Did a tour of the cottages , talk to a lovely lady named [name removed], she was very knowledgeable and help answer all Our questions , we are looking for a very near future place for our mother , the cottages are on the top Of our list .

I'd rate ALL of these questions a: FABULOUS 5! Oakmont in Folsom was absolutely OUTSTANDING! Kind, caring and sincere resident support staff. Helpful and efficient maintenance staff. Beautiful facility and delicious meals and service. Responsible DON and management team.

Please don’t steal my mom’s space on the waiting list! Joking aside, this is a gem for Asian seniors since 75% are Asian in this community that isn’t too big, too small, but just right. I’ve seen sons and daughters coming here and witness the love they have for their parent and no judgment since not all of our ethnicity can care for our parents in our own homes. This place seems to respect and honor the ethnic traditions and mores that the second generation is trying to uphold.

After visiting several facilities in south Orange County, we felt that Ivy Park of Wellington was the best fit for my parents. The size of the apartments were larger than others, and having a kitchenette was a big selling point. Having a memory care section was also very important to us, to ensure a smoother transition in later life stages. The staff is very accommodating and they care about each resident individually.

It's a great facility. We picked because of the levels of care offered. I would recommend to others.

[names removed] were all extremely helpful in getting my mom settled into the Cottages. They made the admissions process go as smoothly as possible. It has been a huge relief for my sister and I to know that mom has great care and has a beautiful newly renovated place to live. The staff is friendly, kind and caring. Mom is very happy living at the Cottages. That brings my sister and I much peace of mind.

We are happy with Ivy Park's memory care. The environment is cheerful, friendly and clean. The we are thankful for the one on one communication we have with staff and management. They are quick to answer our questions and to offer help and suggestions. The new director sends regular updates to the resident's families is available by phone and email. They do their best to keep the residents engaged in activities. We really like that the facility is like a cottage and the residents can walk the grounds safely in a confined garden area. They are free to read or visit in a comfortable patio.

The facility is 1st class. It's kept clean and the furnishings are fairly new. The staff is attentive and kind to my brother. He resisted being placed initially, but has settled in now. I trust them to look after his welfare.

They do a very good job of taking care of my mother. The staff works hard and they are very consistent about taking care of our needs I. Recommend this place to anyone. They do a good job with activities for my mother.

I would happily go there if the need arises- or my girls might just decide to send me there They helped me navigate Mom's needs as they changed, were great non-judgmental listeners and offered advice when asked. They treated mom with respect. Even mom, who had strong opinions about people in general, often told me how wonderful the staff was. My daughter visited other local facilities for me (I was in NY with mom) and she recommended Ivy Park for its warm, homey environment. Provided all levels of care-from independent to fully dependent (feeding, toileting, etc) with kindness and respect. Good communication with family. We secured a beautiful one bedroom apartment in the memory wing at Bonaventure for my wife who suffered with dementia. Sadly, by the time we were able to move her into her room at Bonaventure, she entered hospice care and passed away a short time later. As hard as it was to go through, one ray of sunshine was our experience with Bonaventure. The staff were caring and friendly, the facility was clean and well decorated, her room was large and inviting, and most of all, the residents I got to know during our short time there were all happy and comfortable. The care giver to resident ratio was excellent at less than 1:10 whereas some other places we visited were 1:20 or higher. The rooms were also nicer. Ours was newly renovated and more like an apartment rather than just a room like the others. We had a large living room space with a separate bedroom and nice big bathroom. Pricing was also very competitive. Based on my brief experience, I highly recommend Bonaventure.

The meals and dining is getting better and it is a very nice place to live but it is expensive. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families

We moved my mom in a month ago and she has been doing wonderful ever since. She's had so many issues at home by herself that we worried it would be hard for her to make the change into assisted living but the team at Ivy Park has been so helpful.

Staff is very involved and has her best interests always in mind. Sachi in at level zero meaning an independent renter yet they will notice she has missed dinner and will check on her. Beautiful back yard just remodeled. Lobby is very secure with a sign in and name sticker to identify non residents. Food is actually excellent but [name removed] is Japanese and some of her desires aren't really possible from Ivy Park's cafeteria's perspective. It's really been a huge boost in [name removed]s quality of living

Our 98 year old mother moved into Ivy Park this past spring. She really enjoyed the lovely environment; her apartment, the facility and its’ grounds. The staff members were all warm, kind, caring, patient and respectful. Our mother’s condition did fail after a few months due to her underlying medical conditions. Of course, we would have wanted her to have had a lot more time there; it wasn’t meant to be. However, with the help from hospice and the wonderful care from the facility’s care managers and medication technicians, we were able to keep our mother in her apartment until she passed.

Beautiful facility that's well kept, very friendly staff, with great communication to families. No nickel and diming over "point system" for care, instead everyone pays a bit more for rent and less for variable care levels. I like that it's right next door to my father's church so he can go every Sunday. And that they have consistent, reliable transportation for wheelchair bound residents. They also have a nice, well stocked cafe for residents and families to come get free coffee and snacks. And they have a lot of activities for residents to engage in daily, if they want.

I like that the staff greet us by name and give us a quick update on Mom when we walk in. They are quick to point out things to keep track of and to mention to her doctor. The grounds are beautiful and well kept up. Mom loves the gardens. We had a quarterly meeting on her care. They could have raised our cost, but instead said she needs less help now than when she arrived so they are lowering the care cost. Who does that?!
