Peregrine Senior Living

My loved one was previously a resident at Peregrine Shaker and I would highly recommend this facility to others. The staff was always friendly. The move in process was good. The housekeeping and maintenance were stellar. Based on my loved one's comments about the food, I would say that it was okay. Overall, she was not real happy with the food. The only negative was that questions were asked and answered, but some details were left out. For example: Do you take residents to doctor appointments, the answer was yes. In reality, it's only done on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Another example: Can families dine in with loved one's, the answer was yes, no charge. In reality, its only when meetings are not happening and they eat separate from their community. Their wellness staff was absolutely terrific. I think that is a real big part of having families feel comfortable with entrusting their family member to a facility.

My experience is with memory care section. The staff, from director to aides, are all caring, attentive and know their jobs. They communicate (text and pics) on an ongoing basis to let me know what's happening.

What we like the most about the Peregrine Guilderland community is that they seem to be helping out with everything she needs help with. I can't complain since she isn't. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Based on the experience we have had so far, we are very happy with Peregrine Senior Living at Colonie. The staff members there are very caring and very professional which is something we like the most. Our loved one is getting good care there.

My loved one is currently a resident at Peregrine Salisbury. Our overall experience at this facility has been great so far. The staff has been very communicative and helpful. The move in process was arranged and completed easily. The cleanliness and friendliness is great. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My grandmother moved to Peregrine a few months ago and has made many friends. She enjoys the activities-such as outings, crafts, manicures, and card games. Her room is very spacious and has a little kitchenette with a fridge and microwave.

I think it is way too pricey. We have to pay for some of his activities. Plus the [removed] a month. Staff is outstanding! The receptionist's are sweet and welcoming. The aids are the absolute best, I have not met one that is not absolutely wonderful with my dad. The maintenance Director, [name removed] has been especially fantastic. My dad has him moving something every other day. Yet he does it with a smile. He often checks on my dad too, he doesn't have to do that. My dad appreciates that and so do I. Love, Love Love the staff. Not a bad thing to say about them.

The staff is very caring and make residents feel very at home. They provide lots for the residents to do with activities, outings, and functions to include families. It is always kept very clean, and is bright and cheerful.

From the moment we took the tour, the staff and facility has been wonderful. They go out of their way to make my mother feel comfortable. They make her feel like this is her home. She loves the food and loves her apartment.

We loved Peregrine Crossgate immediately, and my mother-in-law felt the same. She's loving her new home there. It's a warm and inviting atmosphere in a beautiful setting.

We have been very happy with the staff. Everyone has been very pleasant and friendly and helpful. They have kept us abreast of any changing information regarding my dad. It's been a great experience there. Very happy with them and with the referral services that you and your company provided.

For the most part everything has been great. But some of their rules are inconvenient. I was told I could use my own pharmacy, but they switched it to their pharmacy, and it is costing me a lot more money. I wish they would inform me about changes in medication upon returning from the hospital.

My loved one was very pleased with the food. She was there a few months. We picked this community because of the location,and I liked the facility. It has been a very good experience. The people were vey helpful, and they took care of anything that we needed. I would recommend to others.

Peregrine is a memory care Facility and did not have much resident involvement or even smiles. Did not seem to be interested in long term care but that may be a memory care mantra. [removed] looked like a prime place after Peregrine. The two should not be compared as they support different levels of care. Our resident is not to the point of needing full memory care yet but I still needed the option for down the road. Changes are hard and with age even harder. Ingersoll offered the best of both worlds for us. Each of the facilities had great tours. I could never decide on a place without a tour. Our deciding factor was the enrichment available at each respective facility.

It’s is almost a year my mom has been living at Peregrine OP. A year of wonderful friends, laughter, love and experiences brought in by the activities director. We are truly blessed to have such a spectacular place right here ! My mom is well cared for and loved.

What we like most about Peregrine Senior Living is the staff, they are easy to work with, and provide an excellent facility and programs for the people residing there. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

The staff is great. Very caring and always running around making sure that everyone is okay. I had to bring my father back from the hospital around 11 pm one night. We were met by a dark lobby and no one picking up the phone. Knocked on the front window until a staff member finally opened the door which was a concern. So the day time is awesome but I was concerned about night time. I did not speak to anyone about that occurrence though since it was a one time thing.

Very friendly. My dad is greeted every times he sees a staff member. They all know his name. Took very good care of him when he had a stomach bug a few weeks ago delivered his meal and prepped it according to his doctor's orders. Just an all around great staff. My father is sooo happy with his new living arrangements

My mom and my family are extremely happy with Peregrine. My mom has improved in a number of ways physically and mentally being among the constant stimulation, good food, and incredibly loving care by the staff. The building, grounds and units are incredibly well-maintained also. I am grateful for the experience and for being directed to try this facility. She is very happy, so grateful. Thank you.

The staff is wonderful at this facility. The housekeeping is pretty good. Communication with the family is definitely top notch. The meals are pretty good, though my mom says that they are a little bit salty to her taste. One suggestion I have is more evening activities. I would most definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.
