Staff are very nice BUT they're so busy with so many patients that they don't take care of her like they should. My mother in law was falling at least 1 time a week at the beginning.

It was Westmont when my mother was there. The administration staff was incredibly helpful to us on every level. If they have the same staff. Food was ok. Only activities I saw was coloring and puzzles, nothing active.

I would say their communication could be more organized. I would have liked a step by step outline of the process. There was some miscommunication in the beginning and we lost an apartment that we liked and I could have used a more step by step for the move in and drop off. They are all very kind and professional. The folks at the front desk are kind. Kyleigh the medical director is amazing.

In my own opinion Ivy Park is a beautiful place but overall I couldn't help feeling that the memory care side (Evergreen) is short staffed. My mom needed more care and attention than they could give her which caused her to lose weight rapidly and she also contracted Pink eye while in their care. I have no idea why Patient Zero wasn't quarantined but it spread and my Mother caught it. The short staff do they best they can do with to take care of the residents but the residents outnumber the nurses about 15 to 1. In my time visiting Evergreen I never saw more than 3 nurses working at the same time to care for the residents in that unit. Unfortunately my Mother was left unattended too much and her health was suffering because of it. She suffered from Lack of sleep and lack of making sure she was eating. If your loved one can feed themselves and voice their concerns to the staff then your loved one maybe a better candidate for memory care.

They were fast and efficient administratively. They did not actively integrate my loved one into programs and activities which meant she stayed in her room a lot.

My mother is a resident of Ivy Park due to her progressing dementia. While I appreciate the staff for taking on the difficult and important work of caring for individuals with memory issues, I have growing concerns about the level of communication and oversight. This facility appears to be “old school” in its operations, with little to no technological support that would allow family members to monitor care or stay informed about their loved one’s well-being. My mother frequently tells me that no one has checked on her or that she hasn’t eaten all day. With a phone call or two, I can often verify that she is wrong, but it’s unsettling that there’s no reliable system in place for family members to confirm day-to-day care without directly tracking someone down. Facilities that care for vulnerable populations, especially those with memory impairments, should have systems in place to provide transparency and peace of mind to families. Regular updates, meal and wellness tracking, or at the very least, consistent communication would go a long way. I hope the administration will consider modernizing their approach and implementing tools that improve both resident care and family engagement. In the meantime, I continue to advocate for my mom the best I can.

It's very clean and bright, the staff are friendly and it's a pretty convenient location. Nothing needs improvement, you just have to be the right fit to enjoy living there.

What I like the most about Ivy Park is the activities for the memory care residents, there is always something for them. I think communication between staff caregivers could be improved on

All caregivers are angels and have difficult jobs. I would recommend Rosewood for very elderly patients who don't need much hands on care or attention. It's a nice place for singles to live out their final days. I would recommend it for people who don't have many health issues. Love it. One mile or less from a major hospital and medical offices plus they have weekly outings to Trader Joe's and other grocery stores and they go to museums, plays, restaurants (like Olive Garden) . They also have field trips across the parking lot to the independent living side to use the gym and swimming pool. One of the chefs worked for Princess Diana... There are also cottages for independent living. We didn't look into that at all because we needed assisted living. It has worked out well.

The place was beautiful and staff was very nice. Unfortunately their hospice setup wasn’t the best. They have hospice ‘come in’ daily but not there most of day. Hospice rooms have NO furniture, bedding, towels, tv, etc. I had to bring in night stand, lamp, chairs to sit in, and tv with stand( cable is provided. The place sent her back to St Joseph’s hospital where she laid in a hallway for 2 and 1/2 days before being moved to other hospice place which had beautiful furnished large rooms with 100% hospice staff, and my sister finally got appropriate pain meds!!

As you may know, the entire facility was just acquired and by Westmont before this happened, they lost the executive director and the whole place seem to be in chaos for a period of time. I have difficulty knowing who to talk to about what over there and they really only reach out to me for paying the bills. I am disappointed in the level of proactive interaction with family And with. Creating. Processes that support our needs with platforms that can be used to track progress. I hope that with the new ownership, they will bring a new level of technological efficiency and better leadership and more consistent staffing. My dad likes it there and I'd like to keep him there.

Communication with families is very poor. They do not initiate any communications. Have to force the communications which includes reaching out multiple times to get any response to questions or concerns. High management turnover. At this point I would not recommend them. Hopefully when they get a new facility director and new assisted living director (the 3rd in the 4 months my mom has been there) things will change but I am not holding my breath

My husband is extremely unhappy here. He will not join in any activities. I feel like I was able to take better care of him at home. He just lays in bed all day unless I am here. He doesn’t particularly like the food although it looks very appetizing.

Overall my loved one is adjusting well. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

When we left they had activities person leave. Planned movies across the hall from my dad room never happened. My sister had to ask and after living there 4 months they figured how to operate movie so he finally see a movie. Assisted living was not something he could adjust to. My dad was there a total of 8 months. He grew tired of things that bugged him after a time. Menus not posted ahead of time. He got that weekly which made him happy. Excursions to casinos happened right before he left. He wished it could have been earlier. The place was nice just not what he wanted.

While everyone looked to be receiving good care, and the facility looked clean and welcoming, we did not choose Ivy Park due to the administrative staff not being upfront about costs. We made it well into the process, but realized at assessment that we were misquoted on costs for such things as medication management. We were sorely disappointed at the added costs, hundreds of dollars above ($[removed]+ above quote) above quote when touring. I understand that this is a business, but to be strung along like this, when they knew the costs were already high, was not just wrong, it was unethical. Sorely disappointed. When I confronted the tour guide, her response was defensive and rude, instead of being apologetic and humble. She came across like a different person than the sweet and caring guide we had worked with for several months while making this decision. That tells me a lot. My mom was in tears today, which was heartbreaking.

I really wouldn't recommend it to others. It was close to our home, the staff was friendly and kind. But the food was so dreadful that it only lasted 3 months.

The administrative staff, intake person was very pushy and difficult. We went to check out the facility in mid-December. She immediately told me they had just one room available and o needed to put down $[removed] to hold the spot. Then we had to move my dad before the end of the year. I told her we couldn't move him until mid January. She insisted we had to live him within two weeks of deposit. She didn't give us the paperwork needed to get my dad admitted. She refused to send any paperwork to our father's doctor. The previous facility in Modesto helped with every aspect of paperwork. Not pushy. And we're really helpful. [name removed] at Rosewood is really their only bright light. She was VERY helpful and caring. The caregivers were incompetent. And not at all qualified to do the job they were doing. My dad's health declined dramatically after moving him to Rosewood. The caregivers let my dad sit in respiratory distress for hours. They finally called me saying he was "nonresponsive." I sent my sister to check on him. The state he was in prompted my sister to call 911. The paramedics were appalled that it took numerous hours for them to even call his family. And that they didn't take the initiative to call 911 themselves. When [name removed] was there she was very good, but the caregivers were not. Granted my father was difficult to deal with and had acute dementia. But the care was less than adequate in my opinion.

The facility is lovely and the food is excellent. There are no outside bus trips that I know of except for Wednesday lunch at various restaurants. The main problem is that the staff sometimes say things will happen and they don't happen and we get charged for things that don't happen Please be aware that this facility definitely caters to those individuals without any cognitive impairment.

I'm not sure if would recommend others . We've had problems there. They don't really take care of them like they should (memory care). We had to hire someone to take care of our mom during the night because she kept falling. The person that takes care of her told us that they don't see her every 2 hours like they should
