This facility seemed more like a family. In one cottage, the residents were dancing to 70s music in their main room when we came through. There was laughing and participation. The other cottage was less upbeat, but there was still a warm, welcoming feeling in the main room. The individual rooms are all private with their own bathroom. The price seems in range with the other ones we have visited. They seem interested in the likes and interests of the residents and offer enriching activities throughout the day. The view out one of the cottage dining area windows revealed the gates and fences meant to keep residents safe, but could make them feel like prison. The other views were less like that, so I felt better about that.

This is the place, after taking a second tour and sitting down with a representative my father has decided to stay. They have great facilities and are very welcoming and friendly. He is looking forward to spending time here. The apartments are very spacious and well lit, with a large balcony, and full-size appliances, including a washer and dryer. We were treated to an amazing lunch; the dining room was clean, and the staff was very attentive to the guests. The grounds are very nice, with paths and trails to get outside. There is also a large clubhouse with a theater, game room and arts and crafts multi use room. We are looking forward to moving there.

I toured this facility along with five others in [date removed]. The one and two bedroom apartments are spacious compared to the other facilities. The master bedroom accesses a screened in balcony. The balcony is also accessible through a patio door from the living room. Independent living and assisted living is one of two buildings on the 70 acres. The other is an identical department complex for 55+. My tour guide said that the outside environment, including putting and driving golf spaces and a fishable lake were the favorites of many men there. The other impressive feature is that everything seems freshly painted, the work three full-time painters on staff.

When looking for the right place to move a 98 year old healthy relative closer to me, the people in this facility were exceptionally informative. All other facilities recommended by A Place for Mom were as described. This facility personnel go the extra mile to make this transistion seamless.

What we like the most about the community is their attentiveness. We also like that they have residents engaged in activities. Yes, we would recommend Ocala Senior Living community to other families.

Was absolutely amazing, loved the layout and how it had the courtyard in the middle. Seemed clean when we were there. Everyone was friendly and answered our questions. So far I am happy with the quality of care my loved one is receiving . Helpful and friendly. Awesome for on site chef and so far haven't had any complaints from my loved one. I would like to see more available off site activities, I know the facility has a bus, I just don't think it's utilized much. The in site activities are great. Excellent price point for people on a budget that want excellent care for their loved one.

We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Gateway Park ASSISTED Living in Poway, CA is working out well for us. It is much smaller (fewer than 60 residents) than the place my mom used to be in [community removed], and everyone is much more attentive to my mom's needs

One issue we've experienced her kitchen sink keeps clogging up. They send a handyman quickly but the problem keeps recurring. Overall my sister in law is very happy with Meridian. Staff are personable, friendly and helpful. She is in a one bedroom apt so size is ok. Kitchen is rather small but it encourages residents to have meals in the dining room which is good for socialization.

What we like the most about the community are the room sizes and the layout. We also like the staff and the grounds. We would absolutely recommend Forest Trace Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.

The place was great! Staff was friendly. And residents I saw seemed happy and comfortable. The place was clean. There was a lot of things to do. I really loved the land scape. This would be a nice place for your love ones.

We had such a wonderful experience touring this assisted living community. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness and genuine care. The staff took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The facility is clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed, and you can truly feel the sense of community here. It gave us peace of mind knowing our loved one would be in such capable and compassionate hands. Highly recommend!

I was recently in Palm Springs and visited my family friend. That is a resident in assisted living. I was expecting something quite different, but was pleasantly surprised at how well he was doing. I think that the grounds the staff and being around people his own age is really helping. This is the kind of place I want for my mom who I believe we'll need more help in the near future. This was very homie and I could see it is a good place.

We were recently in Palm Springs and had a visit with my aunt. She can no longer join us for Christmas so we went and had a Christmas visit with her. The Cottages was unexpectedly cheery. The grounds are beautiful, and the decorations were so festive. The staff helped make it a really fun day. The grounds are beautiful and the food was really good. We had such a fun time. We may even come back one more time before we head home. Loved it.

My dear Mom still has her spark for life. She loves socializing, relaxing, enjoying good food, and being in nature––she also has dementia. With a compressed holiday season decision envelop, our family had one priority: Find a warm, welcoming, safe, professional, beautiful, 24/7 care environment for Mum. We found it––on the dot––at The Cottages Palm Springs. This facility is superlative. Cottages are laid out across a verdant private campus-like park with mature trees, safe walk paths, and special views of mighty Mount San Jacinto. The Caregivers are empathetic, sincere, and effective. The admin & exec team is super solid, savvy, understanding, and on the ball. The community is inclusive and warm. As we head into a fresh new year, we have a great sense of ease, relief, and calm. Mom is happy, she is comfortable, cared for, fresh, and safe. The Cottages in Palm Springs...grateful for you!!!

I came in from out of town to visit my uncle at the cottages of Palm Springs. The apartment was nice, clean and smelled nice. And the staff working that day were really nice to my uncle and treated him like family. I would highly recommend.

Prompt listen always gets answers for questions. Never rushes me through anything very kind and considerate. Goes out of her way to help.

Staff supports residents, family, and friends with care and genuine concern for the wellbeing of residents. For staff it is more than just a job. They respect even the residents who are difficult to manage. As a family member I have been welcomed to the caregiving team, and they readily consult with me about issues that arise. I am so happy and relieved to have found this facility because we are part of a family community caring for our loved ones.

I've lived and worked in Lemon Grove for a long time and didn't realize that this property was here. My friend moved in years ago and I recently went to visit for a tour and was happy to see the beautiful property with all the palm trees. Hopefully I can move in one day
