Admin staff is good, but fortunately the daily care staff and nurses are excellent. Admin is more business casual. Highly recommend. I visited many that I could barely find a parking spot. This has gated underground parking. Staff are present at all times to watch, care for and interact with residents. In some facilities residents just wandered around with little supervision.

Still transitioning so can't clearly comment on all.. but w love the kindness of the staff and cleanliness of the complex

I would give a 5 rating for all 8 categories. We have been very satisfied with Oakmont of Carmichael. It's clean and the Care Providers (the people that tend to our mom) are very nice. The response time when my mom clicks her button to when the Care providers show up is usually pretty good (10 minutes or 15 minutes response time). And Oakmont isn't too large of a facility, so it's easy to get to my mom's room and not get lost. It's very expensive though.

5 across all of them. They were amazing even past when Dad passed away. Very clean. Always there to fix things. Friendly staff. They went above and beyond.

We found this place after searching the Eastbay for a location that would care for our 90+ year old mom that has a colostomy bag. It’s not easy selecting a place that will be skilled & attentive. The staff does a wonderful job making sure she takes her medication and gets to her meals on time. There are many opportunities for residents to interact with others. The staff makes sure to include my mom when possible. Her health has improved since moving in to Ivy Park Oakland. I recommend highly.

I’m really looking forward to my Dad staying at Ivy Park. It was such a pleasure working with Honey, too. She is knowledgeable, caring, accommodating, and even went the extra mile in getting paperwork handled for my Mom. Healthcare challenges can be daunting, but I am grateful to have had Honey in our corner. She was a huge help and I have total confidence that my Dad will be happy here. Thank you!

I moved a very good friend of mine into Ivy Park Assisted Living about 6 weeks ago. I leased a Studio Apartment for him. The facility is lovely. It is absolutely sparkling clean and feels like a hotel. It is decorated very tastefully. The staff and employees are extremely respectful, nice and compassionate. I highly recommend Ivy Park.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Oakmont of Westpark, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always going out of their way to ensure comfort and satisfaction. The facility itself is modern and beautifully designed, with spacious rooms that are well-maintained and thoughtfully furnished. The common areas are inviting, creating a sense of community that is so important in senior living. The dining options are top-notch, offering a variety of delicious meals prepared with fresh ingredients. It’s clear that the chefs care about providing nutritious and tasty meals for the residents.

The people at Ivy Park, who sheltered and cared for my husband in the last weeks of his life, made the worst possible situation comfortable for him, and bearable for my family and me. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My mom moved into the Oakmont in [date removed] (so she has been living there for about a year now). The facility is bright and light. It feels like a nice contemporary hotel and everything is kept immaculate. The rooftop garden is a great amenity and in general there's a good variety of different spaces (bistro, activities room, movie theater). It feels spacious and never claustrophobic. Her apartment is also pleasant and gets lots of natural light. The schedule of activities is full with daily walks, movies, discussions, bridge sessions, exercise classes, and more. I think lots of people have images of senior facilities as grim and sad, and that's not been my experience at the Oakmont at all. I don't live in the Bay Area but have visited maybe eight times over the last year with each visit to California including four or five days of dropping by the Oakmont for meals and to spend time there. The staff and nurse have accommodated us recently through a cognitive episode my Mother went through for 4 weeks. Yes, there was a cost impact because they had to escalate their care for my Mother, but they were very helpful and understanding through the process.

My mother was living in a very nice assisted living facility in Chatsworth but she needed more support. We moved her to Ivy Park’s Memory Care in Simi Valley. She has been there now for a couple of months and our family has been very happy with her care. The staff is friendly and attentive. The facility is beautiful.

From the day of move in, the IVY team has been attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. Adapting took Pops some time, but the staff kept him busy and engaged with activities, reminders and prompts. Being able to personalize his room with the artwork of 4 generations has made him comfortable and challenges his memory skills. Daily calisthenics at 94, walking the hallways and the garden path around the building, or a game of volleyball with pool noodles and beach balls with a laughter and smile i have truly missed. It is great to have him close to home and well cared for!

I’m impressed and grateful for the staff’s caring, even when my spouse is being ornery! Meals seem satisfying and the activities interesting. I particularly like the courtyard and walking area which is initially the prime reason l chose this place. Definitely check it out to see if it will be a good fit for you.

The help and support they gave us during our dilemma with my mother in-law was exceptional. We were able to bring her to Ivy Park from a terrible nursing home. After evaluation she was put under hospice. The care from Ivy Park to help us and take care of mom was wonderful. They worked hand in hand with hospice. A team. When mom wouldn't cooperate with rehab and medication a meeting was called with me and those in charge. We brainstormed together. Sadly my 94 year old mom did not want to live. Ivy Park is beautiful, caring and a great partner to work with in caring for our parents. We highly recommend Ivy Park Assisted living.

I recently toured Oakmont of Concord and was truly impressed. The community has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The dining experience was exceptional, with delicious meals and excellent service. Overall, it’s a wonderful community that prioritizes comfort and quality living.

We loved ivy park for the week my mom lived there. The facility was super nice. Food outstanding and staff superb. She passed away unexpectedly only a week after move in. I am happy to answer any questions you have.

My parents have resided at Ivy Park Murrieta CA for two years. Their every need has been met by the loving and capable staff. The facility is beautiful and clean and feels more like a resort than an assisted-living facility. Amenities, activities and entertainment for all interests are daily and too numerous to mention here. Residents are friendly and supportive of each other. The top-notch chef and staff prepare and serve nutritious and beautiful meals and treats for every need. Our family feels blessed to have such a safe and happy place for our beloved parents.

She not only answered all my questions but also provided valuable insight into how assisted living works, which I really appreciated. The range of amenities available at Oakmont of Brookside was impressive, and it is clear that they strive to create a vibrant and engaging community for their residents. Overall, my experience left me with a positive impression of Oakmont of Brookside, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

It's a wonderful place the staff is fantastic. It's always very welcoming as you enter the door Very clean The staff is always engaging with the residence with games or activities . As you walk down the hall, all stuff members always greet you with a smile and say hello it has a home atmosphere. Whenever you might have a problem or need help, you can count on them to be there for you.
