It is like being in a personal hotel with personal servants. It is an awesome place for your loved one.

The staff members and the care services are excellent, and the value for cost is fair. Our first impression of Sunrise was that it is not to large and nobody was just sitting around doing nothing. It is a very pleasant place and atmosphere to walk into.

We had a great tour with Oakmont of Simi Valley. They answered all our questions and gave us the information we needed.

We chose Sunrise at Wood Ranch because of the location of their memory care unit, we liked that it is its own separate wing and it is spacious. Most memory care are heavy on women and lower on men, this one had a great ratio and we just felt like it was a better fit for him so he could make some friends. The room sizes here are great. The administrative staff that helps with on-boarding is really great. they went above and beyond for our family to help us go through this process. He does really enjoy the meals, there is a lot of variety on menu, I would recommend to others looking.

We visited 5 or 6 other facilities and when we saw Oakmont we knew it was the one, there was no doubt that this one was the best one that we saw. My husband has a nice size apartment with a beautiful view of the river. The whole place is amazing, especially the staff. They really make the facility great, they know all the residents names and their personalities. I would recommend and already have.

My mom is doing really well here, it is night and day than what she was before. We chose this facility because when we walked through the door, [name removed] greeted us and went above and beyond, she is absolutely amazing. The fact that there is the ability for a parent to have their own peers has been amazing for my mom, it is so important. I would highly recommend to others.

My mother is so happy where she is. They keep her busy and active. The facility is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly and always available. I couldn't be happier with moving my mother to this facility.

I think we were at an advantage because our dad had seen Oakmont before when looing for a place for a different relative, and he remembered it and was open to it. Overall we thought it would be a good fit for both our parents, with one in need of assisted living and the other in need of memory care. We felt like it would be a good place for both of them. There's a dog in the memory care unit and some birds, which is great for mom. They even brought in some ponies, and my mom was very happy to see those. I like that I can talk to both of my parents whenever I want. I like the interaction with the staff. I feel like they know me, even though I live in another state. They seem equally engaging and friendly as when we were first came through to tour. The other residents in the community seem pretty happy as well, and that makes me feel confident. It's clean, and the food looks appetizing. They're also really strong in activities, especially considering the Covid situation. They're doing the best they can. I would like to see field trips and other opportunities for them to get out, but I think they're doing a great job. It's everything that I need and want for my parents. They're very accommodating. They bring in a dental hygienist, a podiatrist, and hair stylist. There's a pool, a movie theater, a ballroom, three baby grand pianos and an upright in memory care. They have all of the amenities I would want them to have. All in all it's been a good fit for my parents.

It is a smaller community, very clean and the staff is very friendly. Your loved one would definitely get the care they needed here. The staff is great at keeping the residents in engaged in trips around town. The food served is wonderful. The community is all on one floor. They are on the expensive side.

I toured Oakmont of Fresno and it is a very nice facility, I felt good about it. They have independent living, assisted living, and memory care. I was able to eat a meal and was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. If it was up to me, I would have placed my mother here. The cost was comparable, but in the long term the other facility was cheaper as care increased.

I have to admit 5 years ago I was drawn to Oakmont by the gorgeous facility, with its beautiful courtyard, high ceilings with huge windows and bathrooms designed for senior with roll in showers, beautiful dining facility with gourmet meals. But after 5 years what has kept us here is the people, both residents and staff. The community size is ideal— small enough that the residents are not only neighbors, but friends. Moms caregivers are just the most wonderful caring people that know and treat her like family. The dining room servers are just amazing, not only serve food, but companionship, and watch out for the residents. The activity director is just wonderful, caring, engaging, knows how to work with seniors. The Healthcare director is really outstanding (I’m a healthcare professional) and the Executive Director really knows every job in senior care first hand and has made outstanding hires. I couldn’t be happier with my choice for senior care for my 91 year old mother!

We toured with Oakmont of East Sacramento, and it is a beautiful facility. The only reason we did not choose this facility was because there was a waiting list at the time we were needing to place my loved one.

We toured with Oakmont of El Dorado Hills, and it was a nice place. They were not as accommodating with my loved one's situation, so we went with another facility.

We had to move our loved one from memory care to assisted living and [name removed] and [name removed] was extremely accommodating. They set up our loved ones room so quickly. They have made our loved one feel very welcomed and comfortable. Our loved one has been very satisfied so far, and the activities are opening back up. The community has a lovely rose garden, it is absolutely phenomenal our loved one calls us all the time saying she walked around the garden. The dining service is very nice, they have nice lined tables where the staff members will come up to the residents and give them different meal options to choose from. People are always smiling there and mingling with each other, that was one of our major measuring sticks to make sure this was going to be the place for our loved one.

Excellent place to stay when you reach the age. Good activities and food.

This was our first tour experience, and it definitely had a wow factor. Maybe it seemed more exceptional because it was a bigger facility. They had a great big dining room. But their Memory Care stood out as well, with features I wasn't seeing at other places. They had a unique security feature on some of the doors, which were designed to look like a library shelf. So the resident with dementia wouldn't even know it was a door and therefore wouldn't try to go through it. They also had headphones that they called "Whispers" for residents who were hard of hearing, which most are in Memory Care. So the residents would put on their headphones, and the caregiver staff and visiting family members could speak and be understood without having to shout or repeat themselves.

I feel that my mom is safe and that she is well cared for. She is getting proper nutrition, and her medications are being administered properly, in a timely manner and at the appropriate time. Both her mental health and physical health have been cared for very well. I've definitely seen improvement in her from before when she was living alone to now living at Oakmont. The activities are really good and engaging for her in memory care. The activities director really tries to get the residents engaged, and they have excitement in their voice when they say "Hey, let's go do __," which I really appreciate.

Very nice amenities! Loved this place! They have memory care available in the event of needing that level of care.

We chose Oakmont of Fullterton because of all of the above reason where I gave them a 5. The room sizes here are good size for what it is needed for. I do think they could have more communication with family members, maybe updates bi-weekly or something like that. But they are quick to answer and very responsive whenever I call. Overall I would recommend to others looking.
