Pacifica Senior Living

Due to circumstances and various things going on, I was not able to visit the facility in person myself, but from I have gathered everything has gone very well. I was specifically concerned with wanting to make sure he was secure, and I have found it to be a very safe and secure place. My only critique is that there was a gap in communication between the marketing and the staff to where they were not aware of the move-in date and were not ready when he arrived and had to scramble around last minute. Other than that everything has been good.

It was a short stay for my loved one at The Courtyard at Coeur d'Alene, so I guess my feelings for them are that they did an excellent job. And also the transition to moving in there was very good as well.

I toured Woodmark by myself and then with my Mom. I was very impressed with the services offered and the food. There is plenty to choose from on each menu and it was quite delicious. I plan to move Mom there in the future; right now she is emotionally attached to her present community and her friends there. I really feel Woodmark would be better for her once we finally move her. I recommend Woodmark to anyone that is looking for a place for family or friend. The amenities are great, people are friendly and very helpful! I might consider moving there myself in a few more years!

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Wellington Place. I'd give them top marks across the board, they've handled everything as well as you could expect. The place is well kept and clean, and the staff do a good job looking out for the people who live here.

The facility is very nice, but they are understaffed. Only one care giver can come at some times. In order to transfer safely they should bring 2.

Everything is going great at Pacifica Senior Living Riverside. The facility is clean. The staff are friendly. It is a good value. I have no complaints. We really like this facility.

The grounds and cottages at Pacifica has well maintained and quite lovely. The caregivers at the Red cottage are very sensitive to the needs of the people living there, very friendly and keep me informed of any additional items required. Also, the caregivers do everything possible to make life as comfortable as possible for the people living there. The rooms are clean and well lit and much like a vacation room at a hotel. The menu selection is wonderful and varied and the chief does a tremendous job. All the staff members are friendly and helpful at this location. The activity director does a great job in stimulating the people living there to become involved. My brother is content and happy living there and has not indicated he wants to return home. The above positive aspects would rate this a 5 star. The following items would have made the transition easier for the responsible party. I believe it would be extremely helpful to have the sales staff review or summarize the checklist and resident agreement in advance with the responsible parties. Due to the volume of paper on each document (50+ pages) , many of the questions I requested answers to were available in these documents. Had this been done, it would not have necessitated me writing three e-mails requesting answers to approximately 30+ questions. If this is not possible, I believe it is important to provide prospective clients and or responsible parties with a summary identifying a Q & A of those most asked questions and answers. An additional item that concerned me was the point system. I had requested what items are specifically included and the point value of each item. I was told the there is a new program that generates the point value of each item and the ultimate point total is derived. No information was available regarding the specifics of this new program. What I found confusing after the nurse interview with my brother, she completed a manual form based on the responses of her interview. Each category and item had a point value associated with it. She then added the items up and arrived at a total point count. This was then entered into the computer that merely summarized what she had done and the same points were tallied. I also believe it is important to talk to the caregivers at the cottage prior to move-in regarding the number of personal items (e.g., shirts, pants, etc.) that should be brought. (Again, if this is not possible, it could be part of the Q & A identified above). I had brought in a number of clothing items, but was told by sales to only have approximately 5 shirts, pants etc. and take home the rest. Later, I found out from the caregivers more of the same items are required, so brought back many of the items. Due to the positive aspects I identified in my initial paragraph, overall I rate this a 5 star. I truly believe it is extremely important that those items requiring some restructuring and/or training would have facilitated a smoother transition for the responsible party.

The staff members have all done well with the care that my father is receiving from them at Brookdale Palm Springs. They are good at keeping us informed if there is any kind of a problem, so we appreciate that.

My godfather required to recover in a Skilled Nursing Facility in November of 2014. After receiving excellent care at the SNF, he transferred to the assisted living side of Brookdale Northridge in December 2014. The team at Brookdale made his transition seamlessly and made him feel right at home. Now that almost a year has transpired, he absolutely loves living there. He is active in their activities and enjoys his apartment. To say his transition from his large home to his apartment was easy is an understatement!. I would have never thought the move for him would have been this easy. Thanks to the staff,,,,, it was great.

They took my client who had surgery and was in recovery and they were able to take care of him with his rehabilitation. They did a good job with meals and being attentive and everything. The only thing he complained about was the cleanliness, because some of the other residents were incontinent, so I don't know how they dealt with that.

The events that my mother has attended have made her happy.n the staff is especially caring. One of the staff members plays guitar. There is a new chef that walks around to ask guests how they like what they are served. He will make special requests.

My Mom & I love the kind, caring staff and the delicious fresh cooked food. She enjoys to walk the beautiful grounds and to be outdoors at her leisure. She has made so many friends and with the planned activities, it keeps her just busy enough. She is very happy living at Pacifica Newport-Mesa. Her feeling safe, clean and cared for, as well as being engaged in daily activities, means the world to me.

Robin gave us a wealth of information and helped educate us in a situation that is very unfamiliar to us. She is extremely compassionate and wants the best for the families that are seeking homes for their loved ones. High recommend this facility!

Mom was very unhappy at her last Assistant Living facility that she was at for 3 years. I moved her to Sun City Center about 2 months ago. She has never been more happy. She calls it her Blue Heaven. Very friendly staff, good food and gazebo by pond very peaceful. They treat her with respect and are very patient. Thanks for easing my mind and making mom happy in her twilight years.

I think that they are very good at the customer service with the family. Also good with keeping my dad engaged and socializing and keeping him safe. They have been good at keeping us informed and they are good at taking calls from the family and being friendly about it.

They're wonderful people. We are very happy with them. They are very accessible and we are very happy. When it comes to meals they seem to be very flexible, and went over detailed likes and dislikes my loved one has, and have stuck to it. It seems to be comparable in price compared to others, and they have worked with us to go over the care plan and our price has even come down a little.

They were very nice to me and they returned all my phone calls. As far as I can tell they have taken care of her; she hasn't been there but only for a couple of days. Overall though, I have nothing but good things to say.

The staff seems to be very connected to the residents there at Sun City Senior Living. They are very committed to making sure that it is a good fit for them and that they are all doing well while they are there.

At Villa Bonita Senior Living the staff was great with getting dad in and situated. They were really accommodating and great to work with. I am really pleased with everything here.

I think they have a high turnover, so I would think that possibly there could just be something to keep retention. It is pretty good though, it is a difficult situation, but at that level of care the staff is doing a good job.
