There was lots of staff and management changes while we were there. There were staff issues that affected both the food and activities so I didn't get a realistic picture. They aren't the only place with staffing issues. And I like the new director they brought on- he's good.

All these places are expensive....not sure about the value for cost. The original manager left due to health problems, the replacement was a rookie manager who seemed overwhelmed....a new manager starts Monday. She's not a rookie so let's see how she does

Riverside was a life saver for me as [name removed] needed more care than I could give him. The cost was affordable for us and I personally enjoyed being around the friendly staff and activities. The only down side was the lack of staff on occasions but I understand than they staff come and go without notice many times. I am thankful that [name removed] had a pleasant place to be his last few months of life.

It has been good but moving my mother from an assisted living facility to a memory care facility has its challenges. It seemed to us from our tour and interviews of the staff that it was the best for my mother out of all the memory care facilities we visited. Thankfully it was also the first one that had an opening as we were on a waitlist at 3 different facilities.

They really care about the residents. We picked this community because it was local, the price, and watching the interaction with the residents gave me peace of mind.

Overall Oxford Grand at McKinney is a very good place. They have kind staff members working there, and there are many different activities for the residents to participate in. However our loved one does not like the meals that are prepared. We would recommend his community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

We thought the Riverside Oxford Memory Care was a very clean community, however the communication probably could be better. I think the corporate folks need a better dietitian doing the meal plans.

We toured Riverside Oxford Memory Care when searching for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. This facility seemed good and our tour was good. The cleanliness and friendliness were good. Our tour guide was very helpful.

Overall it's nice, but I kind of feel like when something goes wrong or my loved one progresses I'm supposed to find a solution. Sometimes they seem like they've never seen this before. Certain staff members are great, others not so much.

Things with Oxford Grand at McKinney have changed, and not for the better. When there was a change in the general manager especially. We would recommend this community to other families, however it would have to depend on their situation.

We picked this community, because of the individual attention. They have friendly staff who work well to get client to appointments. Be aware that they accept NO type of insurance, and charge seperately for most things.

Things myself and my family liked about The Oxford Grand that helped us make our decision are.: the room opened up to the living room area, not to a hallway. The smaller nature of Memory Care, meaning there's only 11ish rooms to each side. The staff to resident ratio. Because of the smaller size, I feel that the atmosphere is more family like. The staff really gets to know the residents and their families. My mom says the food is very good. We're hoping for more men to move in, right now my dad is the only one on his side. We would recommend this facility to others.

The staff took very good care of him at Oxford Glen. The director was kindhearted and had coffee with him many days. I don't know of any derogatory things. Of course he always wanted to come home.

The community is a nice place. Outward experience may fool you! They need more staff. Nurse aids cared more than the other staff. Besides knowing the aids was unsure who were the nurses. AIDS WERE THERE WORKING HARD. HAD TO KEEP BUYING PERSONAL STUFF BECAUSE ITEMS WOULD GET LOST AND NO ONE COULD FIND THEM. BOUGHT my loved one new shoes. Saw them on my loved one's feet once! Never saw them again. After my loved one passed away there was no one that reached out to us.

My mom is living there and loves it. She was afraid to go but glad she did. She has made friends, and likes everyone who works there they are very friendly staff. She like the food, and activities. Over all she loves it there. If you have a problem the staff is on top of it. The only problem I can see is they can clean and mop and vacuum residents rooms more often and I was told they don't wash other people clothes together but they do. Everyone wearing others clothes

This was a beautiful community; however, the price was more than we wanted to spend. The community seemed more regimented than than we wanted for our loved one. The staff were all really nice during the tour.

We decided on Oxford Grand because the location was good, the staff were all very friendly, the price was high, but it was better than others. They also had space available whereas other places all had waiting lists. I do know that right now there is a waiting list here for memory care. The staff seem to be very kind to [name removed] and they definitely include him and let him know when there are activities going on and encourage him. He is doing more here than he did in independent living. He really likes the food and he is healthy and care is good, that is all that really matters. I would recommend Oxford Grand at McKinney to other families.

I was very impressed. It was not inclusive, they had additional add on costs, and so it was more expensive.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a good experience

The care the staff provided for the residents was excellent, we thought the food was very good and the dining service was very responsive. Even though our loved one was not always able to participate in the activities, they were really good.
