I have visited this building many times and the staff is always so friendly. The residents all look so happy which is a true testament to a community and their care. The Executive Director, [name removed], has been there for many years and the quality of the building and care reflect this. Highly recommend.

Truly caring staff and management. They are very hands on and try to make everyday fun and memorable for the residents. They are always available to talk and figure out any concerns. Felt very comfortable having my mom reside there and wish she could have moved in sooner!

Morningside House of Friendship just "gets it". The building is so warm, homelike and welcoming. They even have 2 therapy Golden Doodles for the residents to love! [name removed] and her entire team are so kind and caring and the staff has been there forever, which is so rare. Tons of unique and fun activities and the food is restaurant quality. My experience with Morningside has been amazing and I highly recommend this community to anyone who wants the absolute best care and service for their loved one!

Very clear expectations of the care that would be provided to my mother. Every staff member shows significant empathy for the residents and respects them and provides excellent support. Can always count on the staff and management for support for family as well as residents. Very knowledgeable and appropriately trained staff.

The staff is very Friendly. Longevity is strong there, so we have seen the same faces for years. [name removed] inputs the residents own recipes into the menus, so that helps it feel like home! [name removed] keeps the residents very active and entertained. My mom loves it there. I will recommend them to anyone looking.

I have had a great experience with Morningside House. From the beginning, working with [name removed], she listened to what I was looking for and what my mom needed to what my mom wanted. And when it came time to move in, everyone I dealt with was kind. They go out of their to make the process smooth for both the new resident and the family.

Facility has a very homey atmosphere, very clean and staff is attentive and compassionate. Renovations and aesthetics are beautiful. Residents are treated like family, and they accommodate all levels of care. Food is also excellent, as well as the variety of stimulating and enjoyable activities offered to residents. Staff and residents are friendly and welcoming. I have been visiting this facility for 9 years and highly recommend Morningside.

I cannot say enough about the dedication. The staff has for the residents in this community. Great activities, wonderful food and fabulous staff. The physical community itself is beautiful and well-maintained. Definitely a must see to believe!

This team is absolutely amazing, they always have something fun going on, have the best resident/family events and most of all provide the best care you can ask for my 99 year old grandmother-in law. She loves her apartment and watches the planes fly in and out of BWI and loves to have visitors. p.s. their NEW outdoor patio and firepit area is great for all ages!! Thank you Team Friendship!!

Morningside House has exceptional employees who have been with the company for a very long time. This is unheard of now a days for any job. Most employees have been with them for ten years or more. This makes you feel very safe to bring your loved one to a place like this.

Telling family and friends about my mother's community is a blessing. With so many senior living options in this area, it can be very difficult to navigate the waters. Some communities have beautiful chandeliers. Others have a pool or an amazing bar area for happy hour. That's wonderful and if my mother had the ability to appreciate those things, I'm sure that's what we would have looked for during our search. Instead, we searched for a community that had experienced management that hadn't just gotten their two months ago. A community that has not only consistent staff, but ones that had experience with memory care. A community that doesn't tell me what I want to hear, rather a community that has enough respect for me to always be completely transparent. A community that makes my family and friends always feel welcomed and on a first name basis. A community where my mother is treated with the dignity and respect that she most certainly deserves. We found that home in Poet's Walk.

After keeping dad at home for as long as I could, I began my search for the right community in 2021. After going through three different communities in two years due to lack of staff, high manager turnover rates and residents who clearly weren't cared for (uncleanliness, same clothes day after day, unwashed hair, dirty fingernails), I figured that there wasn't a community that could meet my standards. Enter Poet's Walk. Since the day I first toured, they have kept their word on every promise. Consistent staffing, consistent engagement tailored to my dad, excursions, award winning meals and most importantly...COMMUNICATION!! Poet's Walk truly answered every prayer.

After looking at seven other senior residences in NE PA, we chose to move to the Morningside House of Towamencin hoping that the staff here could meet our needs. We have now been in residence for two weeks and couldn't be more delighted. The staff members are competent and compassionate and have met all of our needs.There's a variety of activities every day with musical performances, sporting event parties and something for every interest. My wife and I are enjoying the friendly staff and residence neighbors here and are glad we made the move.

Poet’s Walk provides exceptional specialized care for patients suffering from dementia and diseases like Parkinson’s. My Dad who was prone to falling had been in other facilities that were not able to prevent him from falling resulting in multiple hospitalizations due to injuries. At Poet’s Walk, my Dad had zero hospitalizations due to falling. The care was great, the facility is spacious and elegant, the nurses and staff are amazing. I highly recommend Poet’s Walk!

I've had my husband home with me for the past two and a half years since his diagnosis of Parkinsons. I never believed I would be able to find a community that meets his needs as well as my expectations. I was wrong. Poet's Walk creates purpose for my husband every day. Whether it's a morning "golf tournament", building things with real tools alongside other new friends of his that he's met through the communities "man cave monday" group or watching his favorite college team play with the same group, every day is a new adventure. To top it all off, he gets his favorite midnight snack every day, something that may seem trivial, but is super important. In the eyes of the administration at Poet's Walk, there are no small details!

Great information and extraordinary compassion. Morningside is so well thought out! [name removed] gave a great tour and was very attentive. I was able to pour my heart out without feeling rushed or disregarded. The community is very nice and everyone was so very friendly.

I placed my mother at Poet's Walk one year ago and I have never felt better about such a big decision in my life. My favorite part is the environment. The team here goes above and beyond to provide a sense of purpose to every single resident, regardless of what stage of this disease they are currently in. They don't see a patient, rather, a human who deserves the ability to engage with other residents, enjoy passions from their lives such as cooking demonstrations, flower arranging and of course, their weekly "High Tea at Noon" affairs. Before I toured Poet's Walk, I was resigned to the fact that mom's ability to make new "best friends" was a thing of the past. Thanks to the incredible engagement team (or Purpose Creators as I like to refer to them) I get to see that familiar smile that had been gone for far too long.

Highly recommend this place. They take great care of the residents. If you are looking for a home that feels like home, look no further. This place pays attention to details and works round the clock. You will not be disappointed

The search to find the perfect place for my loved one has been a long and emotionally difficult one, but I can confidently say we have found our extended family. Poets Walk offers something that we did not see anywhere else. The employees are dedicated to their individual tasks and come together to make sure the residents are loved and well cared for. All departments are visible throughout the day. You’ll see the housekeepers working hard, the caregivers being attentive, there is always some type of activity going on in Main Street, and the servers serving the homemade food and then cleaning after meals are over. It is truly something that we are happy to have found! You cannot go wrong with placing your loved one in the care of [name removed] and [name removed], they’ll quickly become part of your family.

It is my pleasure to write this review on behalf of my family, specifically, my wife. I will be the first to admit that I was completely against placing [name removed] in a "home". Eventually, with my family really pushing me to put more focus on my own health, I began looking at different options. I was extremely underwhelmed, until we visited Poet's Walk. I finally felt that I was listened to, rather than being sold an item. They understood my needs, worked at my pace and never "pushed me" to hold an apartment. In fact, my first tour was two hours and I left feeling like I was leaving a family get together. The director of sales carefully listened to each one of my needs and made sure I didn't leave without speaking with the head of each department. Since making the decision to place, I've gone on outings and excursions with my wife, I've taken part in the men's group at the community, and I've made new friends with other husbands just like me!!
