The Sunrise concept is sort of the standard for what a premium senior community can provide. Great people, great facility, great approach. Only good things to say about this facility.

We toured here when we were looking. It was a nice place and was not completely unreasonable in price. Unfortunately they didn't have an opening at the time. I didn't look as closely as I could have, since with no openings, they weren't really an option for us.

Very clean, warm and welcoming community. The residents were engaged and supervised. The staff appeared to know and care about the residents. The grounds were appealing.

Very helpful and friendly staff and the residents seem quite happy.

I called to ask prices for a 1 bedroom before I made the appointment. I was quoted 500.00 less than the actual price when I showed up for the tour. I was told on the phone that the app. Fee would also be wave, but during the tour I was told that I would have to pay an app fee. It was over 2000.00.. I don't recall the exact amount, but it is ridiculous. No amount of paper work is worth that. They should pay me for having to fill out the papers. I was totally turned off by the tour guide/ male Lin/ salesman. There were so many conflicts between what I was told on the phone and what the tour guide told me. I was certainly and purposely misled.

The Sunrise of Monterey is a nice community. The only minor issues I have is that It's expensive. I would also prefer if my mom had more access to her supplements and medications when she wants. Overall, it has been a good experience. The facility itself is very clean. The staff is very friendly and nice. The care services are good. They offer a variety of activities for the residents. The value could be better.

The Watermark is a wonderful place overall.The facility itself is fantastic! It is always very clean, and has a warm, comfortable atmosphere. It's tastefully decorate, but not overly grandiose. One thing that really struck me is that it is actually a very fun place to visit, it doesn't feel like your typical "senior community" at all! Unfortunately, there were some glitches with the move in experience and my friend did not initially receive the level of care we expected in helping her acclimate to the new environment. However, I think now that things have settled down the experience will improve immensely. I recently met the new director and program director and they were both warm, friendly, and professional individuals and I'm very encouraged by the way they responded to my concerns and have followed through to turn things around.

Very nice tour and feel to the property lots of amendments. Liked the friendly personnel. A little on the pricey side. Location in Pacific Beach makes for a longer commute.

We didn't stay because it wasn't up to my loved one's expectations. They had a more regimented way of doing things that was difficult to adjust to. There were also a lot of little complaints, it took a while for the staff to find her clothes that I had put away, so they didn't change her clothes very often. She felt the water was too cold and just a lot of things that didn't work for her. Overall when it comes to how clean, and friendly, and attentive they are.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Lack of communication between shifts. Very beautiful community. They only clean the rooms once a week, more often would be better. I think they should improve the meals.

this place was really nice, i got the tour from Dale. However this is not a good fit for my brother.

My mother is living there and insists on doing things for herself, but when she lets the staff help her, they are doing a good job. I think they are understaffed though and could use a few helpers for their different cottages. They have a lot of activities, but the residents have to go to the residence center, which can be hard to get to sometimes. When my mother goes to an activity, she seems to enjoy.

So far it's going okay. They are responsive and friendly. They handle the place very well, but they did have a setback with the boiler. That is the only reason I wouldn't give a five, everything else deserves a five.

Overall our experience with Sunrise of West Hills has been a good one. The staff is comprised of incredibly friendly and caring people, and they've all been wonderful to Mom. She really seems to be happy here! We have had a few complications, however. The facility is on the larger side, and sometimes small details seem to get lost in the shuffle, we had some issues with lost paperwork during the move in process, and sometimes Mom's dietary requirements are overlooked. But overall I think they do a great job here, and I would recommend them highly.

I met with Shannon the nurse and she gave me piece of mind knowing my mothers meds would be taken care of. at the last community she was at the nurse gave him a wrong med so I was paniced. Shannon contacts me whenever there is a change. She is GREAT! Communication is what I appreciate.

My dad only stayed there at Atria Sunlake for a little over a month before passing away, so my experience was very limited. I will say thought hat it was a very nice place with friendly people that offered excellent care.

It is really a beautiful facility at Sunrise of Tustin, and very well taken care of. They have really nice staff. One area for improvement is that I think they could be more responsive. When you push the button for assistance it sometimes can take a little while longer than I think it should for them to respond.

I really like the way the staff at Sunrise of Playa Vista interact with the residents. They treat them as adults worthy of respect rather than looking down on them as I have noticed some other places tend to do. It is an extraordinarily well run place and one we would definitely very highly recommend!

Great place. Love the people. Very positive and uplifting.

Family found the community clean and the staff friendly. Thought the value was good for the price and the fact that it was close for them to visit was a benefit.
