Sunrise goes above and beyond. I have never seen such compassion and kindness every single day. I know that my loved one will be taken care of while enjoying all that sunrise has to offer!

My mother recently went on hospice the transition was seamless. Sunrise is taking great care of her. I would recommend sunrise to anyone.

They do a very good job at Sunrise of Seal beach, the service they provide is excellent. The caregivers are very kind and professional, and the other residents are all friendly. The staff take wonderful care of the people who live here. It can be a big change for a person moving in to one of these communities, and the people at Sunrise have been very helpful throughout the whole process.

My wife was placed here in the event of an emergency. The time the staff took to get to know her made me feel secure. I was scared and they made me feel comfort in knowing she was in good hands. I have now moved in and they are wonderful to me as well - couldn't pick a better place. STAFF IS AMAZING!

I went to Sunrise for Resources to Remember event. The food was great. Staff was smiling. Felt like a home. Met lots of smiling faces.

I toured this community and when I walked in I fell in love. They have such a cute quaint homey atmosphere. Compared to all the other places I like this one the best. Everyone smiled and said hi as I walked by. I met most of the managers. It did not have an odor and they said they recently renovated which I could tell. I am proud to stay my grandmother is moving this week. I brought her in for lunch and she fell in love as well. Their dog is so CUTE!!! VERY IMPRESSED

Overall they are doing a good job. Communication could be improved in some things. There needs to be a better system for the residents complaints. They have a group that has already been formed, that have representatives but not everyone's complaints are heard. The food and the food service needs to be better, the food comes cold sometimes, and the servers are all very young, and could do better. Overall it's one of the better places. They keep it nice and clean. They have so much to do there, it's a lot. They have a Dr. and nurse that comes in too. They have a ball room, and a game room, a nice movie theater, you can book any of the rooms for the family to come, at not extra charge, a huge formal dining room, swimming pools, tons of rooms. They serve wine and once a month for birthdays they book lobster. They have a little bistro where you can sit down it's a coffee shop, with cookies and things. They could have a better way to get people to meet each other, hold some kind of a meet and greet. It's beautiful, though with a fireplace in each room. Management needs a better way of keeping in touch with the residents though, you don't see them out mingling. It's pretty big, and when you see the outside you wouldn't even know they have all of that. It doesn't look as big as it is.

They are very welcoming and open. I visit a couple of times a week and mom is just thriving there. There was a little nervousness going into it, but it has really turned out to be the best thing. I was in a serious crisis emotionally trying to find a good place for mom, and this has really been a major relief. It's really been a great experience.

They present themselves well, the staff is friendly, and they take their time to understand and do things right. The move-in process did seem to be a little bit like they were winging it, and it would have been smoother if they had a checklist of exactly what all needed to be done and who is responsible for what. Other than that it has been a great experience and I would highly recommend Capriana.

They have a really wonderful organization. They were very helpful in getting mom settled in and transitioned into the memory care unit at Oakmont of Roseville. Due to her mental state she was a little confused, and they were just very patient and kind with her as they could be. It's been as perfect of a place as I could expect for the circumstances and I would highly recommend them.

The medical care at Sunrise at San Marino is excellent. They take really good care of my father, making sure he is clean, eating well, has clean clothes, etc. He looks to be fine and healthy. The staff there is always very helpful and willing to do anything they can about any requests that I make for dad. I just think it's a really nice place and dad is doing very well there.

Former neighbor moved here. Lovely facility. Too expensive for me.

They are doing a good job. More than one parent can make things a little more complicated, we were concerned that they maybe didn't have enough staff for the transition. It's a really nice facility and they do what they can. It was one of the few that was new and clean, and the memory care director is very nice and knows her stuff. She was a big factor in making the choice.

After my mom passed away I reviewed a number of facilities for my 94 year old father suffering from dementia & chose this one even though his level of care was more expensive than the other places. The staff was extremely helpful, understanding & friendly. The 2 room suite I chose was spacious and so nice. The staff pitched in and helped us move his familiar furniture in while he was on an outing. I particularly like the homey, rather than institutional, feel. The dining room is spacious and the chairs are actually comfortable for the seniors. They all have arms and wheels on carpet which makes it so much easier for the residents to get up and down at the table. I have eaten the food there and it is delicious. Since my father's been there they've gone on outings to movies, museums, stores, etc. Plenty of in-house activities going on everyday. Lots to choose from. We have a higher level of care and there's always someone looking in on my father if he's in his room. My father has adapted marvelously and is happy to call it his new home. That's after 60 years in their family home. He has his privacy and maintains his own lifestyle. He's independent (under a watchful eye).

They are very caring, very friendly, and very welcoming. They make us feel very very welcome and at home. The only think I do kind of wish they could be a little more careful about is the food. The food is good, but my dad has a few special dietary requirements that the wait staff does not always remember, and try sometimes to suggest food that he is not able to have. Other than that one exception it has been a very good overall experience and I would certainly recommend them.

We were so worried to move our Mom into a "memory care facility". Oakmont helped us understand and see all that they could do to help our Mom at this time. After one month our Mom looks great, she is standing taller, her skin is healthy and we know this is the right place for Mom to get the care she needs. The staff is very caring and sweet.

The friendliness of the staff went way above and beyond my expectations! My husband needed a lot of special one on one help and care, and they were there to provide it, always doing an excellent job and with a positive attitude. The whole program was completely adequate for our needs. I really can't think of anything that could have possibly done any better.

I must say I have been thoroughly impressed with Sunrise and how they have taken care of my family member in such a caring and compassionate manner. It feels like home and I feel comfortable visiting. The staff is always very friendly and inviting.

My parents moved into Oakmont of Carmichael in Oct 2014 and could not be more pleased with the quick response time, the care and quality and the exceptional food. They offer a wide variety of options of activities to keep everyone not only informed but encouraged to attend and participate. My Mother is in a wheel chair and it is hard for us to get her around. Oakmont of Carmichael not only got her to go on an outing to a concert but made her feel she could do more than she was. They also have a special exercise machine that she can use to exercise her arms and legs without leaving her wheelchair. (The take her down to use it whenever she wants to and stay with her while she exercises to make sure she is safe) The food is amazing. They are 5 star quality and the chef is out of this world GREAT. He does a different soup from scratch each day and the specials are wonderful, If that was not enough the \\We will make whatever you would like\\ option on the standard menu it is like ordering from an endless supply of options, and the rotisserie their own chickens and smoke the salmon right there on site.) The staff is so friendly and helpful above and beyond the call of duty from the Friendly Staff greeting you at the front door, the maintenance staff, the directors, the medical staff from medicine to personal care. My parents were given pendents/call buttons and encouraged to use them for anything including needing a glass of water. They also are equipped with a fall detector is case they fall and can't push the button and it also has a locator so they can be found when I come to visit them. (I found them in the Amazing Theater watching a movie last week)) The apartments are beautiful and large and light with an impressive amount of storage and room to move around in, with 10 foot ceilings and easy enter showers I could go on for hours on all the great qualities of Oakmont of Carmichael but I must get back to work, I feel real good that my parents are in such nice, safe and reliable hands and are happy. Did I mention the fresh cookie available 24/7... Great treat each time I visit

Our Mom is well cared for and she likes the food! Very nice place for mom.
