Great place, great facilities, great staff, and wonderful residences. Very friendly and a very “happy” vibe to it. Mom loves it there! And their director [name removed] is awesome! Mom initially was very hesitant and sad to go in, but it was time. She soon made new friends, became active and was very happy. And it gave me peace of mind that she was well looked after. My only concern is having a charge for having food delivered to our room per meal. I am in a wheelchair and do not really like eating in the dining room nor does my husband-anyway That would be nice if there was a monthly fee instead - since we pay for meals in the rent.

Review for Town Village of Leawood
Since Town Village is an independent living facility, the quality of care can't be rated in the same way as a continuing care facility. The emphasis here is on "aging in place," which includes fitness training for balance, chair yoga, water exercise, and even meditation. Value for cost is hard to rate. Rent is high, and it increases annually. We looked at many facilities and found so many things here that were superior to the others that we chose to pay the very most we could afford.
