Pacifica Senior Living was a very nice place. It is very small and there are less residents here, therefore there is less going on. The room sizes were super small which was a downfall for us. Each building has 2 wings and 5 small rooms in each wing. It is in an "L" shape, so you cannot get lost and everyone can congregate in the dining space. They do have a large outdoor porch area that is all fenced in. If your loved one keeps to themselves more or is someone who wanders, this would be the perfect place for them! It was just not the right fit for my dad.

Pacifica has been a wonderful place for my mom. she moved there in [date removed] and immediately left welcomed. the staff took the time to get to know her and continue to be caring and attentive. Covid has created many challenges for senior living facilities. however, Pacifica has shown how much they care by finding a balance of keeping residents safe while being mindful of maintaining a healthy life balance for them.

I feel great about this community. this place makes me feel safe and right at home, there is always activities, food, people are wonderful, and kind. you can pick your mind of menu. it's all family here, I'm glad I chose this community.

we are very happy that we decided to have mom move into Pacifica Senior Living in San Leandro. management staff and residents are great - awesome meals too!! mom is well taken care of and we are relaxed knowing that she has 24hr care.

Pacifica Senior Living has been beyond expectations. the staff have been so loving, understanding and professional in caring for my mom and all the residents. by keeping her busy with daily activities, such as bingo, exercise, and mental games. my mom has been very happy being a resident here! she has made many new friends with staff members and other residents. thank you for caring for my mom Pacifica!

my husband and I moved to The Park Lane almost eleven years ago after he had a severe stroke and we needed to be closer to family for their support. I was mainly involved with caring for my husband and did not get to know many residents or participate in activities while he was living. in spite of that, many people from The Park Lane reached out to me upon his death - both residents and staff - and I felt comforted by the caring I experienced. I believe that there is a real sense of "community" here and it can be felt just by living here and being able to interact as much or as little as one wishes. for that I am most grateful and give The Park Lane a high score.

why I love living at the Park Lane? I could begin to tell you how lovely the grounds are and how well kept. it's like living in a beautiful park really. even your pets are welcome. even barbecues, and music and dancing. I could tell you about the entertainment that they provided for us - the happy hours, the musicians that come in - even the talent that live here that bring us joy. the ice cream socials, the games - you know. I could tell you about the layout - indoors. very welcoming from the entry to the dining area - the ballroom, the different areas for computer play to reading, books, games, and meetings and arts and crafts and movies, and exercise and massage and beauty shop, serendipity shop - the great chefs. but I won't take time to go into all that. the main reason I love living here at The Park Lane - it's the PEOPLE! the caring people that take care of us every day! and the people that complete our family here at The Park Lane! <3

When my wife died in 2009, I chose to live in northern California and survey its locations, and Park Lane came out on top and I moved here twelve years ago and I'm very pleased.

I have lived at The Park Lane in [unit number removed] for 17 years. My husband, [name removed], died here and I have been by myself. But not lonely, as all the neighbors around me sort of look after me as I am now 105 YEARS OLD!! I read a great deal of good literature, prepare some of my meals - though the delivered meals are usually fine. Thanks to [name removed] - he is your crown jewel!! My garden is my delight - it is no secret garden for I love to see Park Lanes family and friends there. All my neighbors [names removed] have all become my good friends as well as [name removed]. I no longer can go to events in the main building except to get books from the "wonderful" library. Years ago, when I was 87-88, I volunteered as the librarian, began a book club in which each person told about a different book they had read. I also gave lectures on the art of independence concerns and took a drawing class. Life has been good for me here at Park Lanes and the years have been full of joy. I am safe and that is important to my two sons, five grandchildren, and nine great grands. I live by the song "Que Sera Sera" - what will be will be.

why I love living at The Park Lane I love living at The Park Lane because of all the people: management, staff, and other residnets. the management and staff listen to our comments, good or not so good, and take them under advisement. they are always friendly, helpful and available giving excellent service from explaining the rules to gently enforcing them or to solving the squeaks in the door or the light socket that just won't cooperate. all genuinely care. the other residents have grown to be our friends, whether dining with them, taking a class, or going on outings. the stories told, backgrounds shared, or families spoken about would fill volumes - all sure to be listened to in awe (sometimes in envy). my husband and I did not visit The Park Lane prior to our move-in day. we have never regretted our children's decision and look forward to making more friends, sharing new outings, having good meals, and attending informative lectures and classes. thank you, Park Lane, and continued good luck to us all.

my wife and I now have lived at Park Lane for two years and are both very pleased. I am ninety, she's four years younger and we are both pleased to be here and have many new friends as well as those made over previous years. we enjoy the choice of meals and find that not having to shop for and prepare meals provides more time for personal enjoyment that include travel, visits to friends and reaching out to new experiences. Park Lane offers a variety of services to accommodate residents with differing needs and independence for those with few or no needs. yes, there are occasional issues and staff are available as necessary, such as assisted living or memory care when needed.

I like the staff and amenities. the arrangement of my apartment is very comfortable. every thing is clean and attractive.
