This looked like a nice community when I visited. the people I met were nice and helpful. The kitchen is only open at meal times. This community was just a little farther away than what we were looking for.

The staff is friendly and caring. Facility is clean with a variety of areas to enjoy.

When I toured Oakmont of Concord, I thought it went very well. The place was beautiful and very well maintained. The staff was very nice and the tour guide was knowledgeable. I toured many communities and they were all very nice. It was a good experience.

The community looks like a nice hotel. They offer a lot of activities as well as trips out. The staff have been great. They are helpful and mom feels she can talk to anyone about her needs. The food is hit or miss and sometimes there is a wait to get your food. They only change the menu three times a quarter, however they are willing to accommodate special orders. The main thing that helped us chose this community was the friendliness of the staff and residents.

When mom first moved into this community it was great. It was owned by a family and it was family oriented. Once the new owners took over things changed. They cut the staff and the prices went up. They started to nickel and dime everything. They did not seem to care about the residents as much as the previous owners. We did move mom out of this community due to this.

[Removed] was great; staff is bilingual in various languages which I believe would make my mother more comfortable; has option of companion suite; assisted living portion has small outside area and not gated in; memory care area has a nice small courtyard section; provided pricing on both parents if decided to go that route.

Cypress was a nice community but they were telling me that my aunt would need 24-hour care in addition. It was going to me so much more expensive and they would still try to separate my aunt and uncle when we wanted to keep them together.

This place was one of my top choices out of all the different communities I had looked at. The property was beautiful and I loved the floor plan set up that they had. They had a meal plan as well as activities provided for the residents throughout the week that I was impressed with. Overall this place was great and had a lot to offer, it just was out of budget for my mother.

The Sunrise of Playa Vista was very nice as well. Like the other Sunrise's that I toured, it had a very nice floor plan and was decorated very nicely. They just needed more things going on, more residents outside interacting and activities going on.

I initially looked at several facilities in the area and found Brush Creek to be the most desirable situation. One of my criteria was that my mom be able to bring her small dog and they were able to make this happen for her. I found Brush Creek to be more expensive that other assisted living homes. It's been nearly 3 years now and I feel good about my choice. My mom participates in pretty much ALL of the activities offered and that's probably the best part. The staff know her well and are easily able to adapt as her needs change. The core staff has been great to work with.

This seemed like a nice clean community when I visited. The people I met were nice. This community allows pets and they offer daily activities. This community was just a little out of our budget.

They have done well with a rather difficulty situation and they've been very proactive. They have been very helpful and pleasant about number of difficulties we've been faced. Given the circumstances they've done all that they could. The only thing they could have done is explained the time frame that we needed for getting release forms from the doctors filled out.

This tour was nice, I was not happy to know that the staff changes a lot. The residents did not seem active. The community is clean, but the rooms are smaller and seem like a hotel. This community has no green space to enjoy. The menu is an appealing. I recommend families tour this community. They need more outdoor area for the residents to enjoy.

So far, things are going very well for my grandmother. The meals that they are very good. The community is clean and well maintained. The only thing we are disappointed in is the transportation. The transportation was what sold us to this community and we had to pay an extra deposit, but they only have one driver and it is very hard to get a scheduled time to use them.

I toured this community. The staff was nice and did answer my questions on the care that is given. They do have a lot of activities but it did not seem like a lot of residents participate. The community appeared to be very clean and maintained. They had a nice menu I would recommend this community.

We found the place that we needed and appreciate A Place For Mom's for helping us with this search. The overall care and experience is working out well for my mom and us.

We toured this community when looking for my mother. We got a good impression but chose another Atria location closer to us. Overall, I would recommend this location.

Sunflower Gardens was the first senior living option I visited and [Removed] was very kind, understanding and compassionate. The surrounding property is secure as well as magnificent for the clients to walk around without feeling locked up. The rooms each have a window facing out which only adds to the feeling of "living". There are activities for the clients as well as transportation to doctor appointments. The 60,000 per year is within my price range thus making this an option. I need to do a bit more research (e.g. eventual hospice needs, power of..., as well as speaking with [Removed] doctors to ensure we are all on the same path.

Really liked the floor plan of the room my parents would share on the assisted living side. It was somewhat split between two separate sides with a kitchenette in the middle. My parents could have a small fridge, a microwave and have their own meals in the room if they so chose. This place seemed to offer everything we'd need at competitive prices, but looked a little more dated than the other three places we toured.
