same people day in and day out, which impresses me.

Desert Springs is an older building but it is clean and the staff members while our loved one was there was super. What we experienced the dining service was good and there were plenty of different activities for the residents to do. We thought for everything they offered the value was very good and we would recommend this community to other families.

They have activities available for the residents. My love one is always dressed/clean, and eats good. The place, and common area always looks clean. We picked this community because it was all on one level, they have secure outside areas, and they all appeared to have a good grasp on things. They could do better with, communicating any medical concerns going on with my loved one. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

McFarland Villa is a really great place. The staff were all very nice and accommodating, and they put up with my loved one. He did not want to live this far away from his friends so he moved. I would recommend this facility to others.

Good people, but usually short staffed. As far as activities, they don't offer anything for the visually impaired.

High turnover makes it difficult to coordinate care plans. They could use a few more varied activities. Overall, we have an issue with communications; These could use improvement overall Basically pretty good compared to other facilities but the communication issues, likely due to staff turnover, could definitely be improved

I am a current resident of Villa Court and have stayed over four years. The staff here is very friendly and tries to accommodate any resident to the best of their abilities. The food is very good and our chef makes sure we have well balanced meals daily.

My parents are settled in and like it there. It's a good, safe place for your loved ones. They provide a high quality of care.

It's a small facility and friendly community. They respond quickly to questions and concerns when we contact them. Issues have been minor.

This experience has been good for my loved one family. I do have a concern about the amount of staff they have, since they seem short. However, all the communities are experiencing this change. There are three meals a day served to the residents. It would be nice to see more fresh fruit available for the residents. There are activities available for the residents to engage with if they choose to.

I toured this community and it was good. It's an older facility, but very clean. The staff was all friendly. I just felt like the unit was too far away from the main area. Staff wouldn't have been as accessible to mom's unit as I preferred, so we chose to keep looking.

This facility is full of loving caring staff they cater to their residents I am great full for everyone there I have peace of mind knowing my dad is in good hands
