We really like Atria. However my experience with the administration side has been less than desirable. First of all, they went back on their initial written contract within 3 days of it. I did get them to come to a compromise. Then another complete failure (from my point of view, on their part) to communicate the new agreement. Forcing me into another compromise with them. All of which was an unnecessary waste of everybody's time. And an aggravation I could easily have done without.

(pets, kitchen, beach, social events, library, free WiFi, free parking, salon, raised gardening beds, anytime dining). Indep living but assisted living focus. Talked with [Name removed], will call in one week. Brochure on line with pictures.

Older facility with dated furnishings. Some rooms had nice porch. Dining area seemed dark but may seem “at home” for some senior residents. Long hallways. Some studios not equipped with shower.

Facility all on ground level with multiple buildings for various levels of care. Has covered walkways to go from unit to central building for meals, mail etc. Older maintained buildings.Staff friendly, lunch meal smelled good and dining room organized.

The people were friendly, but if did not feel like home. Plus the facility was really dreary.

I don't have any serious complaints, nor do I have any raving accolades. Therefore I have averaged my rating as a 5 star for service staff and a 0-1 star for management. I have found that the service staff, those who actually interact with the residents (i.e. dining room servers, maintenance, housekeeping, health aids, etc.), are much better at their job than those who are managing the facility (i.e., administrative staff, sales staff, etc.). 1. As a family member visiting my loved one, I only get greeted by the service staff; management walks past and doesn't acknowledge me. I'm the one who writes the check; at least look me in the eye and pretend you know who I am since I'm the one you met with numerous times to sell me on your facility. 2. Do they send out questionnaires or verbally query residents and/or loved ones to find out what the residents want to keep or change in the facility that they pay a goodly amount of rent for? I haven't seen anything. 3. Facility needs to find out foods that the residents would like to see rotated out or added. My loved one says all the food tastes the same. 4. Rents are raised on a regular basis. During my loved one's residency, several people have moved out because they cannot afford the rent. My loved one is soon to be relegated to sleeping under a bridge because he/she won't be able to afford it. (He/she will not actually sleep under a bridge; just trying to make a point.) I know it's a business but doesn't the exorbitant "Community Fee" help offset some of the rate hikes, especially when the residency door is revolving. That's my 2 cents; take it for what it's worth.

Facility condition is good, food is good. Staffing appears to be under trained, and supervised. Appears to be understaffed, with significant turnover. Management is unresponsive. Have sent emails which were not responded to.

The grounds are beautiful, and we have a safe place to walk. They are improving on meals. ED is doing a great job. My main concern is the transportation. Our community is a long way from buses the only way to get to doctors or other places is to drive oneself, family, taxi, or avail ones self of a limited service here with great expense to patrons here.

The park-like surroundings were nice, with good areas to walk a small pet. The apartments themselves were a bit smaller than my mom was looking for. She also felt that it was somewhat outdated. She would really like an accesible pool.

The people and staff are excellent. The facility leaves a lot to be desired.

Compared to other facilities I have visited, it's a bit expensive in its current condition.

Beautiful campus Good facility 1/meal day good food/service

Staff was very friendly and had a very small family vibe. Bright and higher ceilings. Very clean. Not much outdoor space. Very small @80 residents. No gym or pool. Need to find out how much for 1 bedroom. No kitchen in room. personal care add'l cost. Food brought to room additional cost. licensed memory care facility. Worried about mom being challenged and connecting with the older population.

I spoke with them, but since they do not have memory care, if my aunt's memory became worse she would have to move again, so they said she was not appropriate for their facility.

Wyndham Lakes has made many changes new decor, paint, furniture and a new dining area. The dining director and staff are professional and the food is tasty. The building recently had a change in management and changes each day show caring people. However, the Engagement opportunities need much improvement. The staff in that role are not trained and the memory care needs structured, sensory stimulation daily. I’m hopeful in the future to see new programs to benefit the entire building and keep up with the demand of increasing seniors being diagnosed with dementia.

Very nice facility, but it seemed too spread out for our purposes. The tour felt more like an aggressive sales pitch instead of an information gathering. There was no availability for 2 room units which is what we needed.

With regard to the community our buildings our isolated by steep hills on three sides. We can walk along one side near a lake. The lake itself is closed off for a larger community which doesn't want non-members to have access to walk on the lake side. They allow a church to have a service at 10:00 o'clock, but the gates are closed at 12:00. We do little shopping in the community When we stop using our car, we would have to use the transportation the meridian supplies.
