My mom lived here for a few weeks, entering during the covid crisis, and not too long before she passed. There were a couple of very caring personnel Who worked there, but, for some reason (I couldn’t go inside to ascertain her care) her condition plummeted. When I picked her up, she had an unknown rash all over her face, a bedsore had developed, and evidence that her personal hygiene was neglected. The dental hygiene products, and body cleansers that I sent with her for were unused for whatever reason. I was very sad to see what had happened in five weeks.

My tour was fine but when I told the guy how much money we (didn't) have, He basically didn't care after that.

The staff here pretend to care for love ones, but when there are no family members around, clients sit in their urine and waste for hours. Unexplained bruises, no 24hr nurse on duty. Staff including management are aware of a client abusing other clients but because family doesn't want the client on certain meds they over look many incidents. They serve clients soup and sandwiches 4 days of the week for dinner. If client doesn't have family members that visit they are treated the worse. I'm not sure who is writing theses reviews stating otherwise, but at least you can't say you weren't warned. They have great activities and rooms are clean and that's as good as it gets.

This facility overworks thier staff. The CNAs cook breakfast which is cross contamination. There are a number of things that need to be fixed. Houses are cleaned once a week. This place needs a serious intervention.

THIS facility does NOT provide transportation. They do NOT have automatic doors (so DO NOT consider this place if you are handicapped). The food is awful. The staff, although they are kind,has very high turnover.

Ok facility, but resembles a nursing home. Cost starts at 4400.

It was not clean. We were not impressed with this community and we surely did not choice this community to help take care of our loved one. It’s really important to look at a lot of communities when you’re searching, so you find a really good match.

I saw no activities whenever I was there and I only gave them a 3 for meals in assumption that it was just ok because I wasn't there for a meal. The prior staff--several of them--told me the new folks were purposely driving out all of the residents because they wanted to get rid of those who needed memory care.

The facility on good days might warrant a 3. Hopefully, your loved ones does not need to leave the facility. My mother left twice, and twice they failed to make certain the receiving facility had the proper meds. Upon returning this last time, despite Oxford Springs having her release information 24 hours in advance, my mother did not receive her new meds for over 24 hours AND the lead nurse offered her medication that she was to discontinue. Apparently they had the medicine on premise, but failed to get it to her. An upset son calls, the Director makes a false accusation about the conversation and now they are evicting my mother! Failure of service by Oxford leads to them evicted an elderly lady with dementia in just 7 days. Actual experience.

I just left this facility as a nurse because the treatment of the residents is not consistent. With what [name removed] the sales director and [name removed] Director. are explaining to families as soon as you drop your family off and walk out the door the Whole lie of what you were told comes to reality. Your residents are not being taken care of nothing. They promised is ever true until you walk back in the door everybody runs around and tries to pretend like they're doing their work. This place rejected my step father because he is ex military. He served as a surgeon in the Army. The director of nursing told my family and me that because he was ex military, and in her experience, they all become aggressive, he was not a good fit. He deserves better than this.

They were very short-staffed and did not deliver at all on any care that was promised.

When I put my husband here they said we could take care of him no problem. He was there for 8 days and they called and said pick him up. They had very little and no activities that I saw. I would not send a loved one to this facility.

No built in closet - very small room 236 sq ft and to lose space for their wardrobe makes it more cramp. nice outside areas - Nice areas to mingle in but only one area.

Awful. Terrible. Unsafe.

I moved my parents to Broodale Tulsa South after speaking with them about the concerns, wishes and needs that were necessary for me to decide on where I could leave them. I was assured ALL my requests were going to be met and that they would care for them and have no problems meeting those requests. We moved in 2-9-16 and I had to get them out by 3-12-16 due to non-compliance and continual mistakes from medication problems, personality issues, poor care, theft, rude staff, horrible dining service and complete and total lack of ethics and intelligence from the staff. I regret trusting in these ppl and can only say the turnover rate in patients is quite high. They will tell you what you want to hear and then ignore everything and never try to accommodate you ever. I spent every day there trying to do their job for them and it is unfortunate for those that do not have someone to stay on top of the problems. The facility smells horrible and good luck finding anyone to let you in or out. I had ppl look right at me while standing in the cold and walk off. Completely ignoring me. Service is terrible and they will tell u if u do not like the entree u can get something else. I heard the chef say several times tough they can eat grilled cheese. My parents were ignored and would have their food eaten and go without a drink due to pure laziness. They went without their laundry being picked up for ten days. And they kept it 4 days before returning. I got expensive hangers to send and they ever came back. Their close came back waded up. After the theft of a bracelet that they blamed on my mom we no longer could trust leaving them. When I asked them to make a theft report they said it was her fault for "misplacing" it. They came in and "searched" thru my parents' belongings twice and told her it was her own fault. And then it miraculously appeared on a table where they play bingo. My mother was never there. The director promised to come by daily to talk and take her for a walk. That NEVER happened. The day we moved in, I was told I could bring them there and go back to help get movers going. NOBODY was there to check them in, director not there, nurse not there, and I was told they never got their room ready. I was an hour late meeting movers and had to pay extra for their inability to do anything right. When director shows up with wet hair I knew she was not expecting us. Nobody knew we were coming and I had made those arrangements 4 days before when I handed them our check. So we had to wait and it was extremely hard on my 89 yr old dad. I took him to his doctor and in 3.5 weeks dad lost 10 pounds and his health declined. The dr said I needed to get them moved ASAP bc they were in a bad place and he was getting worse due to the stress. I was out two days later but not without encountering a very hateful and rude staff. If u r smart, DO NOT entrust ur loved ones to this type of treatment. We have found an amazing facility and my dad is showing tremendous signs of improvement after only 24 hours. The staff is always smiling and kind to their residents. I am sick that I had to go thru this and I got results from corporate quickly bc the director and LPN will not help u. I did the work for the nurse to get the meds right bc she still did not have a clue after ten days on how to get her job done. I'm pleading with u to not waste ur time or believe u r leaving someone u love in good hands there. We r only $100 more and they r in basically a 5 star resort and r so much happier. Oh and they also sent me in circles trying to find VA benefits. The person they sent me to had no idea why they gave her name. I was NEVER helped as far as getting help with financing until VA benefits started coming and I made that clear they HAD to have the help in order to stay.

Took a tour there. It was dirty and dark. The carpet was soiled and stained. The rooms are very, very small and have no closet.

There are two Memory care areas. They have the smallest rooms in Wichita, no closet, barely space for a twin bed and chair. The common area is not clean and doesn't smell good. They lie about how many caregivers are on staff, especially at night. Very little oversight by management. For the money, look around, you can find better.

My grandmother and I went to have a visit with my grandfather . We were not allowed inside which is fine. We had to wear our masks outside and stay 6 feet apart. When we signed in, looking in the window the staff wasn’t wearing theirs and was definitely not 6 feet apart. I realize they can’t really take care of our loved ones and stay 6 feet apart but I would like to see the staff wearing masks especially if they are within inches from our loved ones.
