Options For Senior America

Good company, very responsive. Yes I would recommend their company. I would be helpful if they had more aides that drive in the Baltimore area the amount of certified aides in the Baltimore area seems limited and those that drive or have licenses is fewer

Options came to the rescue when we had a family emergency. Without them I would not have had the support needed for my mom during the emergency

In general, live-in care is very expensive, and so it's hard to compare companies, since we only used Senior Options. Assisted Living has been a better long term solution for us. Senior Options was good for the short term.

We only used the live in care for [name removed] for about 4 weeks back in the fall. They are wonderful to work with. Caregivers were fantastic. Would absolutely recommend their home care services to others.

Moms meals were prepared by her husband. Moms loves to dance. [name removed] did this with mom and made sure she walked. I would recommend them with the understanding that if the client has dementia, the caregiver will need to know how to work with them. Some days mom was not nice to her caregiver which was upsetting for the caregiver. She did her absolute best but it came to a point where she no longer wanted to work with mom. I understood.

I would recommend to try them because It's hard to find caregivers. Options has limited staffing options available. [name removed] did try hard to meet my needs.

Our aid [name removed] was the best. She took very good care of my grandpa. She was compassionate and even though he was stubborn and mean sometimes he loved seeing her. She is a great employee to have for options. You can tell that she cares for her patients and she takes awesome care of their needs.

Make your preferences known and keep an open line of communication Team members never leave before replacement is present which gives me peace of mind.

The administration was wonderful, and very responsive. Again administration was good when I interviewed them I was impressed over others , but the staff did not necessarily get along with my person , she was difficult too as she did not want anyone in her home even though she needed help but when she felt better , she fired everyone!

I heard about A Place for Mom on tv or the radio and the woman I spoke with put me in touch with Options for Senior America.

[Name removed], the caregiver assigned to my mother, has been with us since March 2018. She is compassionate, dependable, and competent. I feel bad for her when she needs a few days off. because the process is not easy.

All services are satisfactory! Our family appreciates the service. La Shonda is a wonderful blessing from God!

Sometimes there is a delay with information. Overall very satisfied with my caregivers. We communicate and like our bond.

We searched online by filling a form and we received information from several services. We contacted different agencies and ended up choosing Options because of the rating and the reviews and because of the type of home care service they provide. Their staff is caring, very efficient, willing to accommodate. The beginning of the service was challenging but now it's good and smooth. The corporate staff is professional, assertive, and responsive to unforeseen incidents of caregivers.

Originally we started out needing someone during the day a few days a week. Then I needed someone in the evening a couple days a week as well. They weren't as able to take care of the evening shift. A couple of the people who were supposed to come didn't show. But Options as a company are very responsive. They really tried to work out that evening shift for us, but I ended up having to go to another agency for the evening shift. For the most part, my needs were satisfied with Options. It was only when I added an additional requirement that they couldn't accommodate, but it wasn't for lack of them trying. And I'm very satisfied with them. I kept them for the day shift. I've had two different caretakers. The first one was very good and stayed with us a long time. I considered her a family member. She was great with my loved one, she cooked, and she tried to get us on a healthy diet. It was good fit. The second person is very good as well, just different. Each person has different types of things they focus on. She calls us sir and ma'am. If she sees me going to the laundry, she says no sir, I'll take care of that. They've both been very good but have different skill sets.

We chose Options for Senior America because we had very few options for someone who would live in permanently, so that was the main reason we went with them. The first caregiver they sent us was not a good fit at all, the second one they sent us has worked out for our family. I would tell others that it is not the agency that matters, it is the person that they send.

The branch office response has been quick and has met expectations. We appreciate the caregiver's service. She is reliable, compassionate and has a great attitude. The quality assurance visits are OK.

The Social worker at the Nursing Center gave us a list of agencies to call. We called a few but Options had the most positive and informative response. We started services in August for 7 days a week. Everything was good and everybody was helpful. A couple of mistakes were made . I called them and it was corrected immediately. Overall experience has been good.

[Name Removed] and her team are wonderful to work with and responsive. We've used them for coverage of my mother on weekdays for almost two years. Her staff are infinitely better than those for other vendors I've used for the same service. It is worth contacting them to explore how they might be able to support you and your loved one(s).

This is for in-home care, not a residential option. [Removed] is great. He's very knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. He answers every question you may have and anticipates ones you have not even though of! My mom has been receiving in home care for about a month. The aides are good. My only complaint is that it is difficult to get information on what the aides are doing during the visits. I had to make my own checklist for them to use.
