The medical care at Sunrise at San Marino is excellent. They take really good care of my father, making sure he is clean, eating well, has clean clothes, etc. He looks to be fine and healthy. The staff there is always very helpful and willing to do anything they can about any requests that I make for dad. I just think it's a really nice place and dad is doing very well there.

Former neighbor moved here. Lovely facility. Too expensive for me.

They are doing a good job. More than one parent can make things a little more complicated, we were concerned that they maybe didn't have enough staff for the transition. It's a really nice facility and they do what they can. It was one of the few that was new and clean, and the memory care director is very nice and knows her stuff. She was a big factor in making the choice.

After my mom passed away I reviewed a number of facilities for my 94 year old father suffering from dementia & chose this one even though his level of care was more expensive than the other places. The staff was extremely helpful, understanding & friendly. The 2 room suite I chose was spacious and so nice. The staff pitched in and helped us move his familiar furniture in while he was on an outing. I particularly like the homey, rather than institutional, feel. The dining room is spacious and the chairs are actually comfortable for the seniors. They all have arms and wheels on carpet which makes it so much easier for the residents to get up and down at the table. I have eaten the food there and it is delicious. Since my father's been there they've gone on outings to movies, museums, stores, etc. Plenty of in-house activities going on everyday. Lots to choose from. We have a higher level of care and there's always someone looking in on my father if he's in his room. My father has adapted marvelously and is happy to call it his new home. That's after 60 years in their family home. He has his privacy and maintains his own lifestyle. He's independent (under a watchful eye).

They are very caring, very friendly, and very welcoming. They make us feel very very welcome and at home. The only think I do kind of wish they could be a little more careful about is the food. The food is good, but my dad has a few special dietary requirements that the wait staff does not always remember, and try sometimes to suggest food that he is not able to have. Other than that one exception it has been a very good overall experience and I would certainly recommend them.

We were so worried to move our Mom into a "memory care facility". Oakmont helped us understand and see all that they could do to help our Mom at this time. After one month our Mom looks great, she is standing taller, her skin is healthy and we know this is the right place for Mom to get the care she needs. The staff is very caring and sweet.

The friendliness of the staff went way above and beyond my expectations! My husband needed a lot of special one on one help and care, and they were there to provide it, always doing an excellent job and with a positive attitude. The whole program was completely adequate for our needs. I really can't think of anything that could have possibly done any better.

I must say I have been thoroughly impressed with Sunrise and how they have taken care of my family member in such a caring and compassionate manner. It feels like home and I feel comfortable visiting. The staff is always very friendly and inviting.

My parents moved into Oakmont of Carmichael in Oct 2014 and could not be more pleased with the quick response time, the care and quality and the exceptional food. They offer a wide variety of options of activities to keep everyone not only informed but encouraged to attend and participate. My Mother is in a wheel chair and it is hard for us to get her around. Oakmont of Carmichael not only got her to go on an outing to a concert but made her feel she could do more than she was. They also have a special exercise machine that she can use to exercise her arms and legs without leaving her wheelchair. (The take her down to use it whenever she wants to and stay with her while she exercises to make sure she is safe) The food is amazing. They are 5 star quality and the chef is out of this world GREAT. He does a different soup from scratch each day and the specials are wonderful, If that was not enough the \\We will make whatever you would like\\ option on the standard menu it is like ordering from an endless supply of options, and the rotisserie their own chickens and smoke the salmon right there on site.) The staff is so friendly and helpful above and beyond the call of duty from the Friendly Staff greeting you at the front door, the maintenance staff, the directors, the medical staff from medicine to personal care. My parents were given pendents/call buttons and encouraged to use them for anything including needing a glass of water. They also are equipped with a fall detector is case they fall and can't push the button and it also has a locator so they can be found when I come to visit them. (I found them in the Amazing Theater watching a movie last week)) The apartments are beautiful and large and light with an impressive amount of storage and room to move around in, with 10 foot ceilings and easy enter showers I could go on for hours on all the great qualities of Oakmont of Carmichael but I must get back to work, I feel real good that my parents are in such nice, safe and reliable hands and are happy. Did I mention the fresh cookie available 24/7... Great treat each time I visit

Our Mom is well cared for and she likes the food! Very nice place for mom.

I really like the smaller nature of Emeritus at Laguna Creek. This means really good 1x1 support for mom. I would like them to encourage mom just a little bit more to join in on some of the activities. She enjoys and benefits from being involved, but is a little hesitant to do so on her own.

The number one most important thing is that my mom likes it. She likes the meals, the people (she knows everyone by name) and the place is clean.

Very friendly, wonderful staff, homey atmosphere. Staff very lively. Michelle and Angie are great. They were lovely and welcoming. I would refer my clients to Sunrise Bonita.

I toured and the decor was so cute and victorian. It was pricey but residents looked well cared for and clean. I would recommend.

I work in the industry and actually toured with the sales rep. Michelle was very warm and kind. She showed me around and the feeling I got when I was in the building was comforting. It felt more like a home not a facility. All the staff has smiles it looked like a fun place to work.

High staff to resident ratio during day and night. Line staff are warm and positive, very homey atmosphere.

Sunrise took great care of my father! They were respectful and took the time to get to know him, his preferences and unique needs.<br />All management was prompt to resolve any issues.<br />Awesome place to place a loved one!<br />Thank you Sunrise.

My Grandmother lived at Sunrise of Bonita the staff is amazing they helped me every step of the way. Their caregivers are loving and although it was higher price I believe you get what you pay for.

Dale and his crew have been above and beyond with my mother. They have helped EVERYTHING and made the move in easy and so friendly. The staff is everywhere helping and smiling. Dale has been there early and late helping, smiling and calming down my mother better than I! She texts me to tell me what someone did, the singer that was there that day etc. She is so happy!! Awesome!

The staff here has been very helpful and friendly and that really helps to create a feeling of home. We are pretty happy with them. I don't really have any complaints or anything I would like to see done better at this time.
