Staff and residents are very friendly and helpful. Staff is responsive to the needs of the residents. Elevators are a problem. Breaks down often. Not a good thing for a 14-story building with residents that have mobility issues. An overhaul of the elevator is needed. The first floor area would benefit from a hotel-grade air freshener system to combat overflow kitchen smells. 12-hour dining would be ideal. Spot shampoo carpet in hallway on floors that need it. We've been informed that there's going to be a rent increase of up to 10%. Very high increase for residents that are on a fixed income.

My loved one is a resident at Pacifica Senior Living Fresno. The staff is AMAZING! However, it's the new owners that are failing. The carpets are nasty and should be replaced like we were told at the time of our sign up. Their staff is way over worked. The new owners don't treat them very well and staff are leaving and they aren't hiring more people to replace them. The food quality and portion sizes are going down hill FAST! They no longer have a chef, only 1 cook and it shows! It takes way too long to get food and we were told by the cook that all of the meals are now pre-made meals that they just warm up as they are ordered. They don't have any activities, except for bingo or cards after every meal and also an art class. Overall, for the cost, they need to do better.

Sure could use a couple of simple microwaves to heat cold coffees and cold foods. We were told it is a health concern!? Also we have very large restaurant with time schedules for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Waiters are assigned to numbered tables. As a result, they are required to take orders at their tables only. Thus so often people are asking who is our waiter! Why cant waiters take orders on a first come basis?! They would still have table numbers. What is happenings, late comers are often fed first.
