I am a Registered Nurse, and I would put my loved one in this facility. The staff are the best!! I have seen these guys go above and beyond on many occasions. The management is often on the floor with the staff checking on residents. I am in awe of the kind hearts and the love given to not only the residents but also the families involved. I keep telling the staff that one day I will reside in their facility!!! I do not work for the facility; therefore, I am an outsider looking in to a wonderful, fun-filled, warm environment for all who enter. Your residents are blessed!

I love living here because they take such good care of me. Everything I need is provided to me and I don't have to worry about transformation, meals on buying groceries, or house maintenance of even clean or housekeeping. My favorite part of living at Helena Place is all the activities they have to do for us. I attended the Senior Citizen Prom and we had a Trunk or Treat Halloween festival where I was able to hand out candy to the neighborhood children. The October "porch party" was the most fun. I really look forward to everything they have for us to do.

We placed mom here earlier this year and she has been the happiest I've seen her since having to place her in a memory care facility. The staff has been wonderful and the care has been excellent. Mom seems to be more active at Mallard Ridge and we so appreciate everything they've done for mom.

I was in for a visit and tour for the first time. I love the security of the building from the front door and throughout with freedom of the residence to go to the courtyard which is within the center of the building. The front of the facility was inviting from the moment I entered the doors. The staff were very nice as were the residents. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for an assisted living facility in the North Augusta area. It's even close to University Prompt Care and the WalMart shopping plaza and other shops.
