Oakmont Senior Communities

Oakmont Parkway is very clean the staff is friendly and considerate. The food is good. The rooms sizes and layout of community is good. They have a beautiful covered porch for the residents and their family to enjoy.

A very nice place, but not what my mom was looking for. All the staff knew the residents names and were all very pleasant and friendly to everyone.

We brought my mother here over a year ago and she did NOT want to go but after a few months even she loved it! We visited Oakmont Livonia first and after seeing a few others came back to it because of the people and the cheery atmosphere and cleanliness of the facility. It is well run with an awesome activity director who keeps the residents happy and active with awesome day trips and luncheons and craft classes and drama and choir. Food is great also! Definitely recommend it for seniors requiring extra assistance with meals, cleaning, laundry etc. Great facility!

This was a beautiful facility with very nice staff and friendly residents. My mother was very taken with this place after the tour and decided that she would like to move in here. We put a deposit down immediately.

My mother fought tooth and nail to go to assisted living but since her arrival to Oakmont Livonia she has been a changed woman! She is healthier happier and more alive than ever! She participates in most activities and has made a lot of friends. She loves it there now! All the employees are great. [Name removed] the activities coordinator plans such fun trips and things to do. [Name removed] and [Name removed] are great leaders also. If it wasn’t for [Name removed] we may not have chosen it. She was very welcoming. First place we came to and the last. We didn’t need to shop around. Knew immediately mother was coming here and we have not regretted this decision!

Mom moved into Oakmont Sterling Heights with severe heart issues. Dad can no longer care for her. This was a very upsetting time for my Mom and Dad since they had been together for over 62 years. [Removed] were great! They quickly responded to any needs, kept a smile on their face and helped Mom get settled comfortably. This is very reassuring to the rest of the family who want the best for their loved ones. The food is good and served hot. The activities team is encouraging. Oakmont lets my Mom have her privacy and also gives her interaction with people during the day. She would not have had this kind of interaction if she would have remained in her home. The beauty shop at the facility is appreciated. The family is still learning about the facility. The entire staff has made this process so easy! The hardest part was the decision making process. All we can say is "Thank You".

My mom was here for 2.5 years and she was so happy and well taken care of. We loved it. The staff was lovely to my mom and to us. They were extremely accommodating. They had a good rehab there. It was clean and nicely decorated. I would recommend them.

We cannot say enough great things about Oakmont Sterling Assisted. They do offer long term care. We moved mom there from a nursing facility where she had not been treated well. Oakmont was half the price. They catered to mom's every need. Food was very good. Entire staff was caring. We wish we had known that they could give the care mom needed before our first choice. When the time came for mom to move to heaven, Oakmont treated our entire family as family. Taking care of us through some of the worst days of our lives. This facility is fantastic. Very nice building. Very clean. Good food. Caring staff.

We moved our parents in to Oakmont Sterling Assisted about 3 months ago. This is the second assisted living community my parents have been in, and I wish I had taken them here to begin with. The facility is new, gorgeous, and spotless. The staff is very friendly, and there are ALOT of them. It's not the cheapest place in town, but considering the quality of everything there, its well worth it if you can afford it.

My mother moved in here approximately a year ago. She is happier than she has been in a long time. The staff is very professional, kind and caring. The facility is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and has a great vibe.

Mom wasn't there very long before being moved to a memory care facility but she loved it. The staff was helpful whenever I called.

I just moved my mother into Oakmont, which is just a mile from my house, and two miles from my brother. Not only is it close, but it has large rooms, and everyone there is very nice, both staff and residents. They are also all inclusive.

My mother and Aunt have lived in Oakmont for 18 mos and I can't say enough good things about the place. All of the employees are so friendly and know all the residents by name. The place is spotless and the activity director (Mary) is the best. The food is also great.

My mother has lived at Oakmont Sterling for about a year. We are very pleased with Oakmont. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly and professional, and my mother is extremely pleased with the food and activities. She has made quite a few friends, and is much happier.

So far, this is the best option for mom. Month to month, no lease required.

excellent presentation. the director was warm and made me feel that i was a part of the oakmont manor family. beautiful and well maintained building and grounds. distance would be my only block.
