I recently toured with Brookdale Clairemont. Their staff are very friendly. I was able to eat lunch with them and it was great. Good atmosphere and very inviting. We toured right during the residents tie dyeing T-Shirts. I thought this was an awesome activity. We talked with lots of management including [name removed] the Marketing Manager, [name removed]the Executive Director, [name removed]the Activities Manager, and [name removed] the Business Office Manager. They all really impressed us. We will be choosing this community for our dad.

Brookdale Clairemont has been very good. According to my loved one, the food could be a little better, but my loved one likes living there. Lots of activities offered. There is great staff communication with the family so far. My loved one doesn't need much aid at this time. Bingo, poker, card games, dominoes, lunch/scenic outings, walking club, happy hour, ice cream socials, guest choirs and more are some of the activities offered to the residents to participate in.

The hunt began when my uncle required further care. We went to several locations, but the moment he stepped inside Brookdale Clairemont, he knew it was the place he wanted to call home. There was a good vibe in the air. There were a lot of things going on. They were quite friendly. The social gatherings are a lot of fun. They form lifetime connections and receive 24-hour assistance. My father even begged me to relocate him here from [removed] so he could live with his brother, but the location is too far away from us for that to happen.

We did not plan well and A Place For Mom helped immensely. We needed to move dad from Wisconsin to San Diego with only a few weeks notice I initially toured facilities I found on Google and they were all very expensive, or after touring we would realize the facility could to accommodate my dads needs. We called A Place for Mom and they referred us to places we had not heard of. Initially I thought they wouldn’t work but after touring Brookdale Clairemont we were sold! Thank goodness we found a great place that we could afford in a short period of time.! We’ve been here almost 2 months now and still impressed with the great service he is receiving. I’m would highly recommend adding A Place for Mom to your search to find places you did not know about! Thank You!

I have been living at Brookdale Clairemont for 4.5 years. I am very comfortable here. The facility is a decent size...not too big, not too small. The food is good. The activities and outings are fun. Staff are caring and kind.

The two big things for us they helped make our decision on Brookdale Clairemont was the price range for the quality of care. Also how the interacted with our family when we initially toured and how they still continue to communicate with our family now that our loved one has moved in. Based on our experience so far we would absolutely 110% recommend this community to other families.

We thought Brookdale Clairemont was nice, and we enjoyed the tour. It was just a little farther from our desired location.

We did a virtual tour of this community and the tour was great. The staff was very friendly and they answered all of our questions. They had good follow-up and communication also.

My dad is doing very well here. The staff is wonderful they encourage him to eat at meal time and to join in some of the activities that they are doing sometimes they are successful and sometimes not but the fact they try is important to me. I can't say enough about how they treat my mom when she is there to visit dad. They have made her a parking space close to the door so she doesn' t have to walk too far.They encourage her to join in on meal time which most of the time she doesn't but appreciates the offer. The staff just makes her feel valued and welcomed

We recently moved my parent into Brookdale. The staff is friendly, helpful and works hard to make the resident comfortable.

My grandmother is doing well since her move in, it's exactly what she needs. She is now around a lot of other people in a social environment. It's a bit pricey, but I don't think we will get anything like it for less. I would recommend this community to anyone looking.

It has been a rocky experience for us so far, but that isn't due to the community it is because my friend's Dementia has gotten worse. The community is doing everything they can to help him, but I know I will have to find a new community to accommodate his needs better. Brookdale has been nothing but the best to us, and really helpful with everything. It is a really kind and caring place to move your loved one to when you need to start considering options for them. The food is great, and they offer a lot of fun activities for the residents to do. I would highly recommend this community. It is less expensive than other communities we looked at, and they have much better care than other places. It is truly a great place to move your loved one into.

Everyone is very nice at Brookdale Clairemont. She is happy. We are hoping this is a good fix for her. So far so good at this facility. I have no complaints.

I think they were very accommodating in meeting with the family and doing the tours and explaining to my father exactly what they offered and how much it would cost. If my father doesn't want the full portion of a meal then they try and accommodate him with what he wants. All the staff seems very friendly.

My sister is happy here. I think it's a fair value for the price. I think the staff is extremely friendly. The building is very accessible to visitors. The pricing for a visitors meal is a little high. The visitor parking is a lot to be desired. The facility is very clean. The care services are excellent. Overall, The Brookdale Clairmont has been a very good experience. It's a nice community. Great place.

The Brookdale Clairemont is really good. There is tons of activities. The food is good. My loved one and I have had a great experience. This is a good community with friendly people. Very nice.

I can not think of anything they can do to improve. Brookdale Clairemont was the most excellent place I could have possibly been referred to. My mother passed away recently and I knew that my dad would either do well in Brookdale or pass. As soon as I walked in I was absolutely impressed! The people there were all very happy, the place was very nice, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly! My dad was watched over very well every minute of every day, and they kept me up to date with great communication. It has been so heartwarming!

They are doing great, my mom is doing well. She has been going to do crafts and goes to play the games. She goes to church services that they have there, which is a big plus for her. She has her own room, and this is the closest community to our house, so we didn't have to look anywhere else.

We really liked the feeling of this community and are moving our mother in this month. It is bright and sunny from the minute you walk in and she will enjoy the courtyard off the lobby with her gardening. It was very clean and we really enjoyed lunch. A few residents came up to introduce themselves to us and expressed their happiness with living there. Said the food was great. which is very importatnt to mom as she was always a great cook. Also shared that the staff is very caring and so is the Director and nurse. they are hands-on and always available. We are looking forward to getting mom settled in her new apartment and having her close to us so we can see her more often. I think it will really be a good fit for our family.

My mom was only there 2 days, we all thought she could do assisted living but she had an incident and they decided that she needed skilled nursing. We liked the people and also the convinience, it seemed like there were nice activities and it would have been really great if she could have stayed and enjoyed them. They were really great about refunding us our money and they were extremely good to us, so much so that we wanted to put my mother in law in the Emeritus at Carmel.
