We chose Sunrise of La Palma because we really felt comfortable here and it is a smaller community. The staff members knew all the residents by name and you can tell that they really care about them. The facility itself is also very pretty and tropical looking. The room sizes here are good. They have an activities director and I spoke with her yesterday and I really like her. She is great with the elderly residents. I would highly recommend to others looking.

The community is very neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The community is open to feedback and they just really listen. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We did a tour with this community and it was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information to consider.

It is a great place to go, and I have already recommended the community to others. The staff seems to be on top of everything, friendly, and caring. The staff know the family members and the residents. They make sure you don't feel like a stranger here.

Oakmont is a beautiful place. Scott Isaman gave us a tour that covered everything, he was professional, kind and thorough. We were invited to have lunch to have a sample of the food and were very happy with how good it was!. There is absolutely nothing bad that can be said about Oakmont and Scott. I would recommend Oakmont to anyone that needs assisted living.

We toured Sunrise and it was a great tour and a beautiful facility, but it was just too expensive for what we were looking for. I think tours at facilities are always great but what really matters is how they treat your loved one once you have actually moved in.

It's a beautiful facility. They have really nice outdoor areas with gazebos and patios where you can sit and eat lunch when the weather is nice. They have a chef on staff, but the food is a little fancy for my loved one's taste, and a little spicy sometimes. But they work with you and let you pick other things off the menu. She really loves the soups they make. And most people there like the food, so it's just a matter of taste. They have a lot of activities and do things for all the holidays, which has been good. I would highly recommend them to just about anybody. They have been excellent in helping us do pretty much everything. They've had trouble getting help, like everybody else in the area, but they have great people there. The memory care manager is really wonderful. All the girls there are wonderful and have been very helpful, especially the girls in the front office. They really helped me get my loved one moved in and settled. I know my loved one is safe, and they keep an eye on her. I really appreciate the staff a lot.

[name removed] is awesome. She is very professional and doing her best to help us arrange the transfer to her facility. The current facility where our grandmother is are very unhelpful and stalling our transfer. But hopefully with. Stevie’s assistance she will be relocated soon. [name removed] nurse on staff went above my expectations by stopping by with an arrange visit with [name removed] to see grandma and evaluate her.

Oakmont of Simi Valley gave us a great tour, 5 stars. I think it would have been a very good choice.

We chose Sunrise of Studio City because of the closer location to my home. They also were able to take her when we were in a time crunch and were very accommodating to our needs and took a great burden off of me. She is in a studio apartment and it is plenty big for what she needs, especially since she is not in her room a whole lot. Her room has a ton of natural light. Even when covid was going on, they really tried with the activities. Now that everything is opening up, there is just a ton of things for residents to do. I would highly recommend them to others who are looking and already have.

They have large apartments for the residents, and a beautiful separate patio for the memory care side. They are good with schedules, they offer driving to doctors visits etc. The employees are very friendly and seem extremely caring, but right now the activities are still pretty limited.

We chose Oakmont because they offered a full kitchen with a large refrigerator and an oven and she likes to cook so that was important. She wanted the independence of having a washer and dryer so she could do her laundry whenever she wanted, and also she did not feel like she was settling in assisted living. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and that approach all felt really comfortable for her, I love that all the staff here seem to really enjoy their jobs. The facility is very pet friendly, they go out of their way to let you know that your pet is welcome. They have multiple dog parks, dog walking services, etc. The apartment here are the largest that we could find in the area. I would recommend to others looking.

I have been a Assisted Living resident for three years and despite all the inconveniences brought about by COVID 19 I have been completely satisfied. The staff and care workers go to great limits to take care of what each resident needs. Living at Oakmont is reminiscent of some of the resort facilities I have stayed in. Meals have been truly gourmet.

My loved one is really happy there, and that's all that matters. The staff are really nice, and they've been wonderful to her dog. But they're short-staffed, which has affected the services a little bit. Overall, it's clean. The rooms are clean, but the stairwell hasn't been. I imagine not many people take the stairs though. My loved one says the food is very good. The base cost seems affordable, but all the add-ons for services really add up. I feel like they could be more transparent about that. There really is no assisted living unless you pay extra for it.

My father was in failing health and was extremely set against assisted living. Due to the rapid decline and excessive falls, we had no choice but to look for help. We had to move him during the pandemic which added to the stress and reluctance of him wanting to move. However, Oakmont of Orange made the process very easy and welcoming. [name removed] now referred to Oakmont as his home after 6 months! They communicate with our family on a regular basis and every member of their staff has been so professional and caring in every interaction we have had with them. I cannot be happier and so grateful to everyone. Special “shout out” to [name removed]!!!! She is amazing and has a heart of gold.

I would tell others that it is a great place. The staff have taken care of my parents well. It's not to big. The community was supportive of our move in. My parents enjoy the food and have settled into the community nicely. They have movies, happy hour, games, and more for the residents to choose from for activities.

Oakmont of Redding has been wonderful, the community is very clean and we have had no problems so far. The nurses are great, the staff members have been very thoughtful and helpful. The individuals we worked with in the beginning were just fantastic. The grounds are beautiful, the residents can go out and walk around. It overlooks the river which our loved one enjoys, we can sit outside and watch the fishing boats go by. It is just a really nice place.

I would highly recommend to others for their loved ones. The community is modern and clean and this stands out to me. They have a nice patio and a garden area. The grounds are small, though compared to other communities.

Very impressed with the sale rep and the facility. Felt welcomed and like it could be a great place for mom. The location is a little farther south than wanted. But still a great place.
