I have been looking at Assisted Living for a couple weeks now for my father and was not very impressed with any until I met with [name removed] here at Chino Hills. She really listened to what I was looking for and was able to help me come up with a plan to make sure my father was safe. There are 6 of us siblings and I'm battling with my sister who wants my father to move near her in Arizona but I want my father here at Oakmont of Chino Hills. Everyone was extremely friendly and the residents genuinely looked happy.

They come in and clean and do laundry once a week. Excellent service. Excellent staff and nurses. Very friendly reception and everyone wants residents to get involved in activities. The chef is excellent and will cook something to meet your needs. My mother has a studio and she has a full size bed, recliner, small table with two chairs, dresser and television. It has a small area with sink and microwave. Amenities are great. There's something to do every hour of the day and the gentleman that heads activities is excellent! They also have a theater room with theater seating.

This facility is new, modern and they do a great job. They have excellent dining options and a very friendly staff. The Memory Care side has continuous activities throughout the day for the residents. The Assisted Living side includes a small library and a free movie theater (2 movies daily). They have weekly "road trips" to local sites, like the beach. It is located in an upscale residential neighborhood, so it is a very safe area. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

Facility is extremely pet friendly which is not common but was our number one requirement. We r very pleased with that. There are always concerns and bumps in the road as someone moves to a new situation. Ivy Park is very good about addressing concerns and has tried very hard to help my sister adjust. Price seems very high but seems to be in line with other facilities. After 2 months the situation is running smooth. Food is complicated especially in memory care. Entrée choices are not given like in assisted living. If you don't want the one entrée you can have a sandwich. Maybe some more choices would help. Our family feels very good about our family members safety at Ivy Park.

Evergreen Cottage for mildly impaired memory guests is very nice. It is a separate cottage where they can go to an outside patio in the back to sit, read, etc. There is a short fenced path they can walk. There is an enclosed veranda in the front. It gives a feeling of freedom. The staff is very kind and helpful. Evergreen Cottage was the reason we chose Ivy Park.

Ivy Park at Pleasanton has been a great experience over all. No complaints. The staff members there amazing here. They make it a fun environment for the residents by always having positive attitudes. My aunt seems to be getting wonderful care, as she has improved through her time there. We would recommend this community to other families.

I am absolutely pleased with The Palms of San Lauren community. They have been very professional and courteous. My mom was having problems with her medication but it was with the doctor and not The Palms. She is currently using their PA and receiving medicine from their preferred pharmacy with no problems.

I recently moved my mother into this retirement community during the holiday season, and I must say, I couldn't have made a better choice. The holiday dining experience provided for the residents was nothing short of exceptional. Chef [name removed], in particular, deserves a special mention for his incredible culinary skills. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. What truly impressed me was the level of dedication and care shown by the staff. Even the Executive Director was actively involved, running food out to the residents. It was heartwarming to see everyone working together to create a memorable holiday experience for the residents. The atmosphere was warm and festive, with tasteful decorations that added to the holiday spirit. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the event, from the table settings to the impeccable service. As a nervous newcomer, I was relieved to witness the genuine sense of community and the genuine care for the residents.

They really enjoy the food and the dining experience. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families, but not for seniors that need a lot of care though. Better for those who still function on their own. We may need to find a facility that provides more 24 care.

It was a good experience as I was told what to expect, what was offered.. there were a few reasons I chose this community.. I thought it would be a good fit for my brother; it is a very nice place and clean, and the food is good, and he can go down to eat when he feels like it. Also, they seem to be pretty helpful.

The people there were interested in my MIL. They knew how to listen; honest; transparent about her routine while she stayed there. Everyone was friendly with her and us. I highly recommend Ivy Park over other local facilities. My husband and I are forever thankful for their care.

The staff are extremely responsive to both residents and family members. Also, they exert effort to know the individual needs and interests of each resident.

My dad has been at Oakmont of the Lakes for 2.5 years. I can honestly say it has saved his life. He was on a downward spiral prior to him going to live at Oakmont and the change has been tremendous. Not only do the staff take great care of him, the social network he has has been crucial to adding to his quality of life. The "head lady" (as my dad affectionately refers to her as) treats all the residents like they are members of her own family. The driver has befriended my dad and always makes sure he has everything he needs whether it's a trip to the doctor, to Walmart or whenever he and his friends want to go out to a restaurant (as long as it's scheduled in advance if course). The med techs are consistent in delivering his medication per the doctors orders, there is a fitness facility where he can go exercise and where he can get physical therapy. This place is a great value especially considering the quality care he receives. so grateful to Oakmont of the Lakes!!

I have known the staff at Oakmont and loved this facility since 2020. My mother who was 83 at the time and in the middle of Covid needed memory care and the location was 5 min from my home. I was immediately impressed with not only how spotless and new the building was but how large the residents rooms were with big windows and staff that really cared. During her last 3 years, Mom had care better than I could have provided. Mom had custom ordered meals and often the Chef would personally come over to visit. The nurses are very capable on the care of wounds and medication. [name removed], the Director of Memory Care does it all and its obvious all the residents and families are special to her. You'll be impressed by the staff from the maid to the bus driver to everyone in between. I actually had fun visiting Mom and making friends there. Now that Mom has passed, I still go back to visit. When you're at Oakmont, you're at home. Amazing place for your loved one's final years. Great place.

Overall, it's been a very pleasant experience. My wife and I came here and my wife passed away but I decided to stay because I like living here. Make some friends and interesting people. Always liked the activities.

I've been here 2 and a half years. Well pleased with the employees that they have : the medical staff, with the culinary department. All the activities you can ever want . So many activities that you can participate in. Movies that are always good, matinee and primetime. Doctor appointments are accommodated. I'm very pleased that they have Bible study twice a week. I'm very pleased with the residents that live here. Very nice and wonderful people.

I was looking to exit a SNF for many reasons. I ended up finding a woman who did a search for me to find a qualified assisted care facility. After a long involved search I was presented a few options. One of which was Oakmont Of Orange. I met [name removed] the OO senior administrator who interviewed me for acceptance. We talked about what my needs were and what to expect. Obviously we also talked about the cost and what was involved. Coming from a skilled nursing facility. I knew the cost would be substantially different as it was all on my dime with no insurance coverage and I accepted that. I agree to become a part of OO. I have been quite impressed with the staff who always seem to be upbeat and supportive. Therapy has been consistent and more intense than the SNF. I’m here now about a month and I wonder why I didn’t come sooner Great staff, upbeat facility, good food everything I was promised by [name removed] when the process started. I’m glad I came to OO

We chose Westmont of Milpitas because of the cleanliness, almost brand new, and it was the best value (all places about the same price). They have been awesome They clearly love their work there It seems like more than a job for them

I give Oakmont a 5 for all the categories that are listed. I could not have asked for a better place or better staff. This was a dream place for Mom. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Oakmont is the best place around. I love being here. [name removed] always has something fun planned out. The meals are great. The kitchen here has an amazing menu for us. I can always look forward to our outings.
