Options For Senior America

I would tell others that the problem is that they are not very detailed. We ran into a lot of scheduling problems and they were confused on the times/days they were supposed to show up. We liked one of the caregivers and she tried her best and the other we used could care less. We used them for a short amount of time and I would not recommend to others looking.

Options was not a good fit for us. We did not like the care-giver they sent nor did we like some of the policies Options had which we were not informed of before hiring them.

The manager of this office is the most unprofessional, poorly spoken and ill knowledged home care professional I've dealth with. I would rather communicate with his office staff one hundred times over before I deal with him again. [Removed], you have put a very sour taste in my mouth and I will never again consider using your services. I am sure the company is great as there are plenty of great reviews but I won't find out.

They were not very reliable for me. The girl they sent was on time for the first few days, and then late or a no show for the rest of the time. They sent me someone else but it didn't appear that person would want to work all of the shifts I needed. I liked John, and I liked the first girl they sent, but it just wasn't reliable.

I would never recommend this company. Their caregivers lacked the basic skills needed to take care of elderly people. I was told the co. did very thorough screening of their caregivers but very rarely was that obvious. They did have a few good caregivers but they would then leave the co. I got Options through the veterans because my dad served in WW2. I tried very hard to be switched to another co. but every time they had a new person I was asked to please try them before the veterans would switch.

I am very disappointed with the lack of care my loved one received from Options for Senior America. They did not have any patience with my mother and where so quick to give up on her care then provide her with patience and comfort with this new adjustment of caregivers in the home. I have cancelled my services with this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

Our caregiver stole from us. Since I was not willing to sue, I received no compassion or help. Not pleased.

When the caregivers showed up they were nice, but inexperienced, and sometimes hungry. There was always something wrong with scheduling,or they just didn't show. I have never been as stressed as I was when Mom was their client.

Unsatisfied with staff and service

The owner seemed nice. But unfortunately the people they sent over were often late and sometimes didn't show up at all. I just found them to be very unreliable. Maybe their services would be better for people needing longer term care. I only needed a couple of hours a couple of days a week, and it did not work out well.

There are some great caregivers within the organization. Unfortunately management changes every 6 months.

Horrible service. Contracted for 4hrs per week. NO service for 3 out of 4 weeks. was billed for hours where no service was provided closed contract would not recommend the agency

This place is a joke and provides terrible service in the Richmond VA area they need to be shut down asap

The worker aides for Options For Senior America never showed up for any of their shifts, so it was absolutely a terrible experience for us. They were just very unreliable and unprofessional and it was awful.

It has been over two weeks and they still haven't been able to find someone to come out. They finally found someone that might work, but say that the fact that our loved one is a smoker might be a problem. They also said that even though my loved one has recently gotten over an infection, it's still a problem because it's still in the blood. I haven't been real impressed so far.
