We toured this community when looking for my dad. We liked that they offered furnished spacious-updated rooms. It was very clean in a nice neighborhood. The downside to this community was it wasn't close to parks, too far from family and out of our price range.

My father is not particularly happy about moving from home.The staff is making an effort to keep him comfortable. They don't offer a memory care wing so we may to move him. It's nice and clean all the time. It smells very potpourri. They offer three meals a day, if you miss a meal they'll offer sandwiches, juice and coffee after hours. They don't offer a gym and he would like to be able exercise. He also isn't happy that he cannot walk the grounds without supervision.They have been very accommodating and do their best to lift his spirits.

I like living in this community. They need more assistance in the dining area. I think they need some improvements. The food at times is cold when served. The community is very clean. I am offered activities. I like living here and would recommend this community to other families. I think that a few improvements could be made, but it is a good home and good value

My loved one has been sick lately and I could not be more pleased with how accommodating the staff have been towards us. They have been very helpful and have a genuine concern for him, its like one big family. I would defiantly recommend this place to any families looking for a great assisted living for there families.

My mother has been very comfortable with making the move into this community which has given me a big peace of mind. The staff have bee very helpful with everything especially on helping my mother keep her room clean and tidy for her. She has had no complaints about the food and hopes to get involved more in the activity program as soon as she starts to feel better.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this community everyone seemed friendly and the staff gave my loved one and I lots of useful information about there organization. It was just not the right location for my family and I, it was too far to get too from our home.

we like the care here for my mom. Theadministrative staff is wonderful. We higter private care for my mom, so the staff does not pay alot of attention to her because of the private care. The billing office over billed me, but it was taken care of. The meals are good and she does have special needs on certain foods. They are offering her activities, but she is not able to participate. We would recommend this community for great care and a good value for a loved ones needs.

I am happy with the care that my mom is getting here. The staff is very caring and helpful with my mother just settling in. The community is very clean and taken care of. The menu is excellent with a good variety of great meals. I would recommend the over all care here and value to families.

Everything is going well for my father since his move to this community. They have provided me with a peace of mind knowing his is safe and in a good place. The staff is caring for him and his well. The community looks nice and well kept. It has been a lovely experience, and I would recommend this community.

My mom is very happy in the the dependant living facility. They help with her trash and check on her a few times per day. She is happy with the meals that are offered for dinner. They have nice activities for participation. Staff members are caring and friendly. I would recommend this for a good value and care

This is a good community with good care. The staff is helpful and caring. The food is good and a good variety. They do offer activities for others to participate in to be active. This community is highly recommended for others.

My sister was here at this community for a short time, before she fall and broker her hip. We were very impressed with how quick they responded to helping her. They called me right away and informed me of everything. She was still adjusting to the community before her fall. It is a good community. They have a quick responsive staff.

My 84 year-old mother-in-law stayed at Brookdale Whittier for 8 days in a respite care situation. She said the food was good and the people friendly. Staff were very attentive and caring. Administration team was professional, helpful, and caring. Mom had a good 8-day experience. Her respite care room was furnished nicely, but minimally.

My father is doing okay here at this community. Everything is working out pretty well. The community for the most part is well maintained, but there are some areas that could be cleaned better. The staff is very friendly. He has tried a few activities, they offered many for him to choose from. The food is okay, they need more of a variety of fresh fruits for the residents to choose from. They are providing him with good care.

Mom stayed at Brookdale Chatsworth for 2 weeks for respite care to see what it was like to live in a community. She feels she is not ready to move there yet but if the time comes she would live there. Everyone was nice and the food was fine. They keep the community well maintained and clean.

It's clean, bright, and the food is fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly, and my mom says that the food is the best she's ever had!

This house was large and very nice the assisted-living portion of it I spoke to numerous patients in there, people were doing things the staff interacted with the patients quite a bit they had a lot of activities. My mom needs the memory care section in there as opposed to the other facilities I had visited the staff were interacting with the clients one attendant was shaving a gentleman the others were doing different things the whole time. The general mood of the memory care center was much more uplifting then any of the facility I’ve been to. I started asking clients and staff at different questions in regards to the facility and found no negative comments . They also take the memory care clients out of there once a month and they’re allowed to go to restaurants and they take him out of there to go join the activities in the assisted-living portion of the facility.

Of all the places we checked out, the Paramount House was where we were going to take my loved one. They were extremely helpful and worked with us quite well. The only reason we did not go there is because at the last minute a family member was able to take care of my loved one.

They seem to do a very good job of getting to know the individuals when they first get there. They have quite a few of the staff chatting and finding a little more about them. They really take an interest so they can fulfill their needs. I think they do a very good job. We have been extremely pleased. It has been a positive move.
