Oakmont Senior Communities

My mom says she feels like she is on vacation living here. The only thing I would say they could make it better is if they could get someone to either come in and do a Catholic mass on the weekend or take the people out who would like to go.

This facility was very nice and clean. The Care team was contracted/outside hired company and they seemed less personal. Communication with the family wasn't good, especially when we went out of town. We asked to be kept up to date and they agreed, but there was no follow through. Every place has their issues and I know that. Overall, this one was pretty good all things considered. I would recommend them to friends and family.

We picked this community because it seemed to check off everything that we needed, inclusing prices, the environment, and location was perfect. The advising from staffing, to get everything set-up went well. Overall, we are very pleased.

Oakmont Sterling was able to provide our loved one with additional care which is why we picked it and they are very well staffed.

We were very sad when she couldn't move there. I have worked in long term care for 40 years and this was a well run place. We chose the smallest room we could for the money. It was a good deal as long as you didn't need the extra services. Then of course it was pricey. Such a cute place

My Mother resided at Oakmont Northville for a year before she passed. It was a good experience for her as she was involved in daily activities and made friends among the residents. Her daily meals were provided, laundry was done weekly and her apartment was cleaned. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. The Executive Director and Assistant Director were great and obviously cared about the residents and their well-being. I highly recommend Oakmont Northville.

We have been completely satisfied with our experience at Oakmont Livonia.

The stylist in the beauty salon saw me struggling with packages so she went to get a cart and helped me take everything up the 3rd Floor! What Kindness!

my husband died Easter Sunday 2017. I decided I didn't want the responsibility of my condo and knew about Oakmont. I have been very satisfied even during the pandemic.

I looked at quite a few places for my mother, some had things I really liked and some not so much, but Oakmont had every thing I was looking for, and as the years go by I am more and more content we made the best choice possible.

I love how accommodating they have been to make my aunt so welcome and feel apart of the community and like she has gained so much by living here.

I think its a great place. My loved one loves it. They are cleaning constantly, its very well decorated. The staff is friendly. I would highly recommend it. Family is not allowed to dine with residents still due to covid. Hopefully that ends soon as the pandemic seems to be ending. If you want to eat with your loved one, you had to take the food to your loved one's room. Any help your loved one needs is a charge added to the bill. This is not assisted living. They charge for taking the resident to the dining room, help to shower, etc.

I think that this is an overall nice community for your loved one to be. They have activities like cards, bingo, concerts and more for the residents to do to stay busy in the community. The staff are great.

We have already recommend the community to others and would recommend to you for their loved one. My loved one had to pull the emergency cord and the staff came immediately to assist them. The food is good. There options for meals and additional portions if needed. The building is older and the only issue is the Wifi and phone lines.

The care services are really good and the staff are very impressive. My loved one really likes the meals and they have a lot of activities where people come in and, games and outings to local stores and more for the residents to do.

This is where we are moving my brother in law. It is a little more pricey than his current facility. but it is far superior. We spoke with the culinary staff and they seem to be really on the ball with the food, we were also able to sample some meals. The facility itself is beautiful and they offer a lot of activities. It has a very inviting atmosphere.

The Oakmont Parkway facility has been a great experience so far. We love it there, our loved one loves it there and is happy. Our only issues with with the outside care services they hire not doing their job. The community is great, but the outside care we are having issues with

We chose Oakmont Sterling because of the overall value based on some other ones that we looked into. Also, the friendliness of all the staff members contributed as well. The apartment sizes are larger than most and adequate for her needs. She had no complaints about the food. I had numerous interactions with the manager here and she was outstanding to work with. I would recommend it.
