We visited a few Assisted living facilities before choosing Desert View. Not a big fan of SALESMEN, which all facilities have.....but this place has a guy named [name removed] that treats you like family. No push to impress, rather he looks for a good fit. Quality care is their goal here and so far I have seen that exemplified by many staff members. Minor problems are addressed and resolved expediently. Other residents are quick to make newcomers fit in. I think this is going to be a great fit for my man and I am anxious to see him thrive, which will also take some burden off me. Check them out!!

After a truly troubling experience with another assisted living facility I took a recommendation to check out Veranda at Barber Station and what a difference! The staff is singularly chosen for their heart, skills and caring and they are all about their residents. The location is ideal along the greenbelt in the very up-and-coming Warm Springs area and only several blocks to Marianne Williams Park. Each apartment is beautiful and the whole place is brand new. From the homemade meals that use fresh veggies and herbs served at linen covered tables, to activities that are designed to keep us learning and living, not keep us busy, the only thing I would change about Veranda is the time it took for me to find it!

Mountain Terrace feels like home. My grandma lives here, and the facility is adorable with a warm atmosphere. My grandma loves all of the activities and is having so much fun trying new things... if she feels like it! She has wonderful relationships with the staff, and I feel confident her needs are being met. I love visiting her all the time and am always so impressed with how nice and helpful the staff is. I'm so happy that we found this place!

My mother has received excellent care at Cambridge Square. The first week she received all the care promised and she continues to receive great care. The staff is caring, kind, and knowledgeable. The director is always available and is well known and liked by clients and families. The facility and my mother’s room is always clean. My mother is happy and is flourishing at Cambridge. They keep her active and involved. I go to the center on different days and times, and I call. My family is involve with Mom’s care and they are delighted with her care. Cambridge Square has been a true blessing for me and my family. We know she is safe, happy, and well cared for.

Love this place! My mother has received excellent care from compassionate staff. The director is always available and is well known in the facility. My mother is flourishing in this place! She has received the medical care from doctors who come to the site. The facility and my mother’s room are clean. I walk in any time on any day and I see the same consistent, compassionate care. My mother is happy and enjoys the activities offered. I have peace of mind that she is well cared for and happy! ??????????

Desert View staff are all passionate caring and I couldn’t ask for more . It gives me peace of mind and I’m so happy we found you! They helped me with our VA and it was so appreciated.

This place is great. The staff is even better. Desert View is very well priced and the value is unbelievable. This staff cares for both of my parents. I looked at 10 places and should have visited here first. Don’t look at pricing as the gauge. Look at all aspects and you won’t be disappointed.

This residence has been perfect for our father. At the early stages of Alzheimer’s and needed to be somewhere that could provide assistance. They treat him with friendliness, laughter and joy...and great food 3 times per day. If you need a place that TRULY cares...check out Desert View!

Such a wonderful & caring place! The transition for my dad was easy and they provided much help. The food is delicious and the activities are fun and plenty.

My mother fell and broker her hip a few months ago. She has advanced Alzheimer's and we needed hospice care for her. I worked with [name removed] at Desert View and he helped us get my mom and dad in an assisted living apartment for memory care patients. The staff at Desert View went above and beyond to care for both of my parents during this trying time. All I can say is the staff did an exemplary job providing care for my mother. They treated her and the family with the highest level of dignity and respect. I would highly recommend Desert View Senior Living to anyone looking for a safe and happy home for their parents. I cannot say enough good things about Desert View!

Great place, great people

My mom lived here for 4 years before she passed. I have nothing but good things to say about the care she received throughout the ordeal. The people were very compassionate and knowledgable. It truly felt like family. I am forever grateful for their care and comfort. I actually still stop by and visit some of the folks I met while she lived there. Highly recommend. Thanks

Mom and dad moved in in October. Staff is excellent-caring and attentive. Food is adequate, environment is cheerful, with daily activities provided. Transportation is accessible and affordable. I am so grateful for this assisted living place!

Spring Arbor Cottage - Memory Care on 10601 Barbara Lane, Richmond, VA 23233 We have found that is facility is wonderful. The facility is just for Memory Care patients and is set up in three different cottages. It resembles a small village. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. They really care about all of the patients. There is so much for them to do here. We are so thankful for this secure environment. It is a great place for anyone who has a memory care problem.

I only had a few days to get this done and the transition for my parents with the assistance of the entire team at Desert View was better than expected. It was near perfect considering the short notice I was given from dads rehab facility’. It was quite frankly flawless. My parents adjusted nicely-mom especially. Physically she’s improving and is now socially active and coming downstairs. We even processed dads VA claim within a week of moving in. Five stars and I wish I could give more!
