I chose Pacifica because I liked it the best of any place I saw in Tucson. They have 5 separate cottages and the maximum number of people in one cottage is 14. My husband is in there with 11 right now. It's spotlessly clean. They don't have carpets in the rooms which I liked becuase it doesn't smell like some of the other places. They have absolutely gorgeous, gorgeous grounds. They are not locked in the building. There is a big, beautiful yard with trails. My husband is extremely homesick but I think he is being well taken care of as far as I can see up to now. I ate at Pacifica and the food was better compared to the others that I saw.

Really Happy Residents
We used this for a respite stay and they're very on top of it. The residents are really really happy. There's a lot of interaction instead of people being sequestered in their rooms and separate from everyone. When you first walk in there is a big round table where they play games and talk and read. It's terrific.

Good People, Good Place
So far everything seems to be good. My father is in assisted living there and the care is good. I don't know much about the activities. I saw a calender, but my father wasn't really interested. I can't remember what kind of activites were available. The value is tough because I think it's extremely expensive but I'm kind of cheap. The food is incredible! Over all, they are good people and they've got a good place.

Good Community
We really did not have a lot to compare it to as this was our first experience but it seemed like everything went good. We liked the atmosphere and feel of the community when we visited it, it was more open and the residents seemed more active then resident at other communities. It worked our really well. The people were really nice and helpful.

Plenty To Do
My mom is loving it there. She's eating better than she has in years - there's lots of good selection for food. The rooms are beautiful and everthing seems new and nice. The caregivers are around, but my mom is in independent living so I can't really comment on the care services. She's going to exercise classes every day and making friends. There's plenty going on - places to go and things to do. She's busy.

Nice Community
We had our loved one here but had to move her because they did not have availability for the next level of care she needed. It seemed like a nice little community and would like to get them back into it when we have a chance.
