The staff is professional, compassionate, personable, attentive and quick to respond to any need of the resident. The residents are know by name and treated with great respect as members of a family. The community is peaceful and joyful with an uplifting atmosphere and sense of belonging. The rooms are spacious, the grounds beautifully landscaped. A very pleasant and comfortable place to live in the senior years!

They went up on rent [amount removed] for my mom and she's on a strict income. I hope they don't go up anymore otherwise we'll have to find her someone else to go and and she loves it there. The most I like about the facility is the cleanliness, friendliness and caring staff, great residents, the business of the activity schedule. The least is the food choices be off sometimes. They need to adhere to recommendations of all the residents.

Everything is going great! My family member loves it here!

I am a resident at The Phoenix at Braselton and overall, everything has been great for me here.

My mom seems very happy there. She says the staff is friendly and the facility is clean. The food is very good, although the meals have been a little smaller portions recently. Overall, she is really enjoying living there.

For us, it has the "homey" feeling. Others that we looked at felt to clinical. We also liked the smaller size of Sunrise. We felt our loved one would have been uncomfortable and/or intimidated at some of the larger facilities. From the beginning, the staff was great. My wife was there several times a week and the staff adored her and her them. Communication was great. Lastly, we had several brunches there and thought the food was very good. We would absolutely recommend Sunrise at Ivey Ridge.

I loved how clean it was. Cleanliness was a biggie for us. I also loved the interactions with patients and that hospice was really on the ball with notifying us of changes. The staff let us know of any additional needs. I wish they had more staffing to attend to patients, but thats just a sign of the times and industry. The quality of care received was great. No complaints at all about staff...just wish there was more.

I do think this facility is a good choice. The staff are friendly and seem to take care of my mom. It is a small home, so they are not tasked to take care of so many residents. The food is enjoyable. Overall, I think they are a good fit for my mom.

We picked this community because cost was a big factor, but overall, my mom felt comfortable.

Bay Port is a unique upscale assisted living facility that has been wonderful having my mom living there. The Director, [name removed] and staff has welcomed my mom and made my family feel at ease because the facility is clean, organized and operates with their resident’s dignity and well being 1st class. Their nursing staff especially [name removed] is the sweetest and takes such great care of my mom, she’s delightful, Thank you Bay Port.

Staff members are wonderful and engaged. It has been a wonderful experience overall.

My mother was previously a resident at The Pearl at Watkins Centre before she passed away and this facility was wonderful. They were great.

While our loved one was in a rehab facility, our family discussed needs and concerns and composed a list of questions to ask when we visited assisted living communities. Armed with our list and that of A Place for Mom, we visited three communities before visiting The Phoenix at Tucker. By this time, we had ruled out two, for various reasons, but were very much interested in the remaining one. At Phoenix we met with the Community Engagement Director and the Wellness Director. We were very much impressed by their attention not only to physical needs, but also social and emotional needs. We were impressed that all of their staff is dementia practitioner trained. We liked their thinking outside the box to encourage residents to participate in various activities. During the tour, we noted the interaction between staff and residents and talked with some residents and family members. We came away knowing we had a difficult decision to make between Phoenix and the previous facility.

I would recommend this facility -all staff are friendly and helpful. The move in process was as good as could be expected under circumstances-clean facility -housekeeping comes at least twice a week, or as often as needed. The entertainment is great. One thing that is better to me and brings me comfort is that they have nurses on staff over night, some facilities do not.

They have a special wall with pictures of residents who are veterans. Nice. Would definitely recommend Morningside of Vestavia Hills to others based off of my experience.

Good place for my mom. She loves it and it's located near her former home so they can easily come by and visit. Mother preferred it. I would recommend to others.

I would absolutely recommend this facility. As a matter of fact, I give high praise to the entire staff. Even though my father has only been there for approximately 2.5 months, he has received nothing short of good service. He has made so many friends and he, as well as my family, are very pleased!

Selecting a home for my mother was not an easy thing until I visited The Bungalows at Bowling Green. The Director and the entire staff are so kind, caring and loving. Small quaint environment with many activities planned daily. Feels like family to my mom and to me. I visit everyday and have nothing bad to say about anything, and I am super picky about everything especially when it comes to my mom’s care. The staff is super responsive. When making this tough decision, I highly recommend giving the Bungalows at Bowling Green a visit.
