I am happy to write a review for Morningside House of St. Charles because it is a warm and friendly community. It is well staffed and efficiently run. The residents were eager to welcome my 95 year old mother when she arrived. They openly tried to make her feel comfortable coming into the facility. The staff is professional but also warm and caring. I am so pleased that I was referred to this facility. I toured six and I chose this one. It is always clean and they don't isolate the residents with Dementia from the other residents. They keep them involved with each other. I would highly recommend Morhingside House of St Charles.

My search for a community for my 89-year-old mom started out frustrating. However, after visiting several communities, I fell in love with Morningside House of Laurel. God was at work here, bringing the right people to help me find a perfect community for my mother. Morningside House of Laurel has excellent leadership, and the staff ensures residents receive the best care and attention. The community reminds me of the famous fairy tale "Goldilocks and the Three Bears": not too hot or cold, but just right!

The staff treated my father as if he was one of their own. They went above and beyond for my entire family during the most difficult time of our life. I would highly recommend Morningside to anyone who is looking for the kindest, caring and understanding people. Everyone we came in contact with had a ready hug and shoulder to cry on when needed. My parents are 92 & 94 in independent living. They have had great care with everything whether it’s cleaning, medical, or just checking on them. The activities are fun for the residents who participate and the food is delicious. When I call from CA they have been extremely helpful. I wish more seniors were interested but with the costs high, it is difficult for most.

Our mom has lived at Morningside House of Towamencin for the past two years. The people who work there are caring and provide excellent care for my mom who is mostly independent but suffers from memory lapses. She is able to go to meals when she wants and has a small kitchen to make breakfast and snacks at night. The medication service is excellent and mom never misses a pill thanks to the terrific attendants who visit her with pills and lovely conversation. There are many activities to do at the facility but our mom is mostly excited to take walks outside the facility. She stays in shape and in the summer gets a nice tan from her walks and her time spent outside. We have nothing but nice things to say about the facility - it is bright and cheerful and clean. Residents can walk to events and are always greeted by workers in the hallways. There is a memory care facility on site as well. I highly recommend Morningside for a parent who needs extra help as they age.

We initially chose Morningside House of Friendship because it was close to my house and my stepfather would be able to easily visit my mom because he lives close by. I love the patience that they show my mom even when she isn't having the best day.
