We had to make the difficult (and now I see, overdue) decision to move one of our family members into a place where she could be taken care of. Her situation at home was becoming too complex and potentially dangerous. At Pacifica she has flourished. She is not only getting the nutrition and hydration that she's needed, but also something to DO. She had nothing for stimulation at home. She always says everyone is so kind and the food is so good. It has only been a few weeks, and though we all know it's not her old house...it's hopefully a new home.

Our experience with Tampa Gardens Senior Living was positive. I think that all of the staff members there do their jobs very well. I would recommend this facility to others looking for care for a loved one.

Staff has been helpful and friendly. At times staff feels a little short handed. We like the way the staff knows our names and talks with us.

Only been here 3 months. So far its okay. Food needs improvement. Calls to maintenance are not answered in a timely manner.

Nursing staff is amazing! #1 reason we like the place. Breakfast is good however lunch and dinner unpalatable. Although we pay for the food, my mom doesn't eat lunch and dinner often. She had some laundry lost/stolen/given away. Not sure as the story changes. Would be nice if she received compensation for it as we pay for the service.

I have been here about 6 months I am still adjusting my overall feelings are positive about living here . I am not to found of the food . I am looking forward to joining activities soon, I have taken advantage of the outings and I have enjoyed them a lot . My broken ankle has slowed me down that is the reason I haven’t done my much .

If a friend asked: friendly residents who liked it there. We picked this community because of the location and immediate availability/vacancy.

The best thing I like about the community it is friendly and the wait staff is very friendly too. Cute staff! Lol!

I like that most people are friendly. The head administrator is a caring person. She listens to some issues to help solve them. What needs improvement. Would like more activities.

Pacifica Senior Living Riverside has, by far, the best planned residence for Memory Care. I was impressed by how well designed this place is and by how much thought was put into every aspect of this facility. The cottages are set up around a secured area or yard with a walking path that leads from one entrance to one cottage and out to the other. In this way, the resident cannot get lost or confused as the paths always will lead them into a cottage. The cottages themselves are designed so that there is line of sight at all times for staff members to look in on residents. Each cottage has its own living space and dining area, as well. Staff in each cottage are numbered, depending on the level of care needed at each cottage. The staff members have been friendly and attentive to my mom. Communication from staff regarding my mom has been fairly good. It was a little rocky in the beginning, but is much smoother now. Funny about the meals...my sister and I have attended several of the family events and the meals served at those events have been delicious. That doesn't seem to be the case with the food that my mom is receiving on a daily basis, though. I know that she is not eating as much as she was here at her home and that she's lost quite a bit of weight. I also know that, on a couple of occasions, the food served to her was cold. Suggestion for improvement: I think that the intake process could be better. Initially, we were provided a few forms to fill out. Information that we needed to provide was specifically about things like her clothing... number of items, listing off her personal effects, things of that nature. There was also a form in which some personal info about my mom was requested. Favorite things like music, hobbies, previous occupation, etc just so that they could know a little bit more about my mom. It wasn't until her first night at the residence that I realized how much was missing in the intake process. The staff called numerous times that night asking questions about my mom's habits and what symptoms she was displaying regarding the Alzheimer's. I think an intake interview with the family would be a good idea because those kinds of things could be talked about. Also, things like how my mom takes her coffee or how she likes to sit by the window or sing or feed birds, you know, those kinds of things that come out when you're talking rather than filling out a form. Overall, I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Riverside. Having toured many Memory Care facilities in our area, I know that there are other facilities that aren't as nice as this one.

We really like the people there, they are the best and we appreciate their genuine concern for our loved one. However my dad really hated the food. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Everyone at the Sun City Gardens community that I have spoken with has been very caring of my dad and myself.

My mother moved there 2 years ago and we could not be happier. She has made friends and participates in the activities there. She was never very social so we were happy to see her come out of her shell at the Meridian.

Care and love for each other and the staff.

My ratings of 4 were influenced mainly by shortages of staff, which is chronic across the industry. The med techs seem to truly care about the residents. Service in the dining room is often hampered by staff shortages or supply chain issues, but they do the best that they can to accommodate any special requests. Overall, we are pleased with our experiences at Pacifica Senior Living San Martin.

The layout of the community. Friendliness of the staff. They greet everyone by name. We weren't disappointed with how they treated my sister. Cost was also a consideration. he staff at Pacifica continues to be accommodating. I wish we had found this place earlier. She was happy there.
