[name removed], without much time was able to arrange overnight sitters for us upon discharge (who were all professional, gentle and attentive). It became clear that I needed a daytime person as well to allow me to run errands as my partner couldn’t be left alone. [name removed] recommended a live-in aid as that would actually be less expensive. [name removed] stayed with us for several weeks, as we navigated recovery and got back on our feet. She was great, always aware of what was needed, when to step in, or step back and stay close. Plus, Options truly was very flexible with what we needed. After a time we didn’t need so many hours a day from '[name removed] arranged for '[name removed] to be hourly.

We only had one person helping us she was a 5 in every category. Based on the experience we have had, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

I enjoy her very much takes excellent care of me always ensuring that my needs are met I never want for anything. She goes up and beyond her duties every day exceptional Service every time always make sure all my needs are met takes excellent care of my cat always check my mail regularly and often.always takes my trash daily keeps my house tidy clean every day. always takes the time to ensure for the beginning of her to the end of her shift of the day so I don't feel comfortable at all day during her shifts with me

The aides were just what I needed. They were attentive to mom, protective of her health at a time that she could not take care of herself, and engaged her with conversation. I recommended Options for Senior America to a friend for her mom, and she did bring in help from them. She was also pleased. Yes, I would recommend them again. They saved me when I was exhausted from caring for mom, and I couldn't leave her alone. Cost is a lot, so folks have to have the means to afford this service.

My husband’s Aide, [name removed] was terrific with him. He looked forward to seeing her. He often would ask when is she coming? She developed a warm , caring relationship with him. [name removed] followed directions well in the beginning and soon knew exactly what to do. She followed his exercise routine with no intervention. The OT and PT explained and demonstrated the therapies. She easily then followed through quickly and consistently. She developed close and caring relationships with the rest of the family. It was easy to leave her with my husband. Several times my husband needed to be placed in short-term rehab. [name removed] happily followed him to the facility and continued with her daily routine services. This consistency helped my husband transition to a new environment. I am thankful for her. [name removed]. was never asked to do laundry but she just started doing it. Gratefully, it quickly became her routine. She and I remain in touch after my husband passed away in January. I highly recommend her services!

She has been so helpful with doing house cleaning. She comes in and visits for a few minutes and then gets right to work. My 94 year old Dad has really enjoyed having someone come in to help with house chores.

Hello, I was referred by close family friend. It has been my absolute pleasure to have assistance from Senior America - Lake County. I am a 62-year-old woman with upper and lower back problems also sciatica. There are times when I can barely move because of the pain, and many things that I would like to take care of that I cannot. I feel that my caregiver is an answer to prayers. She’s amazing. I have two cats that I cannot change their litter. She feeds them takes care of them. She cooks, shops, cleans and does laundry for me. I know there are many people that can do these things, but she goes above and beyond what she can do. She’s like a daughter to me. She keeps me company and she enjoys listening to me. She makes me laugh and heal emotionally. I love our encouraging talks and I look forward to seeing her daily. It’s a pleasure to have someone who truly cares about you and it’s not just a job.

Our Experience with this company who sent us our assistant has been outstanding. The company’s response to any request has been excellent. We Have Nothing but gratefulness for the help. She helps me get dressed and takes me where I needs to go. She helps me understand the doctor when I can’t and goes to the pharmacy for me when I need my medications. She cooks and cleans the whole house for me

My father had Options for several years and they did an amazing job caring for my father five days a week. The caregivers were awesome. The most recent caregiver named [name removed] was very good with my father and his final days of his life. [name removed] was like Family. Option staff were great with me specially, when my father passed they even came to his celebration of life and was very supportive with me.

My mother last years of life were better than I could image due to my Mother’s excellent caregiver, [name removed]. [name removed] made my mother feel safe and loved. My sisters and I were able to relax knowing our mother was in good care.

[name removed] takes care of my dad everyday. She takes care of my dad as if it were her own dad. When I am at work I know my dad is safe. I have zero worry when I am at work. We love [name removed]. [name removed] goes above and beyond to make sure her clients have the best care.

I was a full time caregiver for my 93 year old dad. Other than 2 hours per week for bathing assistance, I had no help. I was completely burned out and exhausted. This agency was referred to me by a cousin who had used the services. I was hesitant, because dad could be difficult to work with. Our aide put me completely at ease, even taking time to sit with us, so that dad would be comfortable with her when left alone. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with such a pure and caring heart. She is forever a part of our family.

From the day our mother was matched with her caregiver, we received great service. We never could have imagined how helpful this service would be for our family, providing us with the peace of mind that our mother was in such good hands. We felt so fortunate to find this excellent organization and staff and to be provided with such a conscientious and caring person . She truly went above and beyond what we could have expected and made it possible for our mother to stay in her home.

Health care worker Shamona was AMAZING with my Uncle. She's patient and very friendly. My Uncle absolutely loves her and so does our family. We appreciate her and feel like she is part of our family.
