Nice and had beautiful veiws of the southern forest! Had a memory skilled facility , and was much smaller usnits then others. Very sacure site and clean. Offered a shared living room which was unique. One rrom was very spacious and easy wheelchair access. Patients mostly would be indoors. Higher end of price range.

I like this community. For my needs centrally located. Like the 2 bedrooms big refrig.

I am no longer searching for care. My 94 year old father is not doing well and I did not visit this facility. I must say the contact at this facility was very informative and helpful.

I loved the layout of the cottages for the memory. But when we first walked into the administration office it was a bit old and somewhat dirty. I used the bathroom down the hallway and the bathroom had paper towels on the floor and the floor was dirty. Saw the cottages and the rooms were small and old looking. For a semi private room there was no wall or curtain between the two beds. No privacy. The staff was really nice.

As lovely and inviting as it is, it's showed me that it's possible to be too large and too segregated between communities.

The staff is great! After 6:00 pm is a bit of a problem. You are left standing outside waiting for someone to let you in. If you don't have a cell phone, it's really a problem. The place could use updating and the carpets cleaned. Would be awesome otherwise.

Location looked dated. Visited in early June 2018 and the third floor was uncomfortably warm. Very few large units.

Not a good fit. Too spread out. Out of our way. Aging facilities need refreshing.

My mother currently resides at Wyndham Lakes in memory care. The Director of memory care, [name removed], was a wonderful asset to Wyndham Lakes. She organized activities (many of which I was present and had fun participating), and many of the activities were held outdoors. The residents were always busy. Now I understand she is no longer there. Since she left on [date removed], it appears no one is in charge of memory care! When I visited on [date removed], no one was there to let me in. When a staff member finally walked by, I asked her to let me in. Once I gained access, I couldn't locate any staff. I'm appalled at the fact that some of your most high maintenance residents were left in a locked unit unattended. What if there was an emergency? The night staff ([removed]) in memory care are also in need further education or maybe a supervisor! This week when I visited I found my mothers sheets on her roommates bed! I also found Her roommates clothes in my mothers bureau, and in my mom's dirty clothes basket. I'm perplexed as my mothers name is on her belongings. It's not that difficult to distinguish her things. Many of her things have disappeared as well. Towels, washcloths, body wash, etc. I would think for a facility that that specializes in senior care, with a special unit for memory care, would be a little more diligent in caring for those with special needs. Thank goodness for [name removed] on [removed]. She's a wonderful person. Every facility that deals with seniors who are unable to care for themselves needs employees with her patience, dedication, and caring attitude.

It was only my sister and I touring Woodbridge, Sun City. Pros: One bedroom apartment was the largest and best I've seen. It had ample storage and closet area and lots of natural light. Base price is so, so. Medication management runs approx. $350-400/mo., move in is on the high side but $500 lower than Brookdale. Cons: Beautiful entrance that seems like a large hotel. The common areas are dark. The hallways and elevator areas are confusing. The building is big. There's 100 residents (mixture of independent and assisted together) but we saw very few residents (Either they really like there bright, large apartments or because it was 2pm in the afternoon.) My sister did not like the fact that living and dining was independent and assisted mixed. She felt that might cause issues with keeping individual care organized and thorough. Bottom line: Loved the apartment, disliked the rest of the building.

Nice and clean, seemed very modern. The staff was friendly enough, and and few residents we talked to seemed very happy. Like the location and the amenities at the center. Mom didn't "feel" good about it, something she didn't like but couldn't put a finger on it. The Memory Care center seemed very subdued, folks just staring and slumping in their chairs - the hostess we had talked how they "let them join" the others sometimes, seemed like they were not as important. Just a feeling. The administrator wanted to meet us after we had our tour and talked, but after waiting 10 minutes or so, we said our goodbyes. We had already had all of our questions answered.
